Shiki: Slightly above shoulder with long boyish bangs
Sakuya and Futo: Messy and moderately spiky
Yukari: A thick curly fox-tail held back with a braid (exactly like Cure Rhythm) :V

Reimu: Both short and long versions, perhaps long more-so.
Yuuka: Short wavy hair.
Yuyuko: Short.
Yukari: Her pinned up hair, or simply out. I've never liked the bows.
Shikieiki: Shoulder-length or just a bit above. One side longer than the other.

Waifu talk is similar to power level talk: people engaging in pointless pissing contests over who the best girl is. Waifu talk also tends to verge into the creepy very quickly. After some sour incidences with it in the past, we made it a point to discourage talking about fictional video game characters in a romantic way. By all means, talk about your favorites and why you like them; just leave out the "oh god i wanna move to gennsokyuo an hav her babbies" talk.

 Reimu: Best with short hair, or shoulder length hair at most.
Eirin: I like her best with her hair loose.
...although...hm, ponytails.....they look really nice....

Ex-Rumia: Long hair down to the middle of her upper arm
Reimu: Short hair and ponytail
Mokou: A bit of hair in a small ponytail, but most of it down.
Remilia: Slightly spiky/wavy shoulder-length hair
Yuyuko: Wavy and just below her shoulders
Yukari: PCB style
