Humorous Doujin
« on: March 04, 2014, 03:52:13 AM »
I'm looking for a humorous touhou doujinishi, which doesn't have too much japanese pun joke.
Well, it's fine if they have too much japanese pun as long the english translation is really good (able to make u laugh). : D

I'm just throwing my fav. humorous doujin artist name here:

Zephyr Whoops, got the name wrong. It's "Makegumi Club" actually. : p
Bomber Grape

As you can see, I don't have a lot listed, so if you could help filling them up, that would be awesome.
And if it's PG-18, please send it via PM. I believe underage do browse this forum. : p

Oh, and sorry, please no yukkuri.

Thanks!

♦Life of a Maid
♦Bkub (Charm)
♦Hole of Yago
♦Karaage's Shop - Not sure about this one. (Haven't read all of them)
These are some mostly appropriate ones. . . .mostly

Because I haven't seen any of this type of doujin talk here I was wondering if we could continue this thread for other quality doujins of specific styles, like backstory (Aozora Market - rain rain raining down), slice of life (Asatsuki Dou - gensokyo's epicure chronicle) or romance (Honey Sakura - Cirno and Reimu's 1-2-3) and whatever others.

I think you should check out Pageratta's comics if you haven't. No really interesting jokes, but I find his comics hilarious in a sense.

That and all those 4koma's existing. To be honest, I haven't seen much of the doujin world.

Miko Miko Suika is a good pick for a  funny, lighthearted doujin.

go to danbooru and type in "futa4192" (no he's not a futa artist), he have a fair share of H-doujin though, skip those if you don't like them.

Ryusuitei's Suwakoto series is Nichijou-esque crazy, random funny. Mamange on Danbooru is mainly cute/heart warming, but also has a good number of gags worked in.

How about an official work? Inaba of the Moon, Inaba of the Earth is a comedy 4koma. Several other official manga are humorous but this one is much more so.

Happy Flame Time has never failed to make me laugh, though it does have its fair share of Japanese jokes.

It's more cute than funny but the Mysterious Seed (Fushigi no Tane) has many moments. ^^
Unfortunately, several of the artist other artworks are not safe for work
and then, there's arguably the presence of Komachi in the comic.
If you're interested, do a user search at pixiv, look for まったりユフィ.
Alternatively do an artwork search at pixiv for フシギのたね.

Long story short, what if Yuuka had a Bulbasaur (Fushigidane)?
Oh yes, use the links in the descriptions to directly navigate to the next or previous page.

You can wish for anything!

Carcharias - Very Versatile Humor with heavy emphasis on touhou lore.
[Though "Soga no Tojiko Will Not Talk" series is dark and have some NSFW scene, don't be tricked by the humorous light prologue, haha]
