Suddenly, PC-98 characters!

Chicks dig giant robots.

I love Sara and Luize so much that I made them the protaganists of a fic I was posting on Poosh at one point. If I ever get around to continuing it, I'll have to post it here too~

I'm not entirely sure why, but I love Orange's design. Such a shame she gets so little attention, really...

Ruukoto is the best maid in the series~ No, seriously~

Okay, so she's not a PC-98 character, but Rin Satsuki desperately needs more love. Also, this picture is awesome and I need to spam it everywhere.

Appraisal tiems!

1 - Not bad. Extra points for AWESOME waves.

2 - I kinda like the idea of what's attempted to be encapsulated here, but the execution's kinda weak. Suwako sorta kills it and "utsuho" is a little, I dunno, out of place, since she's not necessarily Kanako's servant (so far)

3 -phail, that's a look that simply does not go with Suwako at all.

4 - NOW WE'RE TALKING!

5 - EPIC PHAIL.

6 - Kinda meh. No 1 is better.

7 - Shinki's awesome but the pic is kinda plain. And the tilted dutch angle fails to disguise the fact.

Sigh, everyone's a critic... Personally I always thought Suwako's ZUNart made her look, if anything, older than Kanako. That combined with the fact that she's the only canonical mother (let alone great-great-whatever-grandmother) in the series always made it seem weird to me that she's usually protrayed as a little girl.

Then again, the record has shown that I'm completely insane, so feel free to ignore this opinion.

Anyway...

I actually agree with you there and also find it a very badly explained story how Suwako just surrendered and lived all this time under Kanako. So, yeah, she had a specific counter for one of her fave spells, but I'd say Suwako is clearly the most hardcore of them. I'd like it if suddenly she did something that made obvious Kanako's a sock puppet.

As for your new batch: I kinda stay away from the PC98 games and will know very little about Yorihime to give a proper opinion. But art-wise I like the first one and the one that has her slashing through space although her stance is very very weird. Shinki one's not bad but I'd say it's too bright and Shinki herself needed to be bigger in the pic.
From Hele the first one is epich phail, but the second one managed to actually trigger my kewt senses, so I'm gonna let it slip away. Third has an awesome Sakuya but Reimu is kinda, I dunno, weird. With that pose and that smile maybe a Marisa or Remi would feel better. Hi-res would make for an awesome wallpaper but it's kinda too bright and the bastard just HAD to put his sig on the bottom *sigh*.

Suwako Spam:
First one, not bad. Second one has an art that suddenly doesn't go very well with me, but I like the idea. Third one is kinda lol-phail. But fourth is good and fifth is another one of "THAT'S my girl"

I know =.= There isn't much great Shiki Eiki-sama pictures out there. Only the one I got as my desktop. And Sakuya looks pretty badass in there, but Reimu is acting . . . not herself. She should have a badass bitch look on her face and in her eyes. Then we are talking.

My comments on the 4koma, in their proper order:
1st: Quite adorable. Even if I don't have the ability to read Japanese, I can easily tell that happy Sakuya is happy.
2nd: Remilia's scarier face is obviously seen in the 4th koma. Poor Meiling/Meirin/what-have-you-that-is-not-a-country-or-type-of-ceramics.
3rd: I really feel sorry for Patchouli here. I really do. And hope she recovers prior to the 4th 4koma.
4th: Sibling rivalry? Even though they look ready to destroy something quickly in the 4th panel, it's still cute.
Altogether: Please tell me you have a source, and if so please tell it to me (and if it's an imageboard, the author of the piece). I enjoyed viewing these 4koma; as with many good sources of humor, you don't always need to understand the dialogue to enjoy the humor. Or to simply enjoy them.

Inclined to agree, even though I was not quite inclined to be the first to mention it.

Also, @ Helepolis: Thanks for the source; even if the artist only has one other image on 'booru, I can still look at the notes and actually realize the full humor of the 1st 4koma.

Despite some humor being universal, dialogue certainly does add to a joke more often than not.
