Genji smiles a turtle smile. "Well, I admit, I didn't expect 10 ponds to show up, myself. Ah." Genji taps the water below him. "Miss, You should probably be able to come out now. The Hakurei shrine has enough Faith for you to get some fresh Air. ...Oh, you're having trouble navigating now? I see."

You wave into the pond! You're pretty sure she heard you. Maybe.

>Climb down from the spire.

You bid Genji farewell and head down the spire to the main shrine.

> Look for Sanae, and if you notice her, say hi to her and welcome her to the Hakurei Shrine.

You don't see her, you suppose it'll be a while before she gets used to things.

You don't think they've left quite yet, seeing as the barrier is still up. You've got some time to prepare things for when the barrier comes down.

> If no one has arrived, head for the Underground to tell them of the new shrine maiden.

You head to the underground! You're not greeted by spiders, but you imagine they're cleaning up quite a mess.

>Have a look around, try to find some of the residents.

You head through the tunnels, you eventually find a few spiders, who lead you to where Yamame is. Kisume is in a bed next to her, sleeping still. Yamame greets you.

Yamame shrugs. "Can't complain. And that is good news, that should mean the border will strengthen, right?" ...You know, something there seems odd.

>"Also, the humans are about to open their borders. It might not be a bad idea to visit in the next few days and set up some good relations. And I nearly got convicted for a murder that never happened."

Yamame taps her chin. "...It'd be a good idea. We've made ourselves scarce, but I suppose the time to make friendly would best be now. But how did that murder thing go down?"

Yamame chuckles. "S'a shame sister nightbug is so weak minded, then."

The last part was out of quotation marks, Yamame didn't say that.

Yamame frowns. "I suppose I'll keep that in mind, but it burns me up! That kills the chances of tourism, you know! 'And here is the pit where an ancient evil is stored to eat your soul. By the way, you have to get across it.' Who'd visit somewhere like that!"

You make a mental note to not mention this to Cirno.

Yamame nods. "Please do. We'll probably be able to web the hole up and keep it quiet that way..."

Not since you've learned the terrible secret of space.
