Someone said me a week ago that the announce of the release of the full version of the touhou 13.5 english patch was too hard to find, in the middle of the translation thread ( https://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php/topic,14754.msg1139409.html#msg1139409 ). And he's right, so I create a new thread to put this information in a more visible place.
Nearly a month ago, after more than a year of hard work, I finished the english patch for Touhou 13.5 ~ Hopeless Masquerade.
You can download it in exe format or in zip format.
If you choose the exe format, you only have to download the exe file, run it, and follow the instructions.
If you choose the zip format, download the zip file, and copy all its content into the game's directory.
In each case, to run the patched game after the installation, run th135e.exe.
Here are the download links :
exe format : http://www.mediafire.com/download/i9eedh0ebm8y9g1/th135_english_patch_v1_05.exe
zip format : http://www.mediafire.com/download/hdphst9v7u449cu/th135_english_patch_v1_05.zip
If you have any questions, remarks, thanks, or anything, you can answer here or in the translation thread, or send me a pm or a mail.

Cool.

Awesome! Thanks for your hard work and thanks to all the guys who worked on it.
-
Ah, thanks. I didn't know it was finished at all, so indeed it was hidden. Thank you for all the work put into it.

A lot of people found out about the patch through my video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAXkdKXgw54) which was posted in Gensokyo.org so thankfully a lot of people know already. At least I can update the description with this thread instead :V

Hi there, I have a question regarding the patch. I have downloaded an English patch for this game before, it was partially translated. What do I need to do to apply the new patch? I am thinking of downloading the zip file instead of the exe file and overwrite all the old files. Do you think that will work? The old English patch I used was from when the game still in v1.10c. I didn't touch the game for a long time.

Err... How was the old patch...
I think I remembered.
The exe version should work. It should erase the existing files.
And the zip version will work.
BTW, I read the previous messages, and I appreciate them. I just don't find anything useful to answer.

I removed the old patch, they were th135e.exe and th135e.pak I think. Then put all the file from the zip into the game folder. And it worked fine for me. Nice work! Now I need some time to practice before doing some net play. ^^

Good job!
-
Very nice indeed... this is going to make me play again.

I'm not really sure I should create a new topic, I mean what for?
Anyway, will you guys translate and edit ULiL too?
-
Yes I will.
-
nevermind I figured this out myself, thank you for the patches
-
I missed this.....
.....
I thought it would be posted in the old thread!
....
Is there a more standard patch for DDC now?
.....
Thanks for this!
-
Well, I am pro-thcrap. Thcrap works with DDC, so I don't need to make a static patch for it.
The old static patches were done by gensokyo.org, but I think they share my point of view regarding thcrap.
Therefore, no, there isn't a static patch for DDC for now, and I don't think there will be one soon.

A DDC standard patch please mainly for THCrap is incompatible with the script for save in the game folder
Sorry for my bad english is not my natal language
-
I suppose the script you talk about is this one : http://s4.zetaboards.com/VagrantEpochers/single/?p=8359089&t=9878842
You can use a similar script with thcrap :
@echo off
md "%CD%\data"
set "APPDATA=%CD%\data"
"th14 (en-fr).lnk"
Replace th14 (en-fr) with the shortcut name, and put this script in the shortcut folder. The save files will be in the shortcut folder.
If you want to have the save files in the game folder, move the shortcut and the script in the game folder.
I'll suggest to the thcrap team to include this in their patcher
