First Touhou-related music I heard was a SMW-style Tomboyish Girl remix in a TAS video (without knowing it was Touhou music). Then I found out the original was actually a Touhou track when fighting Cirno for the first time and thinking "this sounds familiar...".

First original: Scarlet Beyond a Crimson Dream.

Vocal: GrilledBird, Innocent Key's Immortal Smoke/Extend Ash amazing vocal mix.

Yes, the first Touhou track I heard was the menu theme of PCB. It's why it holds a special place in my heart, no matter how annoyed I get at Yuyuko.

Instrumental Remix: Night of Nights (Flowering Night)
Gosh, this is going back to when I was crazy over Lucky Star & Suzumiya. I heard a Lucky Star mash-up with a 'really catchy track' and thought of finding it on its own. And so, beatMario takes that honour.

Vocal Arrange: Cirno's Perfect Maths Class
At the same time, I was known throughout my old anime club for knowing anime related dances. So as I decided to try and find other ones to learn, I came across a bunch of guys dancing in the snow; one of which was 'L' from Death Note. And that led to IOSYS being my first vocal song.

Pretty mixed bag there. ^^

Well when I first started listening to Touhou music it was Bloom Nobly, Cherry Blossoms of Sumizome that basically dominated my selection so that was probably the first song I paid attention to as well, though on youtube. My first encounter with Touhou was footage of the final boss from Subterranean Anime Animism but I wasn't really paying attention to the music as much as I was the bullet patterns so that doesn't quite count.

Well, from what I can remember, the first touhou song I've listened was someone's own piano arrangement of... what seems to be Gensokyo Millenium History of the Moon (It's hard to tell because it doesn't actually sound like it, but at the same time it sound even less like any other song). The first original song I've heard was Extended Ash Hourai Victim since that's what you get when you type "touhou" in youtube and nothing else.

I have a feeling that I've listned to U.N.Owen MUCH, MUCH earlier than either of them, though. It's not mcrolled either - I'm talking about the original song. I dunno. I don't remember either. Maybe Koishi is messing with my head.

Remix: I have no idea. It might have been a UN Owen remix, but I couldn't be sure.
