Not really, it's a hack.

More importantly, this shows UFO can be used as some sort of engine for mods and possibly even a replacement for Danmakufu should the tools appear.

It is not the UFO engine though from the looks. There are many things that makes it more MoF engine imitation and not UFO.

Still couldn't make out all the blurry characters in the intro, but the first two are 吸血（kyuuketsu - Blood sucking), so you can bet it's probably referring to Remilia.

I'm wondering whether the 'traffic light trio' refers to the Moriya Shrine Squad, or the UFO protagonist squad. Because Suwako (Y), Kanako (Red), Sanae(Green/Blue), and Reimu (R), Marisa (Y), and Sanae (G/B) can both make traffic lights.. Hm.

I would love to do something like that, considering that danmakufu is still lacking stuff from the original games, like the graphic rendering.
