There is a lot of attempted cheating going on tonight!

The server keeps full logs of every votecode request, including those refused. If the attempted cheating continues, I will run the list of attempted cheaters by the forums administration, and they can tell me which forum user matches that request. Then we will publish a list of all the attempted cheaters for everyone to laugh at and make fun of, for being so lame as to try to cheat.

Also, since the server keeps full logs of every vote, accepted and otherwise, I can manually check EVERY vote after the end of a match.
This means:

ANY VOTES FOUND TO BE CHEATING AFTER THE FACT WILL BE DELETED.
ANY ROUNDS WON BY CHEATING CAN BE LOST AFTER SAID MANUAL CHECKING! (THIS INCLUDES USING LINODES OR OTHER VPS HOSTS TO VOTE!)
DO NOT ASSUME THAT JUST BECAUSE YOU SNUCK A PROXY OR VPS PAST THE COMPUTER THAT IT WON'T GET CAUGHT LATER. I DO CHECK THEM ALL BY HAND.

You are connecting through an open proxy.  Basically the server you are connecting through (which your connection to us is originating from) allows anyone on the Internet to connect through it, allowing people to do all sorts of nasty shit anonymously and just ruining the lives of sysadmins like me and Suzuran.  It has already been recorded doing malicious shit like spamming and wiki vandalism and other unsavory things so it was stuck on a blacklist so sysadmins can filter it out.

If this is willingly, then turn it off and connect normally and stop trying to cheat.  If this is unwillingly then you need to bitch at your admin who runs the server (unless this is your server then FFS never run Squid with a default setup) to fix their shit so they're no longer spewing spam and other nasty stuff.  Either way the decision to block was based on behavior of the IP you're connecting from and will not be overridden.   Clean your act up so your IP is no longer on blacklists.

Okay... This might sound a bit forced, but in this group I see only one option: Yuka Kazami!

Hmm. Vote count has gone up for the most part as the first round wears on. Mind you, there were a few real popular characters yesterday, but it's good to see this get a bit more attention. As for match 10, well, I can see that as a gimme round with one character that trumped the others quite easily.

As for today, I'll be voting both against the meme and for a character I genuinely find to be moe. And I'll be actively antagonizing Yuuka well past this round simply because I think she has negative moe points. Her canon personality makes her out to be an antisocial liar on a good day while her fanon one involves ten times as much gore as the rest of the cast combined. I'm going to vote for characters that don't make my stomach churn. Besides, I know I wasn't the only one who was sold on the idea of Kogasa being the new (and genuine) youkai moe by the time she popped up again in TD.

The long and short of my impression of Yuuka is that her negative attributes have been emphasized to an extreme degree while her positive ones are only mentioned in passing if at all, which makes them seem dubious. Either way, moe doesn't enter into the equation.
