My last ascension ran me just under 17,000 turns though, due to going for level 30 and getting a truck full of trophies in the process, so this one might feel short by comparison 8D

It's a good thing there's some group interest going into this game. I used to play all the time back when Jick use to delete accounts that were inactive for more than three months.

And when I say "All the time" I really mean "long enough to reach level ten and then quit for several months at a time."

Needless to say, picking up from where I left off feels wonderfully refreshing.

I can already tell I'm starting to lose interest though. I'm almost finished getting the Wossname at level thirteen yesterday, but after spending about 200 adventures, and still having 145 left, I just decided that, suddenly, I was level 14 and went to sleep.

Yeah, it can be tough to stay interested for long periods when you've been through the content a few times (That's why people tend to pick up Greasemonkey, so they can burn through a day without actively doing anything when need be).

I actually donated and got a Mr. Accessory at one point, so my account is sticking around from ages ago. Man, I miss the days pre-NS-13 when everything was so simple. The majority of the quests have been overhauled so much since then!

I'm considering doing that before too long, either once friends pay me back from concert stuff or when I get some Christmas gift money. A lot of the past Items/Familiars of the Month and such sound pretty neat.

They have been substantially overhauling a lot of stuff recently. The Typical Tavern and the Bat Hole in particular I remember getting redone just in the past month or so, though I was past the Bat Hole on this run by the time that one happened. I really like the revamped Tavern though.
