trancell/Cielle, 30/Act II, Engineer :3

Just about the only complaint I have probably stems from my laptop being all "eh" and that is sometimes I get massive framerate drops from time to time, but I deal with it usually. Also levels come by really quickly in this game. Just saying.

They somehow managed to delay the launch of their game until the day Borderlands 2 came out.  :|

Well, yeah, they did.

But on the bright side the entire game feels super polished. Net code is amazing; I play perfect with Tapsa, who's in Finland. No weird skill animation deficiencies, no lag, no anything beyond my own internet failures as of now. It's also super hard to break your character; I have nine wasted skill points right now and I'm wrecking face easy. The gameplay also really motivates you to keep going with how often good drops are. And the post-game content is really interesting, imo.

Oh, word of advice. When gambling? The uniques/set pieces are the ones that are like 1000 more than other items of the same class. So just reload til you find one. :>

I like how you can opt to get your ass kicked immediately by starting a character in Elite difficulty rather than making you slog your way through 3 times of the same game before getting difficult.

My highest embermage is only 26 at the moment in Act 2, though she'll probably get to level 30 or so tonight. It'll be cool to join in some games if you need some magma spear chucking :>

Talk to the horse btw.

ephyx/Apollo 39/Act III Outlander

Abandoning my 20% life steal set where I just chaos bolt vamped everything was the toughest decision I have made yet. Even harder than abandoning my shield + pistol combo which gave me 30% block and 30% dodge and a pretty good dps.
The game is also actually hard. I remember in the first game I went around and did quests and ended up being 5-6 levels higher than everything. I can now say that it takes more than one shot to kill something; most of the time.

My friend pretty much trashed Elite on his Outlander, though. o.o;

I'm playing on Veteran myself, as a supportive Engie, and I'm still destroying everything, though bosses take a bit longer than DPS classes because my only source of damage is Spider Mines+Gun Bot as of now, since I'm not yet level 42 and can't get SLEDGE BOT.

I should also add that Forcefield + Heal Bot = you're only using pots if bosses burst past the Forcefield, or you're dumb and didn't dodge the danmaku. :V

Spent the morning two-manning an early chunk of the game as a defense-shredding Outlander coupled with a friend's berserker.  God this game is a blast... I seriously haven't had this much fun since my first time going through Diablo II.

Once you get good enough equips and higher level chaos bolt/shadow shot then it's trashing. Main problem is that if I get hit, I get hit for a lot, otherwise 600 damage chaos bolts everywhere.

Then don't get hit!

Oh I try not to. But you know those spike/saw traps on the ground which activate and hit you for a billion damage? Those are the bane of my existence.

It was pretty hilarious to watch my friend die multiple times during the Alchemist fight while I just sat there with my heal bot (turned it down to veteran, but he still died fairly quickly).  The fire grates are hella annoying on elite though, can't even swing my greathammer once without losing over 3k life.

Unrelated pic.

I'm still way early yet - I have too many gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaames to play - but:

ArashiKurobara/Tempest/Outlander/I wanna say just level 7 yet, I basically just played a little bit one night and did a sidequest and I'm at the first waypoint :V

And I plan to at least make an Engineer at some point too, mostly likely that will be named Arashi.

First legendary drop.
Oh drat, I see that there's a tier above Unique

Suddenly finding like four uniques already seems less overwhelming (Three of them were for Alchemists anyway D:< )

Only weapons can be legendary though so the best armour are still unique sets.

Went ahead and got to lvl 56 and NG+. Finished the Sollima set (Cold Vengeance, Hot Vengeance and a Pistolling Jacket thing) and I love it, 100% execute chance on my crit build? Yes please.
I play too much. But then again I spend half the time gambling. Just have to find the final piece of the Dwarfking set and I'll have the entirety of that set too. Welcome to grinding 101.

I'm hoping to pick up that Sollima set too for my DotS Tewi character.

Also started an Eientei Tewi, engineer two-hander hammers only.

Started an elite embermage and got her up to level 16 so far.

6 player co-op is pretty rough, even more so when people aren't terribly coordinated. Monsters get some sort of damage bonus, which means that even with some vit pumping, my embermage went from "can take a hit or two before having to retreat" to "ohshi- Grell is looking in my direction gtfo nao".

When it works, it's really fun though. I think I'll be playing my elite embermage as my main and do skill experiments with my normal one instead.

So, got Torchlight 2 yesterday and just started really playing today and being new to Torchlight, I decided to start the game on Elite :V

Anyway, I'm doing good so far on my Outlander, just mainly doing hit and runs and letting my pet tank for me. I've had a few deaths but didn't really lose that much. The only regret I have so far is being confused with what to do in a phase portal and exiting before I completed whatever it is I was supposed to do and now the portals gone.....

Also, I kinda wish there was some type of grinding like in Diablo 2....I just want to farm money for identifying scrolls and town portal , darn those things are expensive early on....

Create LAN/Internet game, check reroll world.

That's how you do dungeon and boss runs to grind or farm.
