Title: Touhou Translations and Requests Three
Post by: DarkMarxSoul on July 22, 2012, 04:47:38 AM
So both of the previous threads got locked, probably for inactivity, and there needs to be a place to go for these sorts of things, I think. I don't know how to translate Japanese, so I guess this is just me drawing attention so I can get some stuff translated. ^^;

There's this Touhou Danmakufu game out now. It's got the standard six stages and stuff, and it seems pretty awesome, but lacks an Extra stage and any difficulty settings besides Normal. Either way, it's really cool and is based heavily on the holy Bible. However, I don't know what any of its songs mean, so that's what I would like translated. I'll list them all here in order of their appearance, starting with the name of the game itself, followed by each stage and boss, the ending theme, and the credits theme. Hope you guys can help me out, and hope you can get some use out of this sort of thread again.

東方邪星章 ~ The Last Comer (Game Title)

星の夢見 ~ Eastern Celesphere (Title Screen)

Celestial Burst (Stage 4)

明朝を覆う明星 (Boss 4)

印のある者は山へ (Stage 5)

燦々サン・ミシェル (Boss 5)

幻想ヴィア・ドロローサ (Stage 6)

人類救済計画 ~ The Greatest Salvation (Boss 6)

異教の神々 (Ending)

明朝を照らす明星 (Staff Roll)

Well, today I'm with a new computer without dictionary, tomorrow I'll try to translate more, feel free to correct anything that is wrong:

星の夢見 ~ Eastern Celesphere (Title Screen) -> Dreams of a planet/star
色褪せぬ紅の記憶 (Stage 2) -> Remembrances of a colorful ( color that not fade off ) rainbow
賢人のプラネタリズム (Stage 3) -> The wise man's planetarium
印のある者は山へ (Stage 5) -> The man who has a seal goes to the mountain
幻想ヴィア・ドロローサ (Stage 6) -> Illusionary Via Dolorosa ( cool name :P )

Stage 3 エンシェントスターゲイザー> Ancient Star Gazer
Stage 2 フィリニオンの復活ー>  Fierion Resurrection

Translating katakana is pretty tricky so the 2nd one could most likely be wrong but I'm pretty sure I got the first part right.

The ones for stage 2 and 5 seem a tad odd and wordy. I imagine the meaning for "colourful" in brackets is something we don't have in English, so that's okay, but stage 5's seems...long.

Thanks for the quick response though! A good chunk of the titles are done. :)

Hello, well sometimes japanese describes something using a verb but in english looks better to use an adjective, like that colorful, otherwise the phrase will become longer :P, and that stage 5 you can change to "The sealed man goes to the mountain". Anyway more translations, feel free to change anything:

東方邪星章 ~ The Last Comer (Game Title) -> Oriental wicked star's badge/medal
厄星の揺籠 (Stage 1) -> Misfortune star's cradle
妖星に踊る羊精 (Boss 1) -> Dancing sheep spirits in the calamity star
邪星の宴 ~ Celestial Burst (Stage 4) -> Wicked star's banquet
明朝を覆う明星 (Boss 4) -> The morning star that hides the tomorrow morning
燦々サン・ミシェル  -> Bright San Michael (someone check the katakana part :) )
人類救済計画 ~ The Greatest Salvation (Boss 6) -> Mankind salvation plan
異教の神々 (Ending) -> Paganism's Gods
明朝を照らす明星 (Staff Roll) -> The morning star that illuminates the tomorrow morning

It's possible the "san" you have in boss 5's music is the way they say "Saint", since the archangel Michael that the boss is based off of is often called Saint Michael. So calling the song "Bright Saint Michael" fits perfectly.

Thank you guys, that's all of them. You're so great for getting to me so fast. ;_;

I hope if anyone else has anything they want to translate they can use this thread to get it done.

Okay so now that all the songs are done I sort of want to know what the story's all about. Not sure if I'll get any takers on this. It's kind of long. The game is really cool and it'd be nice to know more about it. There are links on the developers' blog which detail the story.

It's a big thing. I do hope someone could do it. It's a really interesting game. The developers' blog even has the Danmakufu script and soundtrack if you poke around enough.

Are you planning to create a patch to translate it or just translating to know what each part means? I downloaded the game at the official blog http://th-jss.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/ (http://th-jss.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/) and it is pretty fun, a lot of cool spell cards, but it crashed after I lose all my lifes :P

I don't know how to patch, so it's just to know what it means. All that stuff I sent was just the supplementary material anyway. If I knew how to patch I'd do it, but I can't. :'D

There's a patch the people put out that fixes the continuing crash. Gotta download that too. o3o

Since this is a thread for translation requests, is some brave soul willing to translate the third track of Otaku Elite Recording's Ruby and Aquamarine? Track title is 月夜に二人で翔け出す程度の能力 and it's a Love Colored Master Spark flavored version of IOSYS' 月夜を二人で抜け出す程度の能力.

Hmmm Arcorann can you give the context of this phrase, this always help in translations.
For now I can only read two separeted parts but I can't join them making sense :P
星柱が立って = Set up a stellar/planetary pillar
実に縁起が良いぜ? = Actually is the origin good ze?

I'd say "omen" is better than "origin" in that case.

Pillar Star/Stellar Pillar could refer to a comet, which are often seen as both good and bad omens.

How about "Actually is a good omen to rise a stellar/planetary pillar?" ?

According to my jap dic, the "rise" word can have the following means: " stand up, rise, set up, erect"

Might I ask why you translated this in that particular way?  I would have translated it as 'Memories of Unfading Crimson,' so I'm not sure where you're getting rainbow from xD

I am relatively new to the translation scene so I would not be surprised if I am missing something :x

I felt like I needed a way to practice my Japanese, so I figured I'd give those links up there a shot.

Keep in mind this is my first time translating a text of length any longer than one line aside from things like...patch notes...so I cannot guarantee any level of accuracy!  Hopefully it is good enough to atleast give you a feel of what is going on though.  Stuff in square brackets are things that I was very unsure of/mostly guessed on, Asterisks mean there is a note about it at the end.

I've only done the backstory one for now, as the feeling strikes me I will work on the others assuming I don't get chased out of here for sucking too bad at it 8D

Quote
The long severe winter came to an end, and Gensokyo's season of awakening arrived.
The cherry blossoms that finally began to bloom among the faintly lingering snow would likely serve as an appropriate companion for a great banquet even the next day. The Hakurei Shrine's shrine maiden, Hakurei Reimu,  would in short order be worrying about the thought of those nefarious people causing an uproar on the Shrine Grounds, while the coming warm spring and the dancing cherry blossoms brought excitement.

In the early dawn of the next day, a meteorite fell from the sky into Gensokyo, setting fire to the forest and the cherry trees.

Reimu: Of course I wished for a warm spring of dancing cherry blossoms, but I think this is a little bit much.
Marisa: Ame no Kagaseo* is really going all out this time, don't you think?
[When did you think it was coming?]
Kirisame Marisa pointed at the sky, which was growing light as she spoke.

[Normally, at the beginning of the year Reimu would have borrowed the power of Amaterasu to exorcise Ame no Kagaseo.  On that night, the morning star was shining brilliantly, to the point it looked as if it was noon.]
And so, overcoming the sun with the darkness of night - it was an omen that meant the power of the Youkai would increase.

The place where the devil lives, the Scarlet Devil Mansion.

At the same time, the residents of the world of the night went out with great joy to welcome the event.

Remilia: This time! This time it's the Morning Star's* victory!
Patchy: This time the age of darkness has come, huh? -cough cough-
Sakuya: I wonder.  Last time it was just premature joy because of a group of fools .

In contrast to her two masters who were forgetting themselves in joy, the head maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, Izayoi Sakuya, watched the evil star with an air of composure, continuing to watch skeptically until the end.  That was because, due to a prank carried out by Marisa and the Fairies, the same kind of thing had happened in years past.
At that time, putting Remilia back into a good mood, who had been disappointed upon learning the truth, had been quite the hardship.

Remilia: It's fine, this time a meteor fell as well, right?  This is something a mere human wouldn't be able to pull off.

The unexpectedly composed master gave an order to Sakuya, who was impressed with her words.  Since she couldn't go out under the sunlight, Sakuya would go in her place to determine the true nature of this unusual phenomenon.
And also, to stop the Hakurei Shrine Maiden and her friends from taking back the power of the Daytime and the Sun.

The Shrine Maiden of the Sun, the Witch of the Stars, and the Maid of the Full Moon.  As if in competition, the three humans took off to the forest where the Meteorite had fallen.

The World of Darkness was filled with the light of the stars.  That light dispels the darkness before your eyes, but at the same time gives birth to new shadows in the distance.  That is the chaos of Yin and Yang, the indivisible pair.
In a place with light, there is darkness.  Even in a world of darkness, the light is sure to come...

"She" knew that.

*According to Wikipedia: Ame no Kagaseo (Amatsu Mikaboshi) is a god of evil and the stars, specifically the Pole Star in Japanese Mythology.  His name (Ame no Kagaseo) translates to "Brilliant Male," and his alternate name (Amatsu Mikaboshi) translates to "August Star of Heaven."

*In the original text, the Kanji given for Remilia's line say 'The Morning Star' (referring to Venus in the Eastern Morning Sky), but the kanji are followed by a note that would normally be in furigana (simpler characters above the kanji to serve as a pronunciation guide) telling the reader to read the Kanji as 'Lucifer.'  As a side note, according to Christian Mythology, before being cast out of heaven, the devil was named 'Lucifer of the Morning Star.'

Ooops, I made a mistake, I changed 虹 for 紅 :P So your translation looks good for me. The rest of phrase is just an adaption question, so for me there is no problem to change "colorful" by "unfading".

TwilightsCall, that is absolutely fantastic! I can't translate Japanese or I'd have done it myself, but it seems to flow very nicely and makes perfect sense in the context of what I assume the story is. I look forward to the rest of the backstories, and you have my most sincere thanks. :D

Like I said, it's from Concealed the Conclusion Phantasm. Here's a bit of the dialogue around it, with the wiki's translations:

Reimu:
?そうね
(Yeah.)
っと、じゃあこの辺で一服しましょうか
(Well, then, shall we have a cup of tea?)

Marisa:
いいぜ、ちょっとはしゃぎ過ぎて
飛ばしまくってたからな
(Sounds good. I'm pretty worn out from flying around already.)
本日のメニューは
とびっきり濃い目の弾幕茶なんてどうだ?
(For today's menu, how about some exquisite, strong danmaku tea?)
星柱が立って実に縁起が良いぜ?
(???)
Reimu:
奢ってくれるからには私も
それなりの見返りを用意しないとね
(For such a treat I will have to prepare something fitting in return as well.)

I intend to incorporate a version of this translation into the CtC English patch, by the way.

... Speaking of which, there are still large portions of Concealed the Conclusion's text untranslated. For starters, if someone could do a full translation of the prologue that would be greatly appreciated (the wiki's still inconsistent on whether the shrine was locked up or not).

I want to say something along the lines of  "The rise of the North Star is really a good omen," but I'm not sure if I can stretch 星柱 to mean Pole Star like I did :x

I haven't been able to find any reference to the word 星柱, even on the Japanese Wikipedia, so I have no idea if I'm using it right at all.  But assuming that's what it means, I changed it to 'North Star' because its the only Pole Star that exists at the moment as far as the Earth is concerned, and it probably means a lot more to people then the term 'Pole Star' would.

If 星柱 doesn't mean what I think it does, then.... :V

本日のメニューは
とびっきり濃い目の弾幕茶なんてどうだ?
(For today's menu, how about some exquisite, strong danmaku tea?)
星柱が立って実に縁起が良いぜ?
So kind of like how we think that finding 4 leaf clovers spells out good luck, the Japanese have this thing where if you pour tea and the tea stalk is standing, then it's an omen of good luck. Kind of like this (http://a1.smlycdn.com/data/product2/1/a92cc578d3d8169cb6c01601945717c35f4ee62e_m.jpg), and here's an example from Inaba of the Moon/Earth (http://i1223.photobucket.com/albums/dd511/EdibleGhost/TeaPillarChabashiraTewi.jpg).
Anyway, this is called 茶柱 chabashira, or tea pillar/column. See where I'm going with this?
Marisa makes the initial strange suggestion of danmaku tea, and then follows up with this, the 星柱 star pillar/column.

Since the original idea itself is rather foreign to (I'd assume) most of the English fanbase, I think it's a 'lost in translation' kind of thing.
Title: Re: Touhou Translations and Requests Three

...lost in translation indeed, lol.

Well, the more you know I guess xD

Here's the second link translated, same disclaimer as before.

Quote from: Touhou Jaseishou Character Backstories
The Shrine Maiden of the Sun
Hakurei Reimu
Human/Ablility to the extent of Flying Through the Sky

The same well-known Shrine Maiden as every time before.  The shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine.

Borrowing the power of Amaterasu-Oomikami*, she was suppressing the Morning Star.
If the star which acts as a symbol of the night shines brighly in the middle of the day, the youkai who depend on darkness in Gensokyo would gain strength.
To the Shrine Maiden, whose occupation is the extermination of Youkai, there is no situation as inconvenient as this.
The Hakurei Shrine maiden who long ago solved a very incident-like incident so splendidly, will now show her magnificence.
The Offertory box that took in nothing but rain water and dust was sufficient reason for her to get serious.

Witch of the Stars
Kirisame Marisa
Human/Ability to the extent of Using Magic

The ordinary witch living in Gensokyo.  She has a habit of collecting things.

To Marisa, the fact that the Morning Star was shining so brightly was not that serious of an event.
More then that, the meteorite which had fallen within her reach pulled strongly on her interest as a collector of rare articles.
With Gensokyo cut off from the outside world, and her vigorous thirst for knowledge, objects that sometimes come in from the outside world were like a gift from God.
[In comparison to that, this was surely a great incident that would shake Gensokyo.]

Head Maid of the Moon
Izayoi Sakuya
Human/Ability to the extent of Manipulating Time

The Scarlet Devil Mansion's elegant Servant.  Due to the orders of her master Remilia Scarlet, she rises up to solve an incident for the first time in a long time.

To Remilia, who lives in the night, the shining Morning Star was something that should be welcomed.  Therefore, Sakuya received orders to stand in the way of the shrine maiden and her friends who sought to take back the world of day and light.
"So, 'The danger is past and God is forgotten' is something like this."  Even though she dared to think this way, she stayed silent.
Even if things are left as they are, the truth of the incident must be ascertained.
That's because this incident won't necessarily bring darkness to Gensokyo.
To the girl who could manipulate time, reading the future was the one thing she couldn't do.

*According to Wikipedia: In the Shinto Religion and Japanese Mythos, Amaterasu-Oomikami (or just Amaterasu) is the goddess of the Sun (and apparently also the Goddess of the Universe).

Well with my limited knowledge of japanese, I understood that he does not plan to realise a mobile Touhou game for now. He said something like that the games made for the Comiket generally does not make success in the market of the mainstream games, but for the smartphones this rule can be different, if he notices that some1 in comiket can make success at mobiles he could think about a mobile Touhou project.

Also I think that he is afraid to lose the "Doujin" game status with he does a game for mobile devices, btw for him there's no problem to realise a future mobile Touhou game for free, since it can earn money like a lot of free games ( angry birds :P )

-Gensoumaroku* youkai picture book/tool picture book

-Nigirikasen* extra units/copies [Otowa]
-Ichigoaniki* new playable/trial game

A small quantity will be distributed limited to Summer Comiket
Price: 500 Yen

PS no I don't know what they mean by 'tool picture book,' but I figure it is some sort of supplementary material for something or other.

*Aogamiengi - This could be translated as a lot of things, but I suppose its a reference to the game
東方蒼神縁起 ~ The Genius of Sappheiros. Left it untranslated because proper names and such.

*Gensoumaroku - Recording of the Illusionary Devil? Maybe something like that, a reference to the game
東方幻想魔録 ~ The Devil of Decline. Left it untranslated because proper names and such.

*Nigirikasen - guess what this is lol. Literally means "Battle of A Hundred Demons," but as you've guessed is also a reference to a game (東方百鬼合戦).

*A game producing company. English name according to their website is 'Strawberry Guy.'

-ZUN currently has no plans on developping anything for the Smartphone platform
-He does not approve of derivative works appearing on the smartphone platform if they cost money to download, or generate income via advertisements
-As far as Doujin works on smartphones is concerned, he admits that his previous rules and guidelines weren't made with the smartphone platform in mind, so he is taking a wait and see approach to the situation for now.

PS again 2 replies while typing because I afk'd for a bunch of hours before hitting the post button.  Oh well, just going to post anyways!

Backstories and Abilities of stage 1 to 3 bosses of Touhou Jaseishou for Ry-Guy.  I took an extended break, but I'm still plugging away at it :)

Square brackets means I was completely lost! Otherwise I put a note for things I was unsure of.

Quote
Stage 1 Boss
Marry Shepherd - The Shepherd of the Forest of Happiness
Fairy/Ability to the extent of counting sheep
Stage 1: The Released Seal (Forest outside the Hakurei Shrine)

Scatter Sign: Cotton Breeze (Hard)/Scatter Sign: Cotton Blizzard (Lunatic) [MidStage]
Group Sign: One Sheep Two Sheep (Easy, Normal)/Group Sign: Wolf in Sheep's Clothing*
Exploration Sign: Stray Sheep Finder (Easy, Normal)/Wander Sign: The Good Shepherd (Hard, Lunatic)

The time is just before the creation of the Great Hakurei Barrier.  A story of the time when a large number of people from other countries were rapidly flowing in to this country.
A certain foreigner gave a fervent speech about blankets to the minister of the time. And so, the first shepherds of the country came into being. However, not long after that, in the middle of the political chaos of that period, the minister was assassinated, and the sheep farm was immediately forgotten, and entered into fantasy. The fairy Mary Shepherd could be called an incarnation of those farms and sheep.  In one part of the forest of magic, the sheep lived a peaceful, joyful life, but in due course someone thought to strike it rich off of processing their wool.  At that time this incident occured.

About her Powers
No matter how many sheep she counts, she will never get sleepy.  Just kidding.
In short, since it could be said she is one of the sheep, they mutually understand each other. Because of this, it is easy for her to command the flock to do as she pleases.

*The literal translation of this was something like 'fierce tiger borrows the sheep attack,' so the closest sensible thing I  could get out of it was 'wolf in sheep's clothing.'  If there's a better interpretation of this I'd love to hear it!

Stage 2 Boss
Corin Charite - The Shadow Passing through the Night Fog
Vampire/Ability to the extent of not drinking blood
Stage 2: The Rose-coloured sky and the Wine-coloured sea

Mist Sign: Bad Cloud (EN)/Darkness Sign: Night Fog's Choline (H)/Darkness Sign: Flying Sky Mouse Run* (L)
Sacred Treasure: Sea Monster's Spear Gae Bolg (EN)/Sacred Treasure: Dark Sea Monster's Spear Gae Bolg (HL)**
Wandering: Night Walker (EN)/Dream Game: Dreaming Walker (HL)
Cremation: Current Cremation*** (EN)/Purgatory: Forbidden Love's Final Destination (HL)

Of course, you remember the Scarlet Mist incident, caused by the head of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, Remilia Scarlet. Corin Charite is of the same race as her, that is to say the strongest class of demon, a vampire.  Except that, she was born during a time where while she was still young, the bloody cannabilism of old was being rejected in her family. As time passed, Corin began to hate drinking blood from humans, [and as such developped a weak constitution].
Of course, there was no way she could survive like that in the outside world.  And so, depending on Remilia, she came to Gensokyo. Her future was supposed to be bright.

However, at that time, who could have predicted that she would come across this incident and the shrine maiden's group?

About her Powers
Though called an ability, the boundary between that and her predisposition and preferences is vague.  Compared to other vampires, she can survive on a very small amount of blood.  Though she fell victim to the very strong and suitable power typical of her race, let's say it's a result of the modern man's predisposition to energy conservation.

*Ehehehe...this one is super questionable to me. The kanji are to fly' 'mouse' 'sky/heaven' 'mouse' 'gallop.'  The kanji used for mouse could also mean dark or slate grey.
**According to Wikipedia, A spear from Irish mythology. Supposedly, it was given to Cuchulainn by his martial arts teacher, and was crafted out of the bone of a giant sea monster called the Coinchenn.
***Not sure about the first word in this.  The word given is (supposedly) english, pronounced Kaarento, so I made an educated guess as to what it meant.

Stage 3 Boss
Phiased Pescar - The Prophet who Gazes at the Night Sky (also known as Doctor Pescar)
Magician/Ability to the extent of reading future from the stars
Stage 3:Heaven's Crown of Stars

Magic Sign: Tarot's Wild Dance (EN)/Magic Sign: Tarot's Wild Dance - The Doctor's World (HL)
Star Sign: Doctor's Horoscope(EN)/ Star Sign: Doctor's Planetarium (HL)
Colourless: Double Energy (E)/Star Sign: Kakome Kagome (NH)/ Star Technique: Code 2721 (L)
Light Sign: Optical Avatar (E)/Clone: Mirror Particle's Star Technique (NH)/Light Sign: Starlight Illusion (L)
Treasure: Branch of Manna (HL)

A Magical Scientist who is skilled at predicting the future from the movements of the heavenly bodies, that is, Astrology.  Though the race is 'Magician,' when compared to the Witch at the Scarlet Devil Mansion, the Puppet User, or even a certain Priestess, she is far superior*.  Even in the old books of the outside world, the great efforts of people like her are being recorded.  However, recently in the outside world, the amount of bright light and smog polluting the starry sky is quite large.  The girl who was distressed by this moved to a quiet, mountainous region in Gensokyo and set up an observatory.  This time, she promptly understood the meaning of the meteorite that fell, but...continued in the full version!

About her Powers
Just what it says.  However, that doesn't mean she knows everything, she can only learn vague or rough estimations.  Obviously, it doesn't help her find the safe spots in her opponents Danmaku. Even so, to the people who live fumbling around not knowing what the future holds, it is needless to say that this is an ability worthy of awe.

*Could also just mean older, this part wasn't very specific.  Considering the context though I went for this interpretation.

*Notes regarding spell card names:
Star Sign: Kakome Kagome, as you might be able to tell, is very close to the name of a song from Imperishable night, Kagome Kagome. I left it as it was in part to keep this connection and in part because I didn't have a very clear way of translating it.  The 'kakome' part means 'to encircle or surround' and the 'kagome' part means 'woven bamboo pattern,' so you should be able to figure it out from there!

Star Technique: Code 2721 - Just a fun little tidbit of information, Unicode Character number 2721 is a six pointed star (typically called the Star of David). I assume that's where the name of the spellcard comes from.

EDIT: Fixed the super awesome notepad spacing issues

Wow, I didn't realize it had been three weeks since the last time I posted.  I blame video games.

Anyways, here's stage 4.  I know that Stage 4 and 5 are on the same page, but I got this far and it was 4 AM so I figured any further work would be even lower quality than normal :(

Quote
***Spoiler Alert!

Stage 4 Boss
Mikaboshi Mumumu - The Fallen Emperor of the Stars
Star God/Ability to the extent of leading people to their deaths

Impure Sign: Dragon's Spit (EN)/Jealousy: Leviathan's Dinner (Midboss)

Devour*: Greed Glide (E)/Wrath: Ignite Fang (N)/Excess: Gluttony Fang (HL)
Temptation: Lazy Man's Victory (E)/ Temptation: Eden's Last Day (NH)/Recollection: Lost Last Paradise (L)
End: The Day The Sky Fell (EN)/End: Red Star (HL)
Pride: Lucifer's Lightning (EN)/Daybreak in the Nonexistant World (HL)

The morning star is Ame no Kagaseo, the God of Venus*. It's true form is Mikaboshi Mumumu. No, "Ame no Kagaseo" and "Mikaboshi Mumumu" do not accurately express her true essence. Her true name exists seperately from these. Her true form comes from the God of the Stars of the paganism from across the ocean, where the power of the pantheon of the Myriad Gods of Shinto do not reach. A more general name would be Lucifer, or Satan. Most likely, the most famous and most powerful god of evil in the world.

Across the world, tales of her frightfulness as an evil god are not lacking. Nevertheless, for some reason, she had not been seen for thousands of years. Of course, that is because she had been moving from place to place, hiding herself. [In addition to stopping her actions the outside world, she falsely took on the name of Ame no Kagaseo and entered the comfort of Gensokyo,  where in recent years the legendary severe side of her has vanished.]

However, she was one who could not live without the beliefs of the many people who called her the strongest god of evil. In order to preserve the image of a tyrannical devil king, she went to the outside world from time to time to perform terrible acts that cannot be described here. Thus, for the sake of the "Coming Time," she confirmed that her power was not declining. To be blunt, as things were, she was just a peaceful minor god of the stars in Gensokyo.  She knew this. However, she knew that someday, without fail, she would come across an opponent who she must fight, putting her very existence on the line.

About her Powers

It has the feeling of engraving the fate of a person onto a seal, and that person must obey it. Her terrifying power can be used like this. Though she hides the power to do things like have water pour out of another person's mouth to create a flood, or have a star fall from the sky, even though she is in a place like Gensokyo where such things would be understood, she holds back in her fight against Reimu and the others. Though the saying "a skilled hawk hides its talons" is a little bit off in this case, a truly strong person doesn't swing their fists around recklessly.

*The kanji used in the pretext of this spell card are 'to catch' or 'to seize,' and 'to devour.'  As you probably noticed, I had a little difficulty trying to combine those two elements into a single word, so I gave up.  But anyways, now you know!

*This is a reference to the planet/celestial body, not the roman god.

Here's the Stage 5 Boss.  There's a few references to a person named Janet, who I eventually figured out is the midboss of Stage 5, who's information is written of in the next page, along with the mysterious and never before seen stage 6 midboss. >.>

Anyways, enjoy.  School starts for me today, but hopefully I'll still be able to work at this at a decent pace.

Quote
Stage 5 Boss
Michel Sant-Angelo - The One Closest to God
Archangel/Ability to the extent of handing down revelations

Slash: Archangel's Sword (EN)/Crimson: Burning Angel's Sword (HL)
Revelation: Tenfold Shining Laser (EN)/Revelation: Decalogue Engraving Laser (HL)
Oracle: Flare Snow (EN)/Oracle: Seraphic Snow (H)/Oracle: [Isaiah's Prophecy] (L)
Revelation: Notice of Sodom's End (EN)/Ban Withdrawal: Caligula's Dilemma* (HL)
Salvation: Escalator to Heaven (N)/Selection: Moriya's Mountain Road (H)/Selection: Zion's Ladder (L)

Janet's Superior, among the angels, she hold's the highest position.
Very few angels are permitted to approach the main God, Yahweh, and the things that the sword she was awarded by God cannot cut are rare. The girl with such a shining personal history was somehow the devil king Mikaboshi Mumumu's younger sister.

In the age of myths, the one who led the angels into a singleness of purpose with God in the early days was Mumumu. However, over some trivial matter she began to quarrel with God, and swearing revenge, she left Heaven.  At the same time the one now named Lucifer was lost, one third of all the angels were lost in a similar manner.
When it came to selecting her successor, almost none of the angels carried an ability or charisma that could be compared to hers. Though it was a troubling decision, despite being Mumumu's younger sister, God's faithful servant Michel Sant-Angelo was selected. If compared to her older sister, her power fell a little short, but because of this even the angels who supported Mumumu should have consented. God's system of government should have become rock solid.

Unfortunately, Michel had a strong sense of carelessness.

To help a certain family from a town that was to be razed, a warning to evacuate was given. She told them under no circumstances were they to look back, or else they would be turned to stone, and this actually happened to one of the women. Michel was unaware that as the Archangel, even her words held great spiritual power.

At another time, she gave a revelation to the still living Janet, who would be raised up as a hero.  Since she had neglected to teach her when to pull back, Janet forgot herself in the joy of her victories and was eventually captured by the enemy army and executed. Since even now she has saved souls with such drawbacks before,  there are times when Michel is no match for her.

An important prophecy is written about the end of the world of Demon's and Angels. When the seven strong seals placed on this book are released, the frightening end of the world written inside will come about. Humans cannot release these seals. Michel left the management of this book to humanity. In fear of the book, they keep it sealed within the underground depths of the church, and before long it was forgotten and entered into fantasy. Moreover, the book was found by Mary Shepherd, who was easily able to release the seals.  And so, the end of the world began in Gensokyo.

Up until now, all of her carelessness was trivial enough to only receive reprimands from God, however this time her failure would be inexcusable.  In fear of reprimand, the tight-lipped Michel brought Janet and a handful of angels with her to Gensokyo.

About her Powers

As the most famous of all the angels, Michel is known historically for repeatedly appearing before humans and giving oracles and revelations. Though this is a mix of the words of God and her own advice, at any rate to humans it is a mysterious power that she gives, the astounding ability to make the impossible possible. Though it is not something that could be directly helpful on the battlefield, she herself carries the weapon of god, the Burning Sword, and she has combat ability exceeding that of Mumumu. As expected, to spare the denizens of Gensokyo, she saves her power while acting.

*According to Wikipedia, Caligula was the Emperor of Rome from 37 to 41 AD.  A cursory glance didn't reveal anything that I would describe as 'Caligula's Dilemma' though, so maybe a bit more research is in order.

PS I am considering revising Mary Shepherd's profile to say her powers are 'Ability to the extent of Counting Sheep and Ending the World'

Stage 5 and 6 mid bosses.  Can you feel the suspense beginning to rise? ;)

Quote
Stage 5 Mid-Boss
The Bowless Archer - Janet Arc'Angelo
Angel(Originally Human)/Ability to the extent of giving assistance

Performance Sign: La Pucelle's Bugel* (EL)/Performance Sign: Sky Paradise Orchestra

Called an "Angel," she is a spiritual existence that serves the God of the western country, Yahweh. Though she was originally a human girl, her spirit was picked out by her superior Michel, and she was reborn as an angel. Now as Michel's subordinate, she is fully enjoying her second life(?).

Since Michel seems to find her duty tiresome, Janet gives direction to the angels under Michel's authority to some degree, but it seems that she doesn't remember how brilliantly she shone in her previous life herself.

About her Powers

Roughly the lower version of her superior Michel's ability to hand down revelations. By giving inspiration and encouragement, she can give people spiritual power.  It seems in her previous life she used this ability to lead an army.

*I wasn't a hundred percent sure on this one, but it fits with her backstory so this is what I did. La Pucelle is most likely a reference to "la Pucelle d'Orl?ans," or the Maid of Orleans, referring to Joan of Arc.  It was in French in the original Japanese, so I maintained that here. Also, the spell card was listed as (EL), as in Easy and Lunatic...which I'm sure anyone would think is strange, but that's how its listed on the main site, so I reproduced that here as well, whether its an error or not.

(?) This is included in the original Japanese, and is not a note. But here's a note so you have something to read anyways 8D

Quote
Stage 6 Mid-Boss
The Unforgiving Child of God - Sanae Kochiya
Human(Living God)/Ability to the extent of causing miracles

Hollow God: Disguised Natural Law (ENHL)*

The shrine maiden living at the Moriya Shrine on Youkai Mountain. She has come to enjoy solving incidents recently. With all these outrageous people suddenly appearing on the mountain, it smells like an incident is afoot!  She challenged the exultant red and black one, and the blue and white one, but the wall between a Living God and an actual God was just too high.

Why was the star god, Ame no Kagaseo being so savage? Before she even thought of whether one person could take them down,  it seemed more like someone else was trying to pull a prank. Ah, maybe it was the work of the devil who lived in the mansion by the lake? As she spun theories desperately in her head, in front of her eyes happened to pass by an unlucky human. And so, the human who had refrained from going in to the final battle, without thinking about it, was able to replenish 1 bomb.
*"hollow" could also have been translated as "false." I wasn't sure which to pick, so I just picked the one I liked better.  As for the rest of the spell card, in Japanese it reads as 'gisoutensoku,' which as you may have realized is very similar to the name of Touhou 12.3, Hisoutensoku. It seems unlikely to me that this is a coincidence lol.

1st tag:

Touhou Project
Remilia Scarlet
(C) Team Shanghai Alice
(C)AXIA
Artist: Muranako

As for the second tag...unfortunately my knowledge of Kanji isn't sufficient to be able to make out what the more complicated Kanji are to look them up, but the best I've been able to make out is
-Wash at 40 degrees (celsius)
-When ironing, do not apply the iron directly to the print
-Avoid tumble drying

I'm going to start working on The Last Comer's Stage Six boss back story now, but I know for a fact that I will be interrupted before I finish, so hopefully I will be able to finish it by late tonight.

Hey guys, I am training my japanese trying to translate some Concealed the Conclusion spellcards descriptions at the wiki (http://en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Concealed_the_Conclusion/Spell_Cards/Stage_2B (http://en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Concealed_the_Conclusion/Spell_Cards/Stage_2B)). I was thinking to ask something at the "Talk" topic there but someone suggested me that here I could get an answer faster than there :P

I think that the correct translation of  天符 「太陽凝視法」isn't 'Heaven Sign "Stare at the Sun"', but it is 'Heaven Sign "Sun Gazing Method"'. What do you think? And if someone could review my translations I'll be glad :)

While "Sun Gazing Method" sounds more appropriate to me, a quick search of "太陽凝視法" in google
will have "Sun Gazing" in the top results. "Sun Fazing" might here refer
to the practice of being there where the sun rise (or something) to recieve prana of it and energize yourself. Something like that.
Since 太陽凝視法 might refer to that, Sun Gazing would be the appropriate translation.

After reading the spell card descriptions, I agree with "Sun Gazing Method."   The combination of that last 法 with the spell card descriptions talking about 'being able to' and 'only Eirin knows how' leads me to believe the spell card name is more of a reference to the method itself than the act, also reinforced by the fact that the spell card also seems to be about 'breaking down the light from the sun' rather than just being "rays of light from the sun."

I'm not sure what this board's policy on double posting is, since there was no mention of it on the forums rules, but I'm going to go ahead and risk it anyways because this is a big update!

Stage 6 Boss' Backstory for The Last Comer.  It was uhh.  Long. lol.  Sorry I took so long to get it out, but my past couple days has been quite full with school and such, so this is the soonest I could manage!  But anyways, I'm sure none of you want to hear excuses, so here's what you've actually been waiting for!

Quote
Stage 6 Boss
The All-Forgiving Child of God
Iesua Nazarenus

Saint/Ability to the extent of turning water into wine

Fish Sign: Angelfish of the Jordan River (EN)/Great Catch: To He That Rows to the Depths (HL)
Miracle: How about some wine from water? (EN)/Lineage Sign: Emmanuel's Blood Line (HL)
Grand Miracle: Resurrection of the Dead (ENHL)
United Spirit*: Walking on Water (EN)/New Theory: Thin Ice of the Sea of Galilee (H)/Seeing Through: Watch, For I Shall Return Soon (L)
Object of Mourning: crown of Thorns (EN)/Relic: Iron Crown of the Holy Emperor (N)*/Exceeding Light: Angel's Halo (L)
Eli Eli Lama Sabacthani* (HL)
New Testament Star (EN)/He Who Arrives At The End of the World (HL)

*sneaks in translation notes*
*This one gave me quite a pause.  Normally, you would translate this as 'Shout of Spirit' or something similar, as used in the context of martial arts (wikipedia "Kiai" if you'd like to know more), but in my opinion it doesn't really fit the context at all to translate it this way. The Kanji literally mean something like 'United Spirit,' which feels much better in this context to me, but supposedly that's not at all how the word is supposed to be taken. I'm going to go ahead and give the more context appropriate translation here, but keep in mind that the word they used is probably never actually used like that.

*Relic: Iron Crown of the Holy Emperor was listed as a Normal mode spell card, but since this set already has a normal mode version and no hard mode version, I assume that it was just a typo. Error reproduced here for consistency with the source material.

*According to the Bible, Jesus shouted these words while he was hanging on the cross.  It's Greek, and means "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?"

Quote
Rivaling Buddha, the most famous of all Saints in the world. To be accurate, the child of man and the child of Yahweh. The legend of being betrayed by one of his disciples, crucified on the cross, and then brought back to life three days later is already a well known story even among those who do not believe in Christianity. However, there is no longer anyone who knows the truth behind the flowery story in the New Testament.

Though she is the child of God, because of the excessive pain she endured at the time of her crucifixion, she ended up speaking curses to God. "God, God, Why have you abandoned me?" Faith becomes power.  Whether it's the past or present, or Gensoukyou or the country of the West, this fact is unchanging. So, if one doubts God, the powers he has promised through faith will be lost. In truth, after the crucifixion, though Iesua was supposed to be resurrected as a holy person, she had already become nothing more than a human who no longer had the ability to bring about miracles. She had suffered on the cross and died.

Initially, the betrayal of the disciple that had been planned by Mumumu was going to be turned into a good thing by Yahweh. Contrary to expectations however, upon facing the worst possible conclusion, the disciple who's true nature had returned deeply regretted his actions and was tormented by guilt. So, in a way that no one would see it, he took the body of his enshrined master away. Why? If the body disappeared, rumors of Iesua's revival would begin to spread.  The rumors among the people would turn into faith, and the power of faith would become the power to bring about a miracle. Thus, Iesua was barely able to be revived as the child of God after three days. And so, forgiving her disciple was the first thing she went to do upon returning.

---The disciple, however, had already hung himself. His soul was not saved by God, but instead ended up being captured by Mumumu. Moreover, to make things worse, Mumumu had once again hidden herself somewhere in the world.

The religion that Iesua taught to the world was truly a simple one. To write, it would only take one word: "Forgive." No matter how you decorate it with pretty words, everyone whether in the past or the present lives with something they want everyone to turn their eyes away from. If someone is able to forgive them, they can be released from their suffering. Therefore, first, I will give everything I have to forgive "you."---
To the people who had been living carrying such suffering, her words wrapped them in an overflowing love.

When the star fell into Gensokyo and the sign of the last battle was mistakenly given, Mikaboshi Mumumu's power keeping her hidden was released, and the morning star began to give off a strange light. From this, Iesua could finally determine the location of the Demon King. She decided to descend into Gensokyo, but not with the purpose of fighting Mumumu. Instead, it was to forgive everyone.  Michel, who feared God's Wrath; The still suffering soul of her disciple, that had been captured; Even the pitiful demon king who had lost all chance at reconciliation with God. "You don't have to suffer anymore" is the only thing she wanted to say.  Only that.

The saint who had forgiven the suffering of all mankind wished only to forgive them herself.

About her Powers

Though it can also be taken literally, the wine also refers to Iesua's sacred blood - From healing the sick to raising the dead and walking on water, the numerous miracles left behind in her legend, all of these things were possible because of her blood that had been blessed by God. This is the other meaning that it carries.

And now the only thing left is the Extra Stage.  I don't plan on taking particularly long to get it done, but I'm not going to promise anything either lol.  So I guess all I can say is...look forward to it? xD

As an aside, do you guys prefer 'Gensokyo,' 'Gensoukyo,' or 'Gensoukyou' in English text? Just curious.

But you're translating into English, and sometimes extra vowels can hinder readability. In fact, sometimes I wonder if "yokai" would be better than "youkai". Pretty much everywhere I've seen the word in non-Touhou settings, it's lacking the 'u'.

It's almost a matter of how the word looks. Gensoukyou is more correct if you actually want transliteration, but Gensokyo naturally reads more like you would say it, if you read it as english. In most cases, you aren't reading the japanese as japanese, you're reading the japanese with english. The repetition of ou is probably another odd thing. "Youkai" in comparison has always felt like a natural word to me, but perhaps there's the tendency for people to see the word "you" in it and pronounce it like that, just as many people who read "Touhou" often say too hoo for whatever reason. In any case, that's probably the reason why it's usually seen as yokai or yōkai.

Hmmm your arguments looks valid since english isn't my native language. Because of this the lack of 'u' sounds wrong for me, it's strange to read when someone writes "toho", "gensokyo" and etc.

Requesting TL check on Concealed the Conclusion's endings. (http://en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Concealed_the_Conclusion/Story/Endings)

I suspect that quite a number of changes will have to be made and sections might have to be re-translated completely.

I liked your translations a lot better than the one's that were there previously.  I went through and translated it all myself so I had something to compare it to, but (with a few grammar fixes) yours were pretty close  to mine, so I just posted yours below here with some grammar fixing.

Quote
Suggestion: "It was supposed to be a final duel of danmaku, but when she noticed she was sleeping in her bedroom."
Suggestion: "That's right, I should have thought that something was strange when things like magic are common there."
Suggestion: "Gensokyo was just a dream world."
Suggestion: "I wonder if I'll be able to see the dreams of Gensokyo if I sleep one more time."
Suggestion: "Hey, we're going to be late, lets hurry up and go to school!"
Suggestion: "Aah, ok... sorry. Just wait for me to change my clothes."
Suggestion: "Eventually even these sad memories will become nothing but a forgotten dream. Indeed, it seems that it'll become only illusions."

EDIT: I think I might take a look at the rest of them some time later.  I just took a cursory glance over the page and some of the translations...leave a lot to be desired.  Kaze Senshi seems to be doing alright though, so if he plans to keep going I might settle for just double checking what he does.

Grammar fixes are always welcome in my phrases :P

For me there is no problem if you want to check it too. Currently I am full of university homeworks to do, so I am without many time to check it. If you want to, you can check it too, the only thing that I ask to you is to insert your checks bit by bit in the place of accumulate it and insert all, if you do this there is no way to me know what you are doing and we could end wasting time checking the same part.

After all wiki is a collaborative workspace ;)

Q: I want to become as good as you and get a perfect score (literally: 100 points). What should I do?

A: Well, first of all you shouldn't take any damage or use any bombs (for every stage). You can increase your skill by aiming for a higher score, but it's better to try to avoid score penalties instead. (By the way, don't say it's impossible to get over a hundred million points or a perfect score)

Okay. As I thought, it's explaining the rank number at the end. It's not as detailed as I'd hoped, though it is interesting that bombing would have an effect.

Anyway, thanks for the help!

Now that I think of it, the other characters call the predecessors "Hakurei shrine maidens", but don't often really call Reimu a shrine maiden. Probably because she doesn't straight-up do shrine maiden duties. She gets her just desserts.

I can tell what some of it says in general, but a real translation would be up to someone else. The important philosophical bits Rinnosuke says about honing your skills and abandoning the self I have trouble parsing, if I even have the right words there. Ah, alright. It seems then that it multiplies the number of times you died (or bombed) by 4,000, then subtracts that from 20,000. To get the second and third ones, at least. The first is static. I guess clear time is... literally determined by how quickly you kill the boss. Good to know. Thanks Drake.

Title: Re: Touhou Translations and Requests Three
Post by: Drake on November 21, 2012, 01:23:07 AM
Yeah, I know he replied. I have zero knowledge of Korean but the article is basically just claiming what the Youtube guy previously said, along with apparently unused themes being in Ghostly Field Club. This would be a claim about Fairy of Flower which was an unused track for PCB, but it has not been confirmed to even be a possible boss theme, never mind for any given character, never mind another boss even being considered.

No sources. Wiki history shows that the article was created with it initially written rather than being added. I've never even heard the claim before, and there's no mention on our wiki, nor on dic.nico, nor on motoneta. It makes very little sense to begin with. In other words, it's total bullshit.
Title: Re: Touhou Translations and Requests Three
Post by: Sungho on November 21, 2012, 09:10:20 AM
I think that the article meant 'theme song' as being used for the Stage 4 theme.
Some people tend to link midboss-only characters with the Stage theme.

By the way, where can I learn about Fairy of Flower being an unused track for th07?
Title: Re: Touhou Translations and Requests Three
Post by: Drake on November 21, 2012, 04:50:46 PM
Regardless, unsubstantiated claims passed off as truth should not be in a wiki. As immediately evidenced by the original guy saying he got this info from that wiki, and then having to make me go fact-check the claim, this is dangerous. Guessing that it would be used for stage 4 is just as unsubstantiated as claiming it's Lily's theme, and despite stage themes popularly being associated with midbosses, it is still fundamentally incorrect. It's a very wide stretch to say that the theme of a character with no theme is an unused track for that game guessed to be the unused stage theme for that stage. Seriously what.

Fairy of Flower is simply noted as an unused PCB track on the Ghostly Field Club track list on ZUN's site.

The Last Comer Extra Stage Back Story, Midbosses, and Boss info:

Quote
Hakurei Shrine

The cherry blossoms that had managed to narrowly escape the danger of the Evil Star Incident were now quietly signalling the end of spring. Reimu, Marisa, Sakuya, and Remilia were all enjoying what would most likely be the last flower viewing event of the season.

Reimu: "Peaceful...soooo peaceful."
Marisa: "Yeah, peaceful. And they thought that this time that new vampire would be causing something."
Remilia: "Ha. Who would ever cause an incident in a Spring that feels this good?"

From under her parasol, the half asleep Remilia gave her reply while rubbing her eyes. No one would have been able to guess she was the infamous devil of the Scarlet Devil Mansion.

Even Sakuya, who was diligently standing by holding the parasol, had to stifle a yawn from time to time.

Sakuya: "Though Corin-sama's body is even weaker than the mistress'. While she has settled down now, at that time we had no idea what to do..."
Marisa: "Is it really okay that we relax this much?"
Reimu: "What are you talking about all of a sudden?"
Marisa: "I get the feeling that we are being too calm, you know?"
Reimu: "Is that so? I thought it was just because Spring is that peaceful. Though it does feel like we are forgetting that "peace at any price" attitude..."

Suddenly, what one could only mistake for the winds of the first storm of spring assailed the four girls.  As the Cherry Blossom Tree shook, a jet black speck of something fell on Marisa's white apron.

Upon inspection, it seemed to be a fragment of carbonized wood from the fall of the meteorite the other day.

Reimu: "Oh yeah, that pagan lot did end up cleaning everything up, but in the end what was that meteorite?"
Marisa: "Ah, yeah, I was planning on investigating that, but on the way there I got sidetracked and forgot about it."
Sakuya: "According to the prophetic writings, the meteor was supposed to fall and pollute the water. But if that's the case, it's a little strange that it fell in the forest, don't you think?"

Mumumu: "I said this before, but that wasn't me. I was specifically restraining myself from causing problems in Gensokyo."

How long had she been there? Mikaboshi Mumumu sat on the Offertory Box behind Reimu, stirring her sake. Her Japanese dress was frighteningly suitable to the demon king, who satisfied after seeing Reimu's shocked reaction, laughed and disappeared again.

Remilia: "Well, if it wasn't Lucifer, then who was it? I'm pretty sure the angel's side wouldn't try something like that though"

At last, the girls realized the importance of the fact that they didn't yet understand the full situation of the incident at hand. Up until now, why on Earth had they settled down so much without having dealt with the after effects of the meteorite?

Without a word, the three of them quickly set about to their preparations, and at practically the same time headed off to the forest.

Only the puzzled Remilia remained.

Extra Stage Midboss(es)

EX Mid Boss: the Gleeful Shepherd & The Prophet who Gazes at the Night Sky

Marry Shepherd and Phiased Pescar

Merry Mystery: Thunder Wool
Wicked Holy Star: Bethlehem and Wormwood*

At the unexpected release of the prophecy of the end times, Marry received a good scolding from the angels and saints. However, neither anyone in heaven nor she herself could figure out why one fairy in Gensokyo was capable of breaking such an outrageously powerful seal. Unbeknownst to all of them, the prophecy itself said that the one who would open the seal would be a "lamb." Though it didn't literally mean a "lamb," and was actually supposed to indicate Iesua Nazarenus...well, it was an old foreign prophecy, so a few inconsistencies may have ended up appearing. "Don't ever play with Revelations again!"

In the instant when Professor Pescar saw the star from the Evil Star Incident, she was struck with a feeling of d?j? vu. About 2000 years earlier, together with two of her companions, the Professor saw a star signaling the birth of Iesua, the new King of a wandering people.  The same as at that time, she knew from intuition that from now on the same thing would happen.  In actuality, Iesua's sudden appearance in Gensokyo was incredibly confusing to the Professor. Why is this completely unrelated to the "Birth of a new King"? Even though reading the stars isn't 100% accurate...for some reason her pride wouldn't allow it.  For the sake of investigating the star that had fallen, she set out to do some field work.

Notes

*Wicked Holy Star: Bethlehem and Wormwood
Bethlehem is the supposed birthplace of Jesus in Christianity (or I suppose Iesua in this context?). In Revelations, the prophecy of the end-times found in the Bible, one of the events that is described is of a star falling to the Earth and turning one third of the Earth's water "bitter."  The name of this star is "wormwood."  This is also most likely what Sakuya was referring to in the Extra Stage Backstory, when she was saying it was strange that the meteorite fell in the forest.

EX Boss: The Unhappy Mint of Hades

Elfin Mint

Fairy(Elf)/Ability to the extent of calming things down
EX Stage: The Evil Star's Beloved, Sorrowful Flower*
Theme 1: The Neighbourhood is a Lost World
Theme 2: Living Witness of the Mythic World ~ The Lost Comer

Growth: Weed Spirit of Mint
Ignition: Seed Explode
Winter Flurry Sign: Hidden Saw
Boundary: Soldering Ginger
Labyrinth: Nightmare of Etruria
Magic: Sweet Mint Arrow
Prohibition: Suspension of Danmaku
A Bouquet of Congratulations to Saint John
Pluto Afforestation Plan

This is an old story from a land north of the western country where Iesua's legend was handed down.  Once upon a time, at the touch of a goddess' anger, a fairy's appearance was changed to that of an ugly weed's.

She had already lost all her faith, and had thought only that she would disappear, but a very unexpected person held out a saving hand to her.  The manipulator of "death," the terrifying god of the realm of the dead, Hades. In the future to come, written works would describe him again and again as an evil, dark, devil king.
Seeing the weed that had once been a fairy, he had pity on it, and changed it to have a pleasing scent and a beautiful flower.
He was the king of death who would be feared by anyone, but he also loved greenery and life more than anyone.
The fairy flower, who had become abundant and well known above ground because of the dark king, gathered popularity for its pleasing scent among the people.

Thousands of years passed, and the many gods of Greece came upon the same era of difficulty with gathering faith that the myriad native gods of Japan came upon. However, the dark king came happily upon an unexpected coincidence. At the same time, humanity unexpectedly found a 9th planet in the solar system, and gave it his name.  With that star acting as an object representative of him, he could once again restore faith.
The dark king, from the realm of the dead beneath the earth, decided to move to a palace within the distant sea of stars.

----"She" wished to meet him once more.
The "flower," after a long period of time acquired the form of a human, and though it was the same as when she had been a fairy, she had acquired a power that surpassed her old self. By spreading her huge seeds on the wind, she propagated her descendants throughout the entire world, constantly reproduced with herself, brought forth countless fragrances pleasing to humans,  and all for the sake of her one ultimate goal.
And so, the girl who had achieved the ability to move freely headed towards the realm of the dead, but the dark king had already left.
"----I don't want----to be forgotten----"

Decades later, the "9th planet" which had been stripped of its title as a planet was pulled to the border of "Illusions and Reality" and fell into Gensokyo. Entirely by coincidence, this happened at the same time as the magnificent battle between light and darkness was beginning. "She" who had come to Gensokyo following the fallen star did not yet know. That the face of the fallen star, before being consumed with fire, was covered with the same flower that was "her" namesake.

The flower of old with the pleasant aroma that mankind had become so close to was given the name "Mint."
Whether the fact that "her" name is the same is a coincidence or not is still not known.

By the way, the familiar by her side is the princess of the jealous Hades. Though she was dispatched as a watchdog, after being shot down by the returning Mint, she is presently being put to good use.

Its name is "Zankurou."
Whether the similarity between its name and the name for Pomegranate* is a coincidence or not is still not known.

Notes
*Sorrowful Flower
The character I translated as Sorrowful apparently has the meanings of "sorrow," "pathos," "pretty," and "lovely."  You can decide whether this was an attempt at some sort of pun or not, but I translated it as I did in reference to Elfin's title.

*Pomegranate
In Japanese, the name for Pomegranate is Zakuro.

Well that was an afternoon well spent.  I'm impressed with how quickly I got through all of that...hopefully that is indicative of an increase in my skill and not a decrease in quality :(  Anyways, with this, all of the Last Comer info (that I've seen) should be translated, if there's anything I've missed please let me know!  Also, I don't mind taking a look at the in game dialogue and epilogues, but that will require that someone finds me the text for them since I don't actually have the game and as far as I can tell they aren't  up on the wiki.

Ok, I was debating whether to go through each character's story straight through, or to translate stage 1 for everyone, then stage 2 etc, and the second method won out for various reasons.

So here are the first three stages for all three characters.  I will probably post again once stage 4, 5, and 6 are done.  I'm not sure if I want to post the Extra stage on its own or include it in the group with 4, 5, and 6, or whether I want to wait til after I've finished translating all the epilogues (which are going to take me quite a bit of effort compared to the stage dialogues).

Regardless, here are the stage 1 through 3 dialogues, organized according to character.

Reimu's Scenario

Stage 1

Reimu: As expected, it's quiet.
Reimu: If the trees burn, can the Youkai and Fairies do nothing but run away or burn with them?
???: I wonder about that...

(Marry Enters)

Marry: Those run away are fairies. Those who don't run away are well-trained fairies.
Reimu: So why is there an untrained fairy still here then?
Marry: *sniffle* One of my cute sheep has become lost
Reimu: What does it matter if it's just one? I'll gladly eat it at the shrine later anyways.

(Marry's Theme Starts)

Marry: You don't understand anything do you!
Marry: A good shepherd leaves to search for the one lost sheep even if they have to neglect 99 others!
Marry: Human who doesn't cherish the sheep, understand our bond!

(Marry Defeated)

Marry: Ah, I found the sheep
Reimu: That's good, isn't it.  Though I had a waste a lot of effort because of it.
Marry: I just remembered, you are that shrine maiden that solves incidents, right? You've come looking for that fallen star haven't you?
Marry: Someone who didn't look around here flew off to the lake.
Reimu: It's cold over there huh...
Reimu: Seems perfect, I'm going to be taking some of your wool then!
Marry: Awww...

Stage 2

Reimu: It looked like something fell down here a little ago...maybe it was just my imagination?
???: That wasn't your imagination.

(Corin Enters)

Corin: How mean, attacking such a good natured vampire all of the sudden.
Reimu: Vampire? As if there were such things as good natured and bad natured demons.
Corin: I am a good natured vampire though. I am one who does not drink the blood of humans like you.
Reimu: Relax, people who sent out that scarlet mist. Whether you drink blood or not, I'll exterminate you without asking useless questions
Reimu: The water has been turning red for a while.  This is also your doing, no doubt.

(Corin's Theme Starts)

Corin: Impossible.  This is the Era of Nature Conservation, we would never use energy uselessly like that.
Corin: A Shrine Maiden whose head is good for nothing but beating things at random should just quickly consume all your fuel and fall!

(After Battle)

Corin: No more---
Reimu: Sure you don't drink blood, but I suppose you never mentioned anything about not drinking blood and being strong.
Corin: I wish you would have seen that before we fought. Don't get in the way of our peaceful lives.
Corin: Now go back to the mountain where you came from.  That Astrology professor should be there.
Corin: She will no doubt be able to teach you what you wish to know.
Reimu: If you have something important to say, then say it first next time!

Stage 3

Stage 3 Reimu

Reimu: There are an awful lot of stars, but where is the professor, I wonder?
???: Are you looking for me?

(Phiased Enters)

???: I am here, you know, specifically because there are so many stars here.
Reimu: You're that astrology professor the vampire was talking about, right?
Phiased: Indeed. My name is Phiased Pescar, and I am quite famous in the outside world.
Phiased: The stars are spirits, and their movements definitely have meaning. If we can discern that meaning, predicting

the future is possible.
Phiased: When people do it, this secret art is known as Astrology.
Reimu: Aha, though I never studied Chinese Astrology properly before.
Reimu: I don't really care about the future, so please do something about the huge star that fell in the forest.
Phiased: That's an impossible order, unfortunately.
Phiased: Astrology is an art of predicting the future. It is not magic that manipulates the stars themselves.
Phiased: In addition, I can see it. You who understands this will now attack me in retaliation.
Reimu: Correct! I really can't underestimate the power of Astrology, huh? I should really start studying Chinese

Astrology.

(Phiased's Theme Starts)

Phiased: The stars are spirits. Therefore, if you draw a star on a bullet, a spirit will dwell within it.
Phiased: The cosmic danmaku of I, who knows every star, will not lose easily to any shrine maiden!

(After Defeat)

Phiased: As expected of the shrine maiden. This is the result that I had predicted.
Reimu: So...what is that fallen star?
Phiased: One of great stature will appear here. The Shrine Maiden of Hakurei will seem but a child in comparison.
Reimu: Is that so? Alright, I'll beat them.
Phiased: Head for the top of the mountain. Ah, do not forget to bring a present to the one you will see there.
Reimu: I have heaps of thank-you talismans to give them.

Marisa's Scenario

Stage 1

Marisa: Wow, the damage here is quite serious
Marisa: What kind of culprit would do something like this...
???: Wait, Magician of the Stars!

(Marry Enters)

Marry: So the one who dropped that star was you!
Marisa: Oh my, how cute!
Marry: You think?
Marisa: But I'm a city girl, so I can't stand the smell of sheep
Marisa: Also, I'm not the one who dropped that star, though I'd love to learn a power like that.

(Marry's Theme starts)

Marry: Oh, you aren't the culprit? But you think I'll let you go? I'll punish you for speaking of a lady's smell!
Marry: Did you know if you count sheep you will become sleepy? By the time you open your eyes, you will have already fallen asleep!

(Marry defeated)

Marry: waaah, to think there's a human who could count sheep without falling asleep...
Marisa: Thanks for the hint! Thanks to you I just finished it without counting them.
Marry: Ah, it's bleeding...the blood of the pitiable lamb is dying the water red...
Marisa: Whoa, the river and lake are actually becoming red!

Stage 2

Marisa: The surface of the water really does look like wine. Looking at it kind of puts me in the mood for some Western Liquor.
???: Shall we drink together?

(Corin Enters)

Corin: Wine is the blood of a holy man.  Its a particular favourite among vampires like us.
Marisa: In that case stop drinking blood. Drinking nothing but wine should be fine.
Corin: I do.
Marisa: Huh?

(Corin's theme maybe starts)

Corin: I don't drink people's blood.  How would you say it...that tradition that reeks of raw blood is unbearable to me.
Marisa: Well that's good.  Now go tell Remilia and the others to go do the same.
Marisa: But that's a different conversation entirely.  Please return the lake back to normal for me.

(Corin's theme maybe starts again)

Corin: Do you really think a vampire could do something like this to running water?
Corin: I'll remove some of the blood from your head and get your thinking back to normal!

(After battle)

Corin: A vampire losing to a human...normally such a thing is unimaginable.
Marisa: If a vampire who didn't drink blood was strong, it would start an energy revolution.
Corin: Regardless, the star in the sky and the water turning red have nothing to do with us.
Corin: If it's about the stars, shouldn't you ask a star specialist?
Marisa: That would be me! Well, not really.  Ahh, the pain of being a novice.

Stage 3

Marisa: Idiots and Astronomers like high places, so...that person I saw earlier sure is suspicious.
???: Hm? Are you searching for me?

(Phiased Enters)

Phiased: I can see it. You have come in hopes of seeing my star reading.
Marisa: Well then, let's have my future told right away!
Phiased: very well, you will live until you are 97 years old, where you will die old and wrinkled.
Marisa: If you give such an odd number, people will just become thoughtlessly confident.
Phiased: Just joking. Besides, if you become a magician, would it not be better to say that you will live forever?
Phiased: A single word of warning, humans without hobbies are not permitted to become Magicians.
Marisa: And what's your hobby?
Phiased: Watching the stars intently for 2000 years, I have been watching them wholeheartedly
Marisa: Is that so? It's quite sad when someone has few hobbies.

(Phiased's Theme Starts)

Phiased: I said I only had one word of warning for you, but that was a lie.
Phiased: An additional word of warning, insulting the hobbies of an enthusiast will bring great pain to you.

(After Defeat)

Phiased: Oh look, I was the one who was made to suffer.
Marisa: So, what is that star that fell in the forest?
Phiased: A sign to show one of great stature will appear.
Phiased: It is not a situation like this one. If you would head to the top of the mountain, you should prepare a gift in tribute.
Marisa: Hehe, I've heard something good.
Phiased: Are you also going to celebrate? That is a good attitude to have.
Marisa: I'll beat them, and the tributes will become mine.  And the incident will be resolved.

Sakuya's Scenario

Stage 1
Sakuya: What a strange smell.  Was an animal with such a beast-like smell living in the forest in Gensokyo, I wonder?
???: Time has been advancing while the devil stays indoors.

(Marry Enters)

Marry: This is where I, Marry Shepherd, am making wool!
Sakuya: Ah, Marry has become a fantasy. Though I had heard she was in Yokohoma Japan recently.
Marry: Isn't that just some other Marry?
Marry: Anyways, are you the one who dropped that star? You've ruined my farm that I put so much work into!
Sakuya: Well, at least it wasn't us...
Sakuya: Though it is true that we were happy that Lucifer's power is increasing.

(Marry's Theme Starts)

Marry: Is that right? Well if this makes you happy, then you must be evil to!
Marry: Did you know? Sheep's blood is a powerful amulet against evil spirits. An underling of the devil is no match for my sheep!

(Marry Defeated)

Marry: Without shedding blood, it can't drive away demons...No matter how hard we try, this is the limit, huh?
Sakuya: You should really be careful before you start shedding blood.
Marry: Ahh, the poor lamb's blood is dying the water red!
Sakuya: The lake really is turning red. I wonder if it's okay to appreciate their will-power.
Sakuya: ...of course there's no time for that.  Not when I have to protect the mistresses!

Stage 2

Sakuya: Earlier I thought something had fallen...
Sakuya: Now that I think about it, the mistress did mention something about a vampire coming here from the outside world...no, that would be impossible.
???: But that impossible is true~

(Corin Enters)

Corin: How cruel, how cruel, greeting your important guest with danmaku is pretty cruel.
Sakuya: My deepest apologies. However, danmaku is Gensokyo's style of greeting.
Corin: That is much more frightening than the outside world. I don't drink blood, so my body is weak you know.
Corin: Please, I would appreciate it if you get along peacefully with me.
Sakuya: Ah, an unbalanced diet? That is unacceptable.
Corin: Well, I wouldn't want to impose on you any further, so please don't worry about it.
Sakuya: Well then, as an exercise in ingenuity, let us devise an original menu to overcome this problem.

(Corin's Theme Starts)

Corin: I said don't worry about it!
Corin: A chamberlain who is hard of hearing like you needs to be taught the true power of a vampire!

(After Battle)

Corin: I know my body is weak, but have vampires really sunk so low as to be losing to humans?
Sakuya: One of the basic principles of a vampire hunter is to confront an enemy whose power you cannot match with wisdom and tools.
Corin: Is that really a line a vampire's maid should say? Enough, I'm tired so I'm heading to the mansion.
Sakuya: In this condition, it is unlikely the mistress will worry. Please give her my regards.
Sakuya: I am going to return to my current duties now.
Corin: Aren't you misunderstanding which of us is of lower rank?

Stage 3

Sakuya: I intended to go back to the forest, but I somehow ended up near the mountains...
Sakuya: Is there someone other than me here who can manipulate space, I wonder?
???: Look, upon the colourful stars of the night sky!

(Phiased Enters)

Phiased: The stars have led you here.
Phiased: The stars that truly carry divine spirits have attracted the person who has the power to feel it.
Phiased: Yes, once I was pulled in the same way.
Sakuya: Why must everyone in Gensokyo care so little about the fact nothing they spit out makes sense?
Phiased: I didn't think what I had said was that difficult to understand, though.
Phiased: Honestly, if only you had learned something like Latin before.
Sakuya: We're communicating through language, right?
Phiased: Mm, we're not communicating through speech it seems.
Sakuya: Then it can't be helped. With a little punishment, I will have you understand the importance of words.

(Phiased's Theme Starts)

Phiased: How cruel. I have never once heard words that were so full of self-contradiction.
Phiased: Regardless, very well.  Against me, who holds the power to read the stars and know the future, a half-hearted barrage will be useless.
Sakuya: I wonder about that. Will the power to predict the future be of any use to you when time has stopped?
Phiased: Then, what if I was able to predict beforehand even the fact that time was going to stop?

(After Defeat)

Phiased: Well, even if I can see the trajectory of the bullets, that doesn't mean I can automatically avoid them.
Sakuya: The same could be said about the stars, could it not? Though I am in the process of investigating the star that fell in the forest.
Phiased: I have an idea about that. Most likely it is an omen that one of great stature will soon appear.
Sakuya: Is that telling of Lucifer's descent? Or perhaps an assassin sent by Amaterasu?
Phiased: You will know soon. That person will shortly appear at the mountain's summit.
Sakuya: If it is one of the family of light, I ought to exterminate them.

Well, here's the first one at least:

Quote
Mima has done her best! No misses! The No Miss run my heart was yearning for! It's finally here. The fact I was only able to clear it via Chicken Play doesn't matter.

Once I'm done putting up all of PoDD, I want to put effort into game production. By the way, in the battle against Ellen, those movements were a fluke.  I can't actually do that.
Surely, >>301 will also be happy, right?

As for the second one...it proved to be more than a match for me  :V

It starts off talking about how when the Professor uses her 2 Gauge attack, if you destroy the fireball like things after all the small fries have been gathered, you can get a lot of points.  Then it starts talking about being unable to clear Mystic Square EX, followed by talking about people wondering why Reimu is the 7th fight, switches to talking about milking Mima (?????) and ends as with: "Hm? It seems someone is coming.  Wait, what are you- (garbled gibberish)."

I feel like every other line in this one was supposed to be a joke that went over my head, so that's about the best I could do with it :x

I decided to try my hand at translating some of the menu descriptions in Concealed the Conclusion while waiting for the rest of the endings to be checked. Naturally, I ended up stuck at a lot of places. Requesting translations for the following:

妖向け、人間の来る難易度ではありません (Lunatic)
懐かしき幻想弾幕 (Extra)
もはや何も言うことはない (Phantasm)
魑魅魍魎と戯れたい方はこちら (Stage Practice)
人妖とお見合いしたい方はこちら (Spell Practice)

(Lunatic)
For Youkais, this difficult level isn't suited for humans.

懐かしき幻想弾幕 (Extra)
The classic (Gensokyo or Illusion?) Danmaku

もはや何も言うことはない (Phantasm)
There is already nothing to say

魑魅魍魎と戯れたい方はこちら (Stage Practice)
This way is for those who want to play with evil spirits of the nature.

人妖とお見合いしたい方はこちら (Spell Practice)
This way is for those who want to see humans and Youkai (together?).

演出用浮遊物体などがウザい・重い場合は 止めてみてください(演出が寂しくなります) (from BG Effect)
If the particles are too heavy or bothering you, please try to stop this ( the game play will become lonely? )

背景がおかしくなるので深刻な表示不都合でない限りOFFにしないでください (from BG Fog)
While you don't have serious problems with the display please don't turn it of because the background can become strange.

背景が途切れて黒くなる場合改善することがあります(但し若干重くなります) (from BG Long-Clip)
This one can help if the background is freezing and becoming black (but other things can become slower).

Oh, I forgot about this. Thank you for translating what you could. (And that dodge he did against Ellen scared me. Glad to hear it was a fluke. ^^;)

And I'm not entirely sure what he's talking about in that second part either. About "milking Mima," that would generally mean prolonging the fight to get more points, in case you weren't familiar with the shooting game lingo. Of course, I can't imagine what he could mean by that in the context of PoDD, seeing as you can't control the duration of the battle. Still confusing. Thanks though.

Quick, before the thread gets locked for inactivity!

Recently I've been trying to juggle a few too many projects, so I haven't been dedicating the time I need to in the places I should.  As a first attempt to make amends, here is the Last Comer stage 4 dialogues.  My goal is to have all of the dialogues done by the end of the week, but we'll have to wait and see how far I get in that.

Anyways, enjoy.

Quote
Stage 4 Reimu

(Mikaboshi Enters)
???: Are you okay with danmaku like that?

(After defeat, Mikaboshi leaves)

Reimu: Strange.  Last time I came here a Tengu patrol was supposed to come around.
???: Ho? That person was a tengu?

(Mikaboshi Enters)

???: She was a hindrance, so I drove her away.  Oh, but don't worry, she wasn't injured.
Reimu: You seem to have a lot of self confidence.  Pretty audacious for a newcomer.
Mikaboshi:  Newcomer? Ah, could it possibly be that you have yet to learn my face?
Mikaboshi: I am the heavenly Mikaboshi, the Morning Star, the one who shows her face at the beginning of each year without fail.
Reimu: Ah, are you Ame no Kagaseo? The gods have been taking rather strange forms lately haven't they...
Mikaboshi: Incorrect.  This is my original form.
Mikaboshi: What you have believed in up until now was nothing more than the form I concealed myself within.
Reimu: In an incident where a star fell, before my eyes is the god of the stars.  Smells fishy, don't you think?
Mikaboshi: Are you serious? I only smell soil, blood, and mold.
Reimu: I'll have to ask you to spit out everything about this incident and your true form. No, I'll make you spit it out.

(Mikaboshi's theme starts)

Mikaboshi: Interesting, how you boast of being the strongest in Gensokyo, yet you are like a frog in a well who knows nothing of the ocean.
Reimu: Of course I don't, there are no oceans in Gensokyo.
Mikaboshi: "He who lives in Hell knows not of Heaven."
Mikaboshi: However, I am different.
Mikaboshi: Come, let us do battle early this year!  I will be taken down as a fake Amaterasu no longer!

(After Defeat)

Mikaboshi: D-do not misunderstand.
Mikaboshi: If someone like me were to go all out, Gensokyo would be in trouble.
Reimu: Is that your losing speech?
Mikaboshi: I speak no lies.  In the outside, I am feared as an infamous demon king.
Reimu: Then why is someone like you in Gensokyo?
Mikaboshi: It will not be long before they appear to fight me. If you value your life, disappear from this place.
Reimu: I wonder if there is someone in Gensokyo who would go home just because they were told to.
Mikaboshi: Don't complain when the Gensokyo who went easy on no one is destroyed this time, then.
Reimu: I know, I know.  Before that happens I'll beat everyone.

Quote
Stage 4 Marisa

(Mikaboshi Enters)
???: Are you okay with danmaku like that?

(After defeat, Mikaboshi leaves)

Marisa: Now now, will an Oni appear? Or maybe a snake?
???: A still different sign appears in the heavens!

(Mikaboshi Enters)

???: Behold, like fire, a great red dragon!
Marisa: What? A Dragon? Where? Where?
Mikaboshi: If you keep looking away like that, you won't even know who it was that devoured you.
Marisa: Whoa, I'm a member of the inedible human race, you know.
Mikaboshi: Indeed, inedible one.
Marisa: You've said something quite offensively pleasant, haven't you?
Mikaboshi: So a woman with relation to the stars has appeared. At last, the bindings of that despicable prophecy are being released.
Mikaboshi: However, I will not allow it.  For the sake of this time, I hid my true form and crossed over to the Orient, and have been storing my power.
Marisa: Huh? Are you not one of the Myriad Native Gods?
Mikaboshi: I had restrained myself until now as a god of the stars, but no longer.

(Mikaboshi's Theme starts)

Mikaboshi: Among the Myriad Native Gods, that was the one which most suited me. Atleast I could use the fingers on both of my hands.
Marisa: I'm strong, you know.  Be careful that you don't end up breaking one of your precious fingers.
Mikaboshi: Mikaboshi is Venus, the Morning Star of twilight whose light is strong enough to destroy everything.
Mikaboshi: Human, who can do not but imitate the power of the stars!  Know the foolishness of defanging the stars!

(After Defeat)

Mikaboshi: I-if someone like me were to go all out, it would cause great difficulty for Gensokyo you know!
Marisa: How dangerous.  I didn't really think you were that strong.
Mikaboshi: Upon closer inspection, it appears you are not the woman of the prophecy. It seems all that effort was for naught.
Marisa: I told you, I'm just an ordinary magician.
Mikaboshi: You never said that.
Marisa: I just did.
Mikaboshi: If you have nothing to do with this, then leave
Mikaboshi: With the prophecy coming to pass, those who hunt me will appear soon.
Mikaboshi: If I fight with my full strength, it is not just this region who will suffer the consequences.
Marisa: Is there someone else here who is that strong? I definitely need to meet them.
Mikaboshi: Ahh, no matter how many thousands of years pass, humans are just as foolish as ever.  I worry far too much
about them.

Quote
Stage 4 Sakuya

(Mikaboshi Enters)
???: Are you okay with danmaku like that?

(After defeat, Mikaboshi leaves)

Sakuya: The small fry are quite lively.  I wonder if they are being influenced by Lucifer's power.
???: Lucifer, hm? What a nostalgic name.

(Mikaboshi Enters)

???: There was indeed a time where even I called myself that.
Sakuya: You are Lucifer? You look considerably different then I had imagined.
Mikaboshi: Hopes that raise themselves are often dashed. This is why humans are such a pain.
Mikaboshi: When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
Mikaboshi: Jeans seem quite popular in the outside world, but I've heard good things about Kimonos as well.
Sakuya: Considering the power you hold, is your appearance and loss at the beginning of each year an act?
Sakuya: The denizens of the night and darkness would like to win every once in a while you know.
Mikaboshi: Exaggerated words will receive appropriate force. If you would like to learn that, then speak.
Mikaboshi: You bark well for a weak dog, dog of the devil.
Sakuya: Then, to exemplify your power, would you please go all out? Little devil who has stolen the devil king's name

(Mikaboshi's Theme Starts)

Mikaboshi: Someone perfect for giving me some after meal exercise has shown up, haven't they?
Mikaboshi: Do you know why I've been alternating between these fake forms?
Sakuya: It's kind of depressing to hear those words from the Demon King Lucifer herself.
Sakuya: You who carries the greatest power of the West seem to be afraid of something similar to the Myriad Native Gods
Mikaboshi: Lucifer is one who was robed in Light.  Ame no Kagaseo was one who shone in the Heavens.
Mikaboshi: The Morning Star in the darkness is a star that shines especially brightly.
Mikaboshi: Let those eyes which are too tainted to recognize my true nature be crushed by my light!

(After Defeat)

Mikaboshi: Let us leave it at that then. Carelessly going all out would cause great problems.
Sakuya: I want to say being a sore loser is unsightly, but it looks like you still have plenty of left over energy after
all.
Mikaboshi: Why do I suppress my power, and hide my true form? I will tell you as a reward for surviving this far
Mikaboshi: It was not to deceive the Myriad Native Gods, but instead to deceive "them."
Mikaboshi: There are signs of their coming being soon.
Mikaboshi: The star that fell into the forest could be seen as the star of prophecy signalling that I and they would be
reconnected once more.
Sakuya: So it wasn't you're doing.  Thank you, I no longer have any use for you.

PS Sakuya's route gave me an awful lot of trouble compared to the other two, so I apologize in advance for the mistakes I inevitably made.

カードモンスターズ means "Card Monsters"

As for the link...

Quote
A "new" system of duelling for a Gensokyo with too much free time!

Spell Card Battles are now out of date!
The method of duelling, involving summoning monsters and making them fight, is turning Gensokyo into a living hell!

What will happen to Gensokyo!? What will happen to the Shrine Maiden of Hakurei!?
Above all, will distribution at the Winter Comiket go safely!!!?

Are people even still reading these? lol

Anyways, stage 5 dialogue for the Last Comer.  I know I said I was going to do a batch of 4, 5, 6, and maybe extra stage, but I seriously underestimated how long these got in the later half of the game, so with my time constraints this is the best I've got for now.

Enjoy!

Quote
Stage 5 Reimu

(Midboss)

??? (Janet): The enemy has broken through the first defense line!
??? (Michel): Shoot, shoot, keep shooting! Don't let a single one of Satan's minions pass through!

(Janet Enters)
(Janet Defeated)

(Midboss 2)

??? (Janet): They've broken through the final line of defense!
??? (Michel): What kind of monster is this person? No more watching, I'm going out!

(Final Boss)

Reimu: Now it's an army all clothed in white? What on earth is going on here?
???: It's coming, the kingdom of Heaven...

(Michel Enters)

???: On the final day, man shall stand before The Lord
Reimu: ...what?
Michel: If one dies in their sinful state, they will be sent to hell for eternity.  But if one repents, then eternal life shall be bestowed upon them.
Reimu: Are you a spy for Enma? Though I thought I had already been condemned to hell.
Michel: No need to worry. I shall bestow upon you a mark.
Michel: Those who bear this mark shall find happiness. It shall protect you from the beginning of the end that is about to come to pass.
Reimu: Come to think of it, that red one also said something like this...
Reimu: Who are you people? What are you doing in Gensokyo!?
Michel: The battle of Light and Darkness written of in the prophecy.  However, righteous people have no need to fear.

(Michel's Theme Starts)

Michel: Even the earth that will be burned to dust by this conflict will soon be saved by The Lord.
Michel: Until that wicked demon king is defeated, please take refuge in these mountains.
Reimu: Don't mess with me!  Gensokyo isn't about to be destroyed!
Reimu: Ahh, I get it.  You people are those pagan gods, aren't you?
Reimu: How dare you shamelessly come here and cause so much trouble for us.
Michel: ...if that sealed book hadn't entered into fantasy, something like this...
Reimu: Do you honestly think Gensokyo will just stand by and take this?
Reimu: I've beaten the Demon King of Darkness.  If I can stop the Light side as well, then your prophecy won't happen at all!
Michel: You defeated that Demon King...!? Impossible, that kind of prophecy doesn't exist
Michel: Know your place! Among all of the Lord's creations, the angels are the most powerful!

(After Defeat)

Michel: Gah, you're good.
Michel: If it was you, then maybe you could have defeated that wicked one.
Reimu: I already said I beat her, didn't I?
Reimu: Though I did want to test how strong you guys actually were.
Michel: ...hm? The fire in the forest has disappeared...and the red water has returned to normal...
Michel: No way, did you stopping us throw off the prophecy, and cause us to lose our power?
Reimu: This is Gensokyo.  There's no way a prophecy with no believers would come to pass.
Michel: Ahh, thank goodness. With this, my mistake will end much better than I had anticipated.
Michel: Oh...a light from the top of the mountain? Wait, no way!
Reimu: There are still more of you I see!

Quote
Stage 5 Marisa

(Midboss)

Marisa: I can't stand all this light. Who are these shining white people?
???: Repent, for the Kingdom of God is near!

(Michel Enters)

???: On the final day, man shall stand before The Lord
Marisa: Is this your first time here? Gensokyo was already the land of the gods from the start.
Michel: That's right.  To the people of this country, our Heavenly Father must not be translated as 'God.'
Michel: Believe in Deus, for he will forgive even a criminal.
Marisa: Ah, you're one of those Christian folk aren't you?  I have one of your tablets, by the way.
Michel: A tool to temper your faith daily, yes? Wonderful.
Marisa: I hate hot things, you know? Stepping on it barefoot in the summer time feels really great

(Michel's theme starts)

Michel: Y-you!
Marisa: Eh, it's called a Stepping Picture, but stepping on it is a trap isn't it?*
Michel: W-well, that's fine.
Michel: Soon, the final battle written of in the prophecy will begin.
Michel: Us angels must take responsibility and protect you people of Gensokyo.
Marisa: Ah, please do.  That poor little girl should be protected.
Michel: However, a sinful person like you will not be saved so simply! Before ascending to heaven, your sins must be burned away in the flames of Purgatory!

(After Defeat)

Michel: What is this? Your sins even push away the flames of God?
Marisa: I really don't like hot things.  Please, indulge me.
Michel: ...Hm? The fire in the forest has vanished...and the red water has returned to normal...
Michel: Impossible...have you overturned the prophecy?
Marisa:  This is Gensokyo.  Just like always, when you beat the boss, the incident is over.  That's all there is to it.
Michel: I don't understand what you're...huh? A light from the top of the mountain!? This is...no way!
Marisa: Ah, that's right.  Just like always, there's one big shot left, isn't there?

*The word Marisa uses that I translated as 'tablet' above is called 踏み絵 in Japanese, literally 'Stepping Picture.' Apparently, these were tablets with Christian depictions on them that the early Edo government would make suspected Christians walk on to prove they weren't, well, Christians.  Thus, the rest of the dialogue.

Stage 5 Sakuya

(Midboss)

Sakuya: There's an awful lot of unnecessarily gleaming people here.  Do their clothes have lightbulbs in them or something?
???: Fufu, is our form to brilliant for the forerunner of Satan?

(Michel Enters)

Michel: A human without the mark has no business on this mountain.  If you're here, you must be a servant of the devil.
Sakuya: Well, you aren't exactly wrong, but...
Michel: No one can overturn the prophecy.  Before us, the Army of Heaven, the forces of darkness will be torn asunder.
Michel: Now, without delay, repent and become one of us.
Sakuya: After all that trouble, quitting like this would be...
Sakuya: If I don't hurry up and go back to make dinner, the mistresses will be trembling.
Michel: Then fear not.  Those of darkness will be totally immersed in the bath of flame and sulphur that is being prepared for them.
Sakuya: Unfortunately, we are not in the habit of taking baths.
Michel: Acting like a hippy? So this is what happens when you don't have an island to cling to.

(Michel's Theme Starts)

Michel: Fine. Thinking that I could communicate with an evil one such as you was foolishness.
Sakuya: After all, it's going to be a danmaku battle isn't it.  It was good, coming from the front and the back like that.
Michel: Very well, if that's what you want, then so be it.
Sakuya: At any rate, you people are our enemies, being denizens of the noonday light.
Michel: This mountain is Gensokyo's Promised Land. This is the place that will protect the children of men from the battle between light and darkness that is about to begin.
Michel: Human who's heart has been stolen by Satan! I will not permit you to climb this holy mountain any further!

(After Defeat)

Michel: Ridiculous, an angel losing to a demon!?
Sakuya: Yes, I knocked down the king of demons just a little bit earlier too.
Michel: My older sister*!? What is the meaning of this?
Michel: The prophecy didn't say a word about a human like this...
Sakuya: If my predictions are correct, that prophecy was something written 1900 years ago.
Sakuya: It would be strange if something that old could predict the future so perfectly.
Michel: Gah, this is bad...
Michel: Letting the prophecy get delayed by some demon, it doesn't seem like I'll be able to avoid being punished this time
Michel: This light...n-no! Is that one coming down to deliver judgment upon me?!
Sakuya: So this one is unrelated to that meteorite.  It seems I'll have to go see this person for myself.

*Older Sister: In Christian Tradition, Lucifer/Satan was an Angel that had been thrown out of heaven.  Thus, Michel here is referring to Lucifer (or in this case, Mikaboshi) when she says this.

Got so distracted by that touhou glasses thread that I almost forgot to post this >.>

Here's the stage 6 Dialogue for The Last Comer.

Because doing this at 5:50 AM is good for you, right?

......right?

Quote
Stage 6 Reimu

Sanae: What is the meaning of this, Reimu!
Sanae: The only one who should have been able to take down the God of the Stars was someone like you...
Sanae: Acting like this all over our mountain...I will never allow this!

(After Defeat)

Reimu: I-itchy! My whole body is itchy! And unbearably hot!
Reimu: What is this? What are they?  Have they come to spread a fever over all of Gensokyo!?
???: Repentance has been completed.

(Iesua Enters)

Iesua: I am the Alpha and Omega.  I am the beginning and the end.
Reimu: Huh?
Iesua: The prophecy of the end appearing in Gensokyo was truly fortunate.
Iesua: Look at the Morning Star, shining in the sky. By the power of the prophecy, that old snake has been drawn out.
Iesua: Yes, Lucifer, Satan, however you are called, that evil snake.
Reimu: Uhhh, you are those pagan gods, right? You speak Japanese?
Iesua: For 2000 years, I have awaited this moment.
Iesua: This time, when My Father is reunited with the children of men, when I am reunited with that demon king.
Iesua: I must liberate those souls captured by Satan.
Iesua: This is what I wished for as a human.
Reimu: You recklessly stirred up this calamity over such self-centered circumstances? All the more reason for me not to forgive you.

(Iesua's Theme Starts)

Iesua: ...this girl's sin...is Pride.
Iesua: Ah, she also is being taken by Satan's wicked hand once again.
Reimu: Why is it wrong for strong people to be proud!? If you don't have anything else to say, I'm just going to hurry up and hit you!
Iesua: It is said, 'An Eye for an Eye, a Tooth for a Tooth.' However, I dare to suggest something else. Do not strike back at an evil person.
Iesua: Yes, if one strikes your right cheek, then give them your left.
Iesua: I shall forgive you, for your hand will not even reach this face, the face of the child of God!
Reimu: Ridiculous! Do you not even know whether it's better to hit someone or get hit by someone?!
Iesua: You who have had their hearts stolen by Satan! Be consumed by the wrath of God!

Quote
Stage 6 Marisa

Sanae: What is the meaning of this, Marisa! Using your Master Spark so recklessly in the Wind God's lake...
Sanae: Acting like this all over our mountain...I will never allow this!

(After Defeat)

Marisa: The morning star is shining so hugely...Ooh, not good, not good! I'm starting to get a tan!
???: Repentance has been completed.

(Iesua Enters)

???: Let those who are thirsty drink from the fountain of life without cost.
Marisa: Hoho, the last boss has the water property, huh? What an unusual, refreshing feeling!
Iesua: Indeed, for I am the fisher of men.
Iesua: Without a net or a harpoon, I catch those who have been forgiven.
Marisa: Enma, Angels, and sinful humans who have just given up.  I'm forgiven, huh?
Iesua: Starting with Adam and Eve, and also all humans who will be born in the future.
Iesua: They will all be granted forgiveness. My blood was shed in the past for this reason.
Iesua: It seems you do not remember this form..."The saint was crucified upon the Cross"
Marisa: "And humanity adopted the decimal system" is what I see.  Forgive that too, please.
Iesua: It is forgiven.  Even if you, who is forgiven, do not repent.
Marisa: If even bad people will be saved, that just means we need to hurry up and do as many bad things as possible, right?
Iesua: Aah, humanity continues to trample upon the heart of God. The sadness of it is breaking my heart.
Iesua: Father, I beg of you, do not hold this sin against them.
Marisa: Why does the great human race always think over everything so hard, and make everything so much more painful?
Marisa: The shrine maiden said so.  Naturally, all people have Ten Desires.
Marisa: Therefore, if you can live faithfully and honestly to your desires, isn't that fine?
Marisa: And my desire is...usable by you.  A yet unknown technique seems good.

(Iesua's Theme Starts)

Iesua: ...this girl's sin...is "Avarice."
Iesua: Aah, the Son of God has finally passed into the hands of sinners.  Foolishness.
Iesua: He who lives by the sword will without a doubt die by the sword.
Marisa: It's okay, that doesn't scare me.  In Gensokyo, we have the best doctor in the entire universe you know!
Iesua: A healthy person has no need of a doctor.
Iesua: I was born not for the sake of the good, but so that I might guide the sinful and the suffering!

Quote
Stage 6 Sakuya

Sanae: What is the meaning of this, Miss Maid! You vile succubus, who partakes with the devil king who resides in the lake...
Sanae: Acting like this all over our mountain...I will never allow this!

(After Defeat)

Sakuya: Thanks to the angels, even though its night, its as bright as day out here.
Sakuya: It seems leaving the Mistress at home was the correct choice.
???: You have done what is right.

(Iesua Enters)

Iesua: Now, bearing that holy flame, return to the house of the devil.
Iesua: What you must do lies there.
Sakuya: What I have to do is different.  First I have to discover the origin of the meteorite.
Iesua: You must not be bound by old laws, only believe in your Heavenly Father.
Sakuya: The fall of that meteorite was because of you, correct?
Iesua: Let me give you an example.  Two people each tried to bring down a pebble and a star.
Iesua: If I were to remove those stones for them, the removal of which would earn me their thanks?
Sakuya: So you did cause the star to fall, right?
Iesua: He who dropped the star bears more sin than anyone.
Iesua: However, he has given much to the Son of God.  I wish to forgive him.
Sakuya: Up until now, there has been no one who was more difficult to talk to than you, huh?
Sakuya: However, I understand that it seems like I cannot forgive you.
Iesua: You are a child of man, so why do you ignore the voice of God, and continue to sell your soul to Satan?
Sakuya: I was saved by a vampire once.  I don't remember ever being saved by God.

(Iesua's Theme starts)

Iesua: ...this girl's sin...is "Sloth."
Iesua: Ignorance is not a sin.  Knowing and doing nothing, is.
Sakuya: In addition, there is one more thing that I should do.
Sakuya: As per the Mistress' orders, exterminate anyone who would be a bringer of light!
Iesua: Aah, woe upon he who betrays the Son of God.
Iesua: For that person, it would be better if they had never been born!

This will prioritize image rendering. If images are not rendered properly or performance is slower, try turning this option off.

Extra stage dialogue for the Last Comer.  I know I'm not particularly fast at this, but the Epilogues are going to take more time and effort to go through than these dialogues because of the nature of the files, so please have patience with me 8D

Quote
Reimu Extra Stage

Marry: I don't really know why, but those angels gave me a good scolding, so I'm not going to play with that prophecy book anymore.
Marry: So from now on, you are my toy!
Phiased: I came to investigate that fallen star.  Well then, instead of a normal greeting, how about we have a one-shot game instead!
Phiased: You can't see stars well in the middle of the day?
Phiased: Therefore I'm weak?
Phiased: Laughable. A star you can see during the daytime is just that much stronger!

(Marry and Phiased Defeated)

Reimu: That meteorite may have had nothing to do with Iesua, but then what on Earth was it?
Reimu: It's quite troubling, having that kind of space garbage appearing in Gensokyo purposefully.
???: It appeared in Gensokyo on purpose.

(Elfin Enters)

???: Yes, because this is the final place for those who have been forgotten.
Reimu: Ah? Does this fairy-like person have some business with me?
Elfin: If it isn't that modern, hot blooded shrine maiden. Come, relax to the smell of this herb which grew here in the forest.
Reimu: Wow, somehow I've actually become really calm.  For being a fairy, you have a pretty amazing ability.
Elfin: This is the star of Hades, which was forgotten by man. I wouldn't forget this star, so for that reason it has come here.
Reimu: So, you're related to that troublesome star, are you? Guess I'll have to shoot a bunch of holes in you.
Elfin: -!?
Elfin: What's going on here?
Elfin: With the power of Mint, your mind is supposed to be calmed.  You aren't supposed to feel like fighting for another half a day.
Reimu: We have no desire to stylishly indulge in an afternoon nap, I'm afraid.
Reimu: Putting the brain and mind to rest, and sinking into a state of freedom from wordly thoughts and desires.
Reimu: After all, there are at least two people in Gensokyo who can fight perfectly fine while unconscious!

(Elfin's Theme Starts)

Elfin: Freedom from worldly thoughts and desires...many humans yearn for that.  It is a yet unperfected ultimate secret.
Elfin: I want to see how long my power, which was used to create the Mint, can last against you!
Elfin: And like everyone, caught up in thoughts about others and memories of the past, I also want to arrive at that

state of perfect serenity!

(After Defeat)

Reimu: So you and Iesua have no relationship at all?
Elfin: The people of this country are always making mistakes
Elfin: Those people's leader is Deus.  Our leader is Zeus.
Reimu: Your attacks seemed pretty similar to those angels' though.
Elfin: The angels of Olympus all use bows.  With this, you've become just a little smarter.
Reimu: Then, what on Earth are you?
Elfin: A fairy.
Reimu: Do you honestly expect me to believe such a strong fairy exists? Stop with the jokes.*
Elfin: Wow, it just got incredibly cold.
Reimu: Why don't you set some of the grass here on fire then?*
Elfin: Fairies...in our country, we were also called things like Nymphs and Elves.
Elfin: Compared to the young ones around here, we are ancient fairies that have lived for thousands of years.
Reimu: So you are a granny fairy looking for a place to settle down in your old age?
Elfin: This meteorite will become my final resting place.
Reimu: That's fine.  It's within sight of the shrine, so it won't cause any suspicion.
Reimu: As long as you stay afraid of my shadow and live quietly.
Elfin: (Well, I'll eventually cover that shrine in mint and water things down a bit.)

*In the original Japanese, Reimu works this phrase into a pun.  She uses the phrase (joudan wa yose), which literally means pretty much what I've translated up there, but she extends the vowels on the last word (so it looks more like joudan wa yousei), making it homophonous with the word (妖精: yousei), which means 'fairy.'

*Reimu has suddendly decided to be a pun master.  The word she uses in this phrase for 'setting fire' is homophonous with the word for 'mint' or 'Japanese Peppermint.'  In case you are interested, all previous instanced of the word 'mint' in the dialogue were written in English, so this is the first time they've made allusions to the Japanese rendition of the word.

(Marry and Phiased Defeated)

Marisa: Fufufu, if you're talking about Meteorites you are talking about rare metals, and if you're talking about rare metals you're talking about catalysts for high level magic.
Marisa: Alright, before Reimu show's up, let's finish my work.
???: Please leave that alone.

(Elfin Enters)

???: That green-loving person was really kind.
Elfin: At long last, he was released from the dark, cold realm of Hades, and has now come to the world of water, greenery, and sunshine.
Marisa: Wait, sound?  Am I dreaming or something?  Some small fry is suddenly talking about some pretty difficult stuff.
Marisa: Well, whatever.  I'll just take her down and get on with my collecting of rare metals.
Elfin: Now now, sniff some herbs and calm down.
Elfin: Around this whole area, my power is booming. A carpet of Mint.  There is no escape.
Marisa: What's this...? Suddenly I really feel calmed down...
Marisa: Whoa whoa whoa, this isn't the place for a danmaku battle!
Elfin: This is the one that humans revered as the Dark King, praised as the Ninth Star.
Elfin: However, that is also just an old story.
Elfin: At long last he has been forgotten by man, and can live peacefully in Gensokyo.
Elfin: And I also can at long last live by his side.  I won't let you get in the way...wait, are you even listening to me?
Marisa: ...hm? Oh, sorry, I wasn't listening.  Since my mind was done in by your power it seems.
Marisa: If something like this was prepared as a magic potion, it could make someone fall unconscious and reboot.
Elfin: ...you are a quite skilled fighter, aren't you? Well, too bad for you.
Elfin: I will defeat you.  The opponent before you is not just some small fry fairy.
Marisa: Oh, I figured that out from your technique just now.
Marisa: In that case, I won't need to hold back by using lasers that don't hurt even if they hit!

(Elfin's Theme Starts)

Elfin: Avaricious human, leave us alone!
Elfin: This charred forest, these magic mushrooms, I'll cover them all with mint!
Elfin: That way, we can make this place our final resting place!

(After Defeat)

Elfin: Losing to a human...maybe I've grown too old for this.
Elfin: However, compared to the princess' wrath, this is nothing.
Marisa: I don't really understand the old stories, but I do understand the fear of a woman's tenacity quite well.
Elfin: This star is the one remaining symbol of the King of Darkness.  I beg of you, please don't carry it away for the sake of greed.
Marisa: A human's ten desires cannot be restrained.  If you try, they will definitely explode in some other form.
Marisa: That calming herb you carry around looks like it sure has a lot of uses...
Elfin: Take as much as you like.
Marisa: Very well! A fairy's things are my things, and my things are my things!
Marisa: Well, these herbs grow fairly well, so I only need a little.
Marisa: Then, farewell, oh strong fairy.
Marisa: To stop Reimu from noticing, let's get along nice and quietly.
Elfin: ...you know a lot of about the power of plants.  This is the first time I've met such a masterful human.
Elfin: However, because of that self-confidence, you've made a fatal mistake.
Elfin: The reproduction ability of this Mint is not the same as that of the Japanese Peppermint.
Elfin: Thank you, now, without me having to do anything, you people will cover all of Gensokyo in greenery.
Elfin: Now Dark King, this time we shall be together...

Quote
Marry: I don't really know why, but those angels gave me a good scolding, so I'm not going to play with that prophecy book anymore.
Marry: So from now on, you are my toy!
Phiased: I came to investigate that fallen star.  Well then, instead of a normal greeting, how about we have a one-shot game instead!
Phiased: You can't see stars well in the middle of the day?
Phiased: Therefore I'm weak?
Phiased: Laughable. A star you can see during the daytime is just that much stronger!

(Marry and Phiased Defeated)

Sakuya: Because of Iesua's hard to understand examples, I was mistaken the whole time as to who was the culprit.
Sakuya: If it wasn't them, then who? And for what reason?
???: Something like a culprit...doesn't exist.

(Elfin Enters)

???: The reason this star fell was because of you humans.
Sakuya: Another fairy...is this the start of the Second Great Fairy War?
Elfin: The star of Hades that humans named, revered, and then forgot all at their own convenience.
Elfin: What kind of situation are you going to selfishly push on us now?
Sakuya: If you are going to make me say it, then nothing in particular.
Elfin: The scent of mint calms the heart.
Elfin: After that happened, I covered this burnt area with a carpet of Mint.
Elfin: And like that, I forced you people into peace.  So that no one would approach this star.
Sakuya: That's too bad.  I now understand your powers.  For someone like me who can manipulate space, an airborne infection will have no effect.
Elfin: Then...as the one who created Mint, I just have to force you out with all my power!
Sakuya: The founder of mint alone?*
Sakuya: Very well, allow me to scout the potential of this apparently strong fairy!

(Elfin's Theme Starts)

Elfin: It'll be troublesome if you just look down on me as a normal fairy.
Elfin: Starting as a single mint plant, two are born.  And from two, four.
Elfin: This process has continued for thousands of years! So, what kind of astronomical figure has it reached by now?!

(After Defeat)

Elfin: Losing to a human...maybe I'm getting too old for this.
Sakuya: If you say something like that with the way you look, you're really just going to be picking fights with more people.
Elfin: I have a form like this because of the Princess' wrath.
Elfin: While that person's Princess still existed, he made me into something no more than an elf...
Sakuya: It definitely seems like you're just trying to pick a fight.
Elfin: It definitely seems like it would be better for you to let yourself be calmed by the scent of Mint.
Elfin: Here, I'll give you this flower, so try making some black tea with it.  It will make you feel really calm.
Sakuya: It definitely seems you're just trying to sell me flowers.*  Well, I've gone through all this trouble, maybe I'll try it out on Meiling.
Elfin: After that, you might understand.
Elfin: If you find the flowers of mint that took root on June 24th, eternal happiness will be promised for you.
Elfin: If you can't find it, then come here, bringing the thing that you should bring.
Sakuya: Using an old legend to try and earn yourself some pocket money.  How hard are you going to try and sell me these?
Elfin: You've only lived for ten or twenty years.  I guess you wouldn't understand my reasons.
Elfin: All old legends from all places and all times that were related to Mint were put there by me.

*This is a pun in the original Japanese.  The word Elfin and Sakuya use for 'founder,' or as I translated for Elfin's line 'one who created,' is pronounced (shiso).  Sakuya uses a different word to say mint this time, which is read as (shisoka).

*This is also sort of punny.  The phrase Sakuya was using to say 'to pick a fight' (kenka o urareteru) sounds exactly the same as the phrase she uses to say 'to sell flowers.'

-------

As a bonus, it also says at the end of the Extra Stage dialogue that if you start with 2 lives or less, and clear the game with atleast 2 lives and 3 bombs on normal or higher without continuing that you get a special ending.  The files list an ending for each character and then a 'true end,' so I suspect that's what it's talking about.  Don't think it has anything to do with the extra stage, but that's what it says xD

A comic featuring (a somewhat sinister-looking) Yumemi, Chiyuri, Renko, and Maribel. If any of you has the time for this, I'd really appreciate it. I just wanna see more Yumemi ;_;

I believe this is would be the proper place to put this, but if not let me know. I started uploading the Japanese dialogue from The Last Comer onto the Wiki (only had time for Reimu's scenario since I have other business to attend to tonight). As I just learned earlier today, TwilightsCall already translated the dialogue, and if he or anyone else is willing they can put up the English translation as well. Hopefully this should get the ball rolling, since having the Japanese text on the Wiki proper should help people confirm or improve on TwilightsCall's translation.

EDIT: Oh, and an actual translation request from me, almost forgot about it. The stage titles for The Last Comer, basically. Since I'm having trouble finding or otherwise obtaining text versions of the titles, I've been unable to translate them with my primitive Google means :V, or upload the Japanese text onto the above Wiki page.

Thank you so much. I'll put these on the Wiki.

I believe there are also portions of the stage titles that include the stage number (it'll read "Stage X" plus text). Do you have those available too?

Yes, those are the ones. Thanks again.

I have the other 5 scenario pages up, so the Japanese text is available to everyone now.

Can someone translate this:
幻想郷と天貫の大樹

Gensokyo and the Heaven-Piercing Great Tree, I think. Can't think of any fancier word for 大樹.
Unless 天貫 happens to be a Proper Noun.
How about Touhou Labyrinth 2?

EDIT : Sky-Piercing is also possible. Depends on context.
