Just thought of this while playing Pokemon White. Any Pokemon that remind you of Touhou characters?

Gyarados- Flandre
Audino- Eirin
Froslass- Letty
Dewott- Youmu
Purrloin- Tewi
Patrat- Nazrin
Blaziken- Mokou
Mismagius- Marisa
Lucario- Meiling

Pidgey = Aya
Spearow = Hatate.

No one uses spearow and pidgeys better so yeah :4

Well, these are the Pokemon in my Pokemon Diamond team that have Touhou names...

Roserade (Yuuka)
Luxray (Iku)
Pikachu (Flan)
Charizard [got it as a Charmander from my cousin] (Mokou)
Lucario (Tenshi) I don't even know why I named it Tenshi .__. I just flows nicely to me...

There was a pool on Danbooru where a particular artist draws various Touhou characters partnered with Pokemon that suit them, but most of the pics in that pool has been deleted because... Well, it seems that someone doesn't like the idea of both series being mashed together, and that person complained about the art style as well.

Anyway...

Sakuya = Dialga
Yukari = Palkia

The resemblances between them are uncanny... Sakuya and Dialga both control time and have blue as part of their color schemes. Yukari and Palkia can both control border/space and they both have pink/purple as part of their color schemes.

I noticed that some time ago, and it's really interesting. Taking it another step, Dialga's Steel-type could be related to Sakuya's knives.

Actually, Think of it this way: Controlling space is, in the same manner, is being able to go from place to place via will. As in, Yukaris' Border Manipulation is the same as controlling space. And in controlling space, you are controlling matter and mass. And in controlling matter and mass, you can control everything. Suika can shrink her size and split up, So could Yukari if she willed it. She could also slow down or halt time if she willed it as well. Sakuya mostly focus's on time manipulation.

Well I named every one of my Pokemon in Black version after the closest-fitting Touhou character, so..

Most fitting are my Mokou-Victini, Satori-Munna, and Genji-Boldore(The only male in my team).

Scraggy - Mokou (Pants and kickassery)
Weavile - Aya (SPEED and rather devious)
Deino - Flandre (Destructive and practically blind about it)

Speed Deoxys or Ninjask would fit better since they're the top two fastest Pokemon.

Deoxys would already be taken by Nue, all forms actually.
