By action, I cannot help. (Even donations.) But in mind and heart, I am helping.

It's the thought that matters, right?

For every dollar donated, you'll automatically get a ticket in a raffle I'm running. It's a small mystery prize that'll be announced with the winner. The more you donate, the better your chances of winning.
Tewi running a raffle? I call SHENANIGANS.  :V

Seriously though. Let me sort some stuff out with my bank and I'll gladly chip in more funds.

Fortune has been kind to me lately; why not spread it to those who need it more?

Interesting. Maybe it will get more people to donate.

Hey TSO, can you put it in the OP?

My family don't have much money to spare, but I still have 10 dollars from my birthday leftover.

Also, already $1400 had been donated?

Also, Congrats on almost reaching 1.5k. I'm really suprised that all of you have this much money to donate, along with the fact that not everyone on the forum has yet donated.

Welp, screw the concept of keeping money back in case of something, the people of Japan can use it more than I can.

$15 to the cause~

That feels good.

A preliminary survey of the donation figures indicate that it'd be better to run the draw simply as donation = entry. So no matter what you can give, as long as you do, you have a chance to win.

How long is this going for? I'd like to give some with each paycheck, but paypal won't work with my PS3 browser, so my first donation will have to wait a few days

Donated a bit earlier to try to get the count up to 2000.00, but apparently someone else did too, and it went over. You guys are amazing. <3

here a question I saw at the tv today

"Would you help Japan in their moment of crisis?"

.....
79% said no ....
....
my country deserve no less than be hit by an earthquake + tsunami + Volcano + meteor
Stupid country
80% said yes to help Haiti .... why no to Japan ... stupid Canadians (I'm Canadian and shocked by seeing that)

I think its because people think Japan can fend for themselves, while haiti couldn't.
Yet people are still donating to haiti and its not getting better.

Just goes to show that common sense isnt that common.

One entry per donator, or one entry per donation? Because if it's the latter then I could see someone out there splitting their contribution into tons of minimum-size donations to boost their chances :V

(Also, the reason I haven't donated yet is that my Amazon and PayPal accounts aren't set up yet. I am planning to donate once my PayPal account is ready.)

Per donator.  If you say in this thread you donated, we're going to take you at your word and give you the donator badge and Pesco will give you an entry in his drawing.  If you don't post here you donated, your donation will be considered anonymous.  If you don't want to be entered then say so.

I suppose I should mention that I dropped $20 in there when this thread first went up, then. I'm not going to participate in the drawing, though.
