You need to move the entire RTP, all graphics and sound files, into the actual game folder.
The small dots in the resource database should turn red for all sprites, sounds, etc.

Then you can disable the RTP dependancy under Game -> Select RTP... (Change Standard to None)
After that you export it with File -> Compress Game Data...
You can choose to encrypt it so no one can edit it but I'd only recommend that for the final release.

Also, do you mind if I mess with your menu script a little?

Let's see... the version I have is "RPGXP 1.02a, Ruby Version 1.81, Scintilla Version 1.58, libogg/libvorbis Version 1.0". Not sure if that's the most current version.

Hmm, that's the original version. Maybe it decided not to install some dll files or something.
Can you open your own projects?

Maybe compare the two games and see if any file (other than the graphics and audio files) is missing.
That's pretty much the last I can think of. It's running fine for me and I never had that problem before, so, yeah...
If that's not it you might want to check an RPG Maker forum and post the problem there...

I've been keeping an eye on this and really want to give it a try. But either I'm doing something stupid or I just can't get it to work.

I've got your most recent update and the file you said was needed to play it, but now it says...

"RGSS-RTP Standard not found."

Help.  :ohdear:

Waaarp~! xD

You have to go to Game -> Select RTP... and change Standard RTP to None.
Don't forget the most important part, you.

Work continues on the game. I plan on making version 0.11 the events, quests and non combat update after neglecting those areas for so long. I have already added three new events and I am working on the first new quest. All I can say is that when Wriggle gives a letter, dare to be stupid.

Thank you for the newest version of this game! Happy to see it has come out, and looking forward to the next one (especially since it will apparently contain an event involving Wriggle ^_^ )

Um, on a negative note, I am sure you are aware that characters? skills a little messed up. Reimu, Sakuya and Cirno start with powerful (0 stamina cost, all-target, much stronger then normal attack) Princess Undine, although none of them supposedly have a talent for magic that Magicians use, so they wouldn?t likely be able to use it even in unlikely case if Patchouli would try to teach it to them.
Marisa also start with Princess Undine skill, although in her case it can be excused (after all, she has canonically stolen/learned Non-Directional Laser from Patchouli), although it still appears out of place among Marisa?s laser/star-themed spells, so I personally doubt Marisa would actually use Princess Undine even if she happened to steal a book containing that spell (it?s not like Marisa lacks powerful spells of her own).
Either way, I believe Princess Undine should have at least 10 stamina cost. As it is right now, it is rather powerful, allowing you to kill faeries (and later, stronger enemies as well, I am sure) with extreme ease, making normal attacks completely useless since better in every way Princess Undine doesn?t cost stamina anyway.
Aya starts with Youmu?s skills and flight, and Cirno still have Youmu?s ?Weapon Skill? (which doesn?t seem to do anything) in addition to her own skill and Princess Undine.
Sanae?s skills are also weird. She begins with (Aya?s?) Wind God?s Retribution (which Aya herself doesn?t seem to have, at least not to begin with) and Reimu?s Holy Amulet. After event involving Kanako and Suwako her skills change to Princess Undine instead. You also seem to need to equip and then unequip your starting weapon to get Kanako?s Wind Serpent or Suwako?s Turbulent Frog-style.
I also experienced a strange case with Sakuya and Marisa where their own skill (Knife Throw for Sakuya, Laser for Marisa) wouldn?t appear among your skill until your first battle. I am not sure what triggers it.

Also, another bug is that if you start as Youmu, there is ?another? Youmu in Neitherworld?

On a positive side, I can finally enter Temple of Myouren and happy to see that problem resolved.

Fixed the princess undine problem. It was orginally a skill for Patchouli but I had it not only figured for main character use but I also used the version that Patchouli as an enemy had not the recruitable version.

Thank you for your work, Warpshadow-san.

Looking forward to the next version of your game, which will hopefully have skill fixes, among other things (hopefully along with final fixing touches to Cirno and Aya's inventory and skills).

P.S.

On a matter of skills, Crino is currently the only playable charcter (beside Aya, whose skills aren't implemented yet) who starts with non-damaging skill (in fact, I am not quite sure what does her Freezing Cloud do at all). Perhaps this could be changed in the next version and she could be given a damage-dealing skill in addition to/instead of Freezing Cloud? (Especially considering that Cirno is likely to spend her time fighting, not growing crops or making amulets.)

No problem. As for Cirno's first skill I wanted it to be based off of the freezing cloud attack in fairy wars (the one you press the z button for) and after playing that again I realize that skill is going to need tweaking.

First off all for those that have been waiting for version 0.11 I am sorry for not updating but other things have come up.

I am currently using the next version of the games to primarily focus on new quests and such for the game. As such I would be really interested in knowing what characters you tend to play when playing the game and where you would like me to focus my attention.

I know I haven't been working on the game in ages but I have decided to pick it up again. It's still a while before I have done enough work to make version 0.11 worth bringing out but I want to add a bunch of sidequests for the game as well as make some of the newer scenarios more playable. Any input that you can give me is appreciated.

I am willing to accept any help you wish to provide. However my goals for the game right now are to Provide more stuff to do, particularly for Youmu, Aya and Cirno as well as draw more of the Touhou cast into the game instead of having them stand there with the possibly of fighting them if you are so inclined.. I also want to add sprites for the windows 98 characters as well as the Touhou 13 cast when that comes out. I am fairly confident in my ability to create events but the problem is that I often run out of ideas.

I can't draw at all. :P
Ideas, however, I have plenty. But I don't want to 'take over' the project story-wise.
If you're stuck on something, just tell and I'll see if I can think of anything. :P
