...I saw a cabinet for it about a year and a half ago at a now-closed local arcade, I regret never trying it out.

My GameCube's in storage and I haven't got a working controller for it anyway, though.

One of my favourite Sega fighters.

Or at least, that's how it was over here. Not sure how it turned out in America, but from what I hear it probably suffered a similar fate.

Which is kind of sad, really, as I kind of see this as almost a spiritual predecessor to things like Smash Bros. I guess it'd be nice if it got more recognition than it did, but oh well.

Very similar yes, but it lacks the armour mechanics of Fighting Vipers.

Fighters Megamix is cool too, though the Daytona USA car as a playable character is funny.
