The doors opened with a loud creak.
A small ray of light fell into the room that had long since been forgotten.
Two months have passed since our last game,
and it is time to brush off the dust and open the game room once more.



Here I present you two whole new sets of riddles, freshly obtained.
Each of them contains fifty cards, fifty cases of murder, betrayal and tragedy.
Cases that yearn for solution.



Sharpen your minds, my dear players,
as Black Stories is about to be revived.
I surely hope that I shall see familar faces, as well as new ones, soon in this game room.
There is also something special I am planning for the game, we shall see how the idea develops.

But most of all, of course,
I hope that we can once more have fun with playing those riddles I bring you.

With the advent of a revival comes the debut of what was once thought to be ash, rising anew like a phoenix~

Well then,
the wait was long enough.
Let us get back to business.
For those that have played the game before, you know what awaits you.
For those that may visit here for the first time,
you may be well-advised to read the rules here.

Now then, the first riddle you shall solve is the one Pesco requested (including the small modification he suggested :V ).
Note that from now on, we will have two sets of riddles to play with.
One is Black Stories 5, which plays just like the normal Black Stories.
The other is the 'Real Crime Edition', in which every riddle represents the live of a person that has really existed.
As such, solving the riddles completely is very hard there, so your goal will be to find the general circumstances surrounding the case,
and when enough has been gathered, I shall reveal the true name of the person in the riddle and the whole case.

Case 35 - Futile Wish
Suikama had been sitting his whole life. Yet he wanted to become a horseman like his father.

Now, for the thing I mentioned I want to try out:
I plan to play Black Stories in online-sessions in the future, parallel to running it here in the thread (though of course with different riddles).
I will most likely open a channel for that on PPIRC, so that people who are not frequent with IRC can use the webchat-feature for easy access.

One way to play is by setting up a date here in the thread, maybe once a week or every two weeks, and then all the interested people can join.
Aside from that, people are free to approach me on IRC (most should know where to find me) when you want to play, and I might also offer spontaneous sessions when I feel like it.

Any ideas or suggestions regarding the extension of Black Stories to realtime-games via IRC are welcome, feel free to drop them here or PM me~

First off, about the IRC-thing:
Pesco suggested we simply use his channel #touhou-meido on dejatoons to play, as it is originally the channel of the RPG-board, so it is perfectly suited for our needs.
We can still set up some dates for playing aside from spontaneous play, so that people interested know when to join~
Those interested, but unknowledgable in the ways of IRC, feel free to contact me and I'll help out.
