Title: Subterranean Escape! - Looking for Composers & Testers!
Post by: Twizz on May 25, 2019, 07:26:12 PM
Subterranean Escape!

A Touhou-Based game where spirits are escaping the underground depths, and it's up to our protagonists to figure out what's going on and to bring these spirits back.

Below are attached images of a stage with other characters drawn.

We are looking for composers willing to make music for the stages and boss scenes and testers to test out difficulties and bullet patterns (and extra artists/sprite makers). If interested, you can message me on here, or through discord: twizzy#0281

Please note: all images are not final. Most contain fillers and images found online and will be replaced later.

Ohoh,"Touhou Subterannean Escape"! So to say "Rescue Undergrounder"
I cannot help technically, artistically or ,in general, savvily ,except indirectly to a certain extent perphaps(?).
Thanks for your work and  for the heads-up to check it out sooner or later, though fairly soon is better personally and objectively but not in a  rushed way;  well the important bits need to be insightful so delays are understandable for true quality+polishing of content.

I hope, I might be useful for testing, but I seriously doubt in my artistic skills being helpful. What would be the best way to test them?
Oh, I know that it's not final version, but the checkered pattern looks inconsistent around the stained glass windows.

All of Orin's Danmaku  in her checkered pattern in your 1st screenshot are mostly-transparent on the Stained Yatagarasu Glass Window   ,and I am assuming even more while  playing, particulary so the Blue Arrowheads  :sword!: :flowerpower: .

Do you mean trying to make bullet sprites for player, which will stand out on window-like background even with strong amount of alpha-channel?
I think, I shall do what I can.

I'm really sorry for such a protraction. Real life seriously reared it's ugly head. It actually should take so much less time for me, not more than a couple of hours.

This seems fitting quite well. While retaining similar to the current background pallet, this sprite could be seen even better with different dominating hues. Thus you might even wish to increase amount of alpha channel.

Bumping for help from a good Japanese speaker since I'm only getting introduced to N4.
We'd like to translate the title at least for sake of its presence on the frame and in the main menu.
Does "地獄から漏!" look as a proper translation of "Subterranean Escape!"?
