> Head with Aya to Kourindou. We can check up on new stock ourselves too.

You and Aya head off for Kourindou, after Aya pays Mystia off. Tokiko welcomes you both in.

Aya blinks. "Well, I didn't realize Kourin hired help now. He isn't in, then?"

You have 14 more credits waiting for you, bringing you up to 15 Credits. You assume this is from Patchy and The Yama reimbursing you.

>Examine Cybele Gem, Red Chalice, Phoenix Gem, Familiar Combinae

>Cybele Gem
A gem approximately the size and shape of a human eye, it is an amethyst with a hollow square inside. You don't imagine it was naturally made. There is a strong enchantment left inside of the gem.

>Red Chalice
A chalice that will fulfill the wish at the cost of a life. The question is rather simply, what wish it is.

>Phoenix Gem
A gem that unfortunately does not house a phoenix. It contains an enchantment to burst into a magnificent flame at command.

>Familiar Combinae
You've heard of these, often considered a dark art as far as familiar-crafts go. It'll combine the traits of two items to summon or alter a familiar. The cost is usually heavy for the user, and you're not always guaranteed the familiar will HELP you.

>Ask Tokiko for more information on the two gems.

>Cybele Gem
"I heard that Cybele is a word connected to earth in some way, so the enchantment in this gem 'returns the victim to earth'. I'm not sure how."

>Phoenix Gem
"It sets itself on fire! It can be activated at a range, but you need to keep a connection to the gem. Could be useful for a stove or something."

>Try looking through the Cybele Gem's eye, as though it were a lens.

Tokiko lets you, and you look through the eye shaped gem.

You see a house. It seems somewhat familiar... Much like the one you had before the incident. A person appears suddenly, and startles you into almost dropping the eye. When you look through the eye again, you just see through to the other side.

You're not sure what just happened. You've heard of trapped magic causing images, but nothing to an extent like that.

You look through the other side. You don't see anything again... Perhaps that was a one time thing?

You hope you didn't use up the enchantment or something...

>Try to remember that house.

You try, but its almost like it was...generic, even. What stood out most was the kitchen- It had some odd appliances you've only seen at use at your old place. They worked through... electricity, Yukari called it? Other than that, there was just a table. You'd guess it was a room attached to the kitchen to eat in.

>"How much for this?"

You know Ran loved her Tofu, but a grand assortment of foods were cooked and made. You remember this mix match of meat and vegetables Yukari called 'Stir-fry'. Admittedly, you tended to try and catch things and cook them the old-fashioned way, yourself.

Tokiko taps her chin for a moment. "Three Credits, it is probably one-use, if pretty powerful."

Tokiko nods and rings your purchase up.

You try, and only happen to invoke a few spots of liquid in your eyes. You wipe them away before Aya or Tokiko notice, luckily.

You miss those days. Rather badly, really.

> Examine Penguin Puppet.

You kind of flipped out when you saw it come into view, so you don't really know. You're fairly sure it couldn't be someone you know, though.

>Familiar Combinae
"I'm surprised Kourin actually found one of these. On top of being rare, They tend to break rather easily... They're pretty powerful in the right hands, though."

>Penguin Puppet
Its... a penguin with extremely large eyebrows. You're not sure why. Its a plush one, though.

> Obtain Info on the Labyrinth Pack
> Obtain Info on the Green Star

>Labyrinth Pack
Not an item, but rather a pick of items from that labyrinth everyone traveled through. You suppose leaving Rinnosuke in charge of the items led to this.

"I can't say I'll be impartial, but I assure you I won't jip you on what I pick. It is a pretty high price to get a bunch of crap at. Our reputation would be ruined! Oh, we're offering at three per pack, currently."

>Green Star
You're not actually sure what this is! Tokiko claims it is a weapon that shoots things. It is however, pretty green and has a star on it. You're not sure you could use this.

"All I know is its supposed to shoot pieces of metal, according to the boss. I can't find where you'd put the ammo in though..."

Not that you can tell, sadly.

Tokiko ponders for a second. "I'd say four credits."

Maybe. Though, you have no idea what this chalice will grant.

A potential dragon-land shark hybrid would assure our victory against Marisa. WE CAN CURBSTOMP HER AND GET REVEEEEEENGE! It's not like the familiars vanish or anything. They just fuse into a more superior being. No death involved! (except for anyone who we sic said dragon shark on.)
