You sip in sheer bliss. Delicious.

It takes a lot of willpower to not down the whole thing, but you manage to savor it a bit.

You drop to a whisper and explain. Mystia nods sagely. "While I'm sure Mrs. Owl will see the benefits of the situations, and the Songbird Squad only seem to have good intentions... The Vultures will probably be trouble. They've tried stupider raids, Wriggle kicked them out right nicely when they tried to take the Forest of Magic back. The worst The Banban would do is try and challenge a few humans, shes mostly harmless. ...That raven, even I can't read.

The vultures are pretty weak though. The only issue would be if they actually thought and used their numbers- Even all at once, I've a feeling Keine would just crash straight through them. Really, they're kind of a joke. The Songbird Squad is usually shown in comparison though, and nice as they are, they don't have the numbers to make a good stance against them."

Mystia nods. "That is exactly it. NO ONE properly knows who she is. Shes come by for a meal or two when she says shes busy, but she sets in a booth by her own and no one dares talk to her. Not even me."

Aya pumps her camera into the air. "Which is exactly why I'm going to interview her!" This elicts a sigh from Mystia. "I told you, you shouldn't.".

>Durned Tengu hearing.
>"Is she very dangerous? I assume she's got some influence or power if she's gotten that infamous."

Mystia shrugs. "Once again, that is mostly it. She frightens everyone, but no one actually KNOWS how strong she is. It doesn't help getting to her place is fairly hazardous with a few traps she picked up from a magician youkai.

The best quoted incident is the fact The Banban still hasn't gone after her. Some suppose she outright failed to reach the house. You can't find her hunting, as well. Not even Mrs. Owl has seen her out hunting. Either she doesn't, which in itself suggests she has something or someone doing it, or she is just that good at eluding people."

"Very easily. She is pretty suspicious."

Mystia nods. "Even us. Birds or not, we still use a bit of magic to fly. Around her house... There is... Well. A zone with absolutely no magic in it, Chen. Nothing. It's effectively -dead-. Not to mention a lot of her traps seem to not need magic to run..."

Unfortunately, the whole rubber band aspect tends to ruin that idea...

> Do the contracts we have need magic to stay outside?

You'd imagine. Familiars are very close to actual magic. Unless one 'ascends' of sorts to a Youkai, their body might end up degrading around them without any magic.

Mystia nods. "Most likely, if she causes an incident, that'll be something to worry about then.

You glance at Aya. She appears to have a half-eaten meal in front of her, but shes also fiddling with her camera joyously. It doesn't look like its been touched in ages. Didn't Suika mention something about that?

You thank Mystia. You already let her know about the shrine maiden, though.

You manage to drag Aya over here.

Aya blinks. "What? Oh. Its just an interview, I've managed to have everyone take one before. I don't see what the harm of it is. ...as for that new shrine maiden, I may have to stop by the Hakurei Shrine later..."
