How to install DotS:

1. Maps and Modelpack

First of all download the map "THDotS_991r_Eng_v8.w3x" and the Model pack "THDotS Model Pack0009fix.zip"
Copy the map into the Warcraft III Maps folder (..\Warcraft III\Maps\) and extract the Model Pack right into your Warcraft III Installation Folder (path should be something like ..\Warcraft III\THDotS\)

2. Allow Local Files
Since DotS uses external models to reduce the size of the actual map, you have to enable this local files in your registry.
- Go "Start --> Run" write "regedit" end press enter.
- Follow the registry tree to following subtree:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Warcraft III]
- Create a new "DWORD", name it "Allow Local Files" and set it to 1
- Also make sure that "GamePath", "InstallPath", and "Program" has the correct path to your

Note: If you don't have this registry folder, google how to fix a ripped warcraft 3 installation :wat: I won't help you with that.

3. Start Warcraft 3
and open the map in a custom game to see if you can see the models.

Since this is a custom server, WC3 cannot connect to it directly.

Not that we ever get more than 7 people

- "LoL"ification
Basically lots of shitty items and Stat Scaling abilitys. Also: Magic Penetration (AP Carry)

- New game modes "Narrow Lane"
Basically 2 Lane really close together, for some short games. You start with LVL 4


- Many new Girls
Just look at them!


- Weather

Welcome to about two years ago, where we had a somewhat thriving DotS community who played it all the time.
