Guess what, after a year of this monstrosity (https://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php/topic,17855.0.html) being dead, I've decided to start a new one! Expect updates to be infrequent.

How this works
1. You call an action. (with something like > preferably)
2. I go to random.org and roll a d20.
3. I reply with the result of that roll translated to how well your action went. 1 is worst, 20 is best.
4. I repeat these steps for every player in the game.
5. I repeat the previous few steps until I get bored/too tired/let it die for a year/etc.

Stats
Everyone has an inventory, HP stat, and Attack stat.

Inventory is limitless. It's what you have.
HP is how much health you have. When you get to 0 or negative, A d3 is rolled to see how many turns you're out. You can call actions when dead.
HP is found by adding 3 d20 dice together.
Attack is how much damage you do. This number is multiplied by roll result / 20, then subtracted from target HP. This stat has different effects depending on your action.
Attack is found by a d20 die.

Boosts
A perfect d20 will reward you with a boost, in the form of anything that I want to give you. To use the boost, simply command that you use the boost, and it will be applied to your roll. A boost can be positive or negative, and can be applied to just about anything.

YOUR GOAL:
Defeat 10 bosses, each of increasing difficulty.
These bosses use a d6 die every 3 turns after all players have rolled. Each next boss gets one more die to use per roll. So the 1st boss has 1, 2nd has 2, etc.
Receiving bonuses at 20+ also apply to bosses.

Boss HP is found by adding 5 d20s together.
Boss Attack is found by a d20 die.

That was a really unepic entry attack. It's a glancing blow... Boss -3HP

Since nothing strange has happened for 2 turns, I'm changing how I interpret the rolls.

Starting next turn, The scale will be this:
1: Insta-death
10: Average (damage = attack)
15+: Something weird happens (free bonus!)
20+: PERFECT! (What you ask for happens, even better bonus, do  guranteed 10x damage for the turn)

Excepting 20+, I will be dividing your rolls by 10 instead of 20 to find damage. So if you roll a 10, you do normal damage. 15 is 1.5x damage, 2 is 0.2x, and so on.

Oh yeah, bosses attack every 3 turns. So next turn you get attacked by by the boss.

May the RNG favor us all.

The Green-Haired Fairy tries to scold the Ice Fairy, but over the loudness of the battle, the fairy's accusations weren't heard. Boss -5HP

You grab the Ice Fairy by the arm and drag her to a sacrificing circle that you made with some dust bunnies you had laying around. With a drop of water on the back of your hand, the dust bunny circle begins to glow, along with the Ice Fairy. Red and blue light streams from from the fairy's mouth and eyes. In the end, the Chaos Gods manifest in front of you.

"You are still not worthy of removing your curse. But with this sacrifice, we'll at least remove a turn from your curse." A flash of light and they're gone.
You now have one 1 turn left of halved rolls!

You charge a massive attack. You jump 20 feet in the air and prepare for an elbow drop.
The Ice Fairy looks at you, flying in the air. She gets a massive elbow in the face. Boss -180HP

The Random Number God and his son Dice God materialize from somewhere. They congratulate on you getting the first natural 20 in the game. They give you the Pendant of Luck.
Your rolls now have +5 for 5 turns.

I don't think Cirno's actually dead yet. Taking 185 damage out from her remaining 225 health.

Also, is defense a flat damage reduction or a roll to reduce damage? I'm confused because it didn't seem to have an effect from the boss's last attack (though to be honest I don't really mind).

Flat damage reduction. Damage is calculated first, then defense subtracts for the total.
