here are my opinions (though opinions are like not allowed on the internet :V)

Nuclear Fusion - Chaotic and more your EPIK FINAL BOSS modern music. However, no matter how many times i listen to this, I don't get the ZUNgasm feeling D:

Faint Dream ~ Inanimate Dream - Quite epic and fast paced pass the intro, but somehow I was turned down by this when hearing it ingame D: (sue me) I find this as epic as infinite being.

Complete darkness - This>Reincarnation. (shaddap haters). This is freaking addictive. It like never gets old.

-Stage 6
-Extra Boss

Stage 5 themes are usually awesome, though i didn't quite like ancient temple.

Normally liking stage 6 bosses theme is about personal preference.

Remi's theme is HOHO YOU ARE FUCKING DEAD kind of elegance
Yuyuko's is Powerful, Elegant and yet peaceful at the same time.
Erin is ..... huhwhut (i pass)
Kaguya is  once again elegant but this time with the YOU'RE FIGHTING WITH THE EPIC MOON IN THE BACKGROUND then turns 180? and becomes a HAHA this impossible request will SCREW YOU!
kanako is godly *shot* You only realize how addictive this theme and how godly kanako is when you reach VIRTUE OF MOTHERFUCKING WIND GOD.
Okuu is WOOHOO LOLSUNBULLETS! Don't get burned!
Byakuren is very emotional, like 7 and 6 its the classic power and elegance but this time to fully appreciate it (and cry) you need to think of her getting beaten up for her own beliefs of equality despite doing nothing wrong.

Fake Edit: while i was typing this, i heard Kaguya's theme play on my iTunes then Mokou's. COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT!

Oh my god...
Well, you see, today I was seeing saint seiya hades OVA again, and I couldn't stop thinking about touhou...
First of all, they were in Meikai. (meikai, makai)
Second of all, they were crossing a river and I'm sure I heard "Sanzu no kawa" (And the boat guy had lots of coins like Komachi)
They met a judge. (Yamada!) (actually there were lots of judges, but only one that actually judged them )
And then, suddenly, out of nowhere, I was thinking that Yuyuko was inspired in Hades ( I don't know why myself. Go ask my subconscious. Hey, Apparently Satori, where is your sister  :3?)

Also, I can't say that I wasn't totally picturing your description as the equivilant Touhou girls.

I didn't realize that there was a (unrecognizable- to me. I don't know what the hell it is!) shadow at the beginning of the games (from th 6 - 9, I think)

Reading that made the opening song to 12.3 play in my head. (Did You See That Shadow?, kind of appropriate song title to suddenly pop into my head)
