> Rest.

>You take one last look at the campsite before laying down again. Nazrin climbs onto your stomach as you were crossing your arms again behind your head. You resolve to pick up the pace tomorrow hoping that the monks weren't near.

Morning came by quick and you were awake before anyone else. You went to a bush and picked berries before waking up the girls. It may not be much but it'll have to do for today you thought to yourself. After everyone had breakfast you said.

"Alright, we need to pick up the pace. We've been in this spot for too long. Remilia and Patchouli, I need you guys to carry the leftover deer meat."

The girls all nodded. The rain wasn't letting up so you decided to make a umbrella out of a stick, leaves, and vines. It wasn't the best umbrella in the world, but it was big enough to cover the four of you if they hugged close to you.

"Squish Squish"

The forest floor was very muddy under your feet. Finally after an hour of walking you see the exit of the forest and the village on the horizon. As the village drew nearer and nearer to your vision you sensed that something was wrong. It didn't feel like there was a soul was inside the village. You got to the village entrance and found that the entire village had been burn to ashes. Only a few buildings were left standing. You thought.

"Who could have done this? Was it the True Assassins?"

The rain wasn't letting up and the air was filled with the smell of burnt ash. You and your group kept traveling through the village. The floor was littered with so much burnt bodies. Nazrin almost puked on your shirt just looking at them. On the other side of the village you saw footprints.

"Another trail..."

You are currently on the other side of the village entrance. What will you do now?

>Try and find a shelter in one of the not completely burnt down houses.
>Try and cover some more ground by following the trail.

>You decide that you will take cover in one of the houses for now. The rain was really pouring today. It was as if someone in the sky dumped an ocean down. After you had found a stable house you told the girls to stay there. You decided that while your here you may as well check other building and see if anyone was alive. Your leaf umbrella wasn't holding up very well against this weather. After two or three houses you stumble onto a house with two sleeping figures. What will you do?

>Come in and check.

>You resolve to get a better look at what they look like. You saw only a glimpse of a man with a sword by his side. Unfortunately the door creaked a lot when you poked at it with one finger. You decide to just leave them for now. Heading back to where you left the girls you noticed that even under your leaf umbrella you were soaking wet. You are currently in the house sitting by a fire you made to warm yourself up. Nazrin looked worried staring at you and so did Remilia. What will you do now?

>You decide that the storm is too thick at the moment and will wait until next morning before going out. You also told the girls what you found in a house.

"There is two persons that are still alive. I only caught a glimpse of one of them though. He had a sword next to him."

Patchouli looked like she was in deep thought before saying.

"It could just be a pillager. With the village as it is now I wouldn't be surprised."

It made sense. After all the only thing vagabonds cared about was goods. You laid down on the floor by the fire trying as best as you can to dry off. Nazrin laid down besides you clinging to your arm. Patchouli and Remilia laid down in opposite corners trying to find a comfortable position.

It was midnight and you noticed that Nazrin wasn't besides you anymore. You silently looked around for her in the darkness. You then noticed her outside standing in the pouring storm.

"Idiot!"

You thought to yourself. Then you noticed a girl on the other side of Nazrin. She was about as short as Nazrin but with purple hair and wearing a white midriff. Then you noticed something shocking. She was carrying a white mask in her left hand and was holding it by her face. That mask you immediately remember belongs to the True Assassins. What will you do now?

>Go out and drag nazrin back in.
>Pretend its a dream.

>You decide to observe a little longer waiting until the situation starts to deteriorate. The girl in the white midriff extended her free hand out towards Nazrin and Nazrin held it. She then pulled Nazrin close into a hug. After an hour or so of hugging, the girl in the midriff pulled away from Nazrin and took a step back. Even under this storm it looked as if she was crying. She then pulled a dirk knife from under her midriff with her free hand. You ran outside after you saw the knife. Nazrin smiled at that girl as you pulled her back. Then you realized that she wasn't going to use the knife to stab at Nazrin. She was going to use it on herself. What will you do now?

>Stop her.

You dived into the middle of the street and knocked away her knife with your dagger. You then held her in place. She was smiling at you through her mask. She then said.

"I'm a failure as a True Assassin... I don't deserve to live... I just wanted to say goodbye to my friend before I went..."

"Even if you think that way. I'll say this now; not everybody is purely cold hearted and cruel. If they were, everybody would destroy each other. Kindness can weaken in large amounts. However, it does not mean that it is for the weak. You only have one chance at life, are you really willing to give it up for just that one man?  You wouldn't right? So don't throw it away for him. Live your life for your own sake and for your friend's sake. Nazrin would feel sad if you went away right? Don't be selfish and go decide things on your own you idiot. Come with me, I'll show help you realize your own strength."

    She replied.

"Really...? I'm afraid though."

    You reassure her.

"Its alright. Take my hand."

She looks at you for a moment before hesitatingly taking your hand. She then said.

"Okay..."

After she said that, you reassure her again before you took her inside along with Nazrin.

"I will make you so strong that when you meet the real True Assassin again; he'll regret ever casting you aside."

Before you went to sleep again you pondered at what you just said. What was kindness to you? You then thought to yourself what did kindness look like. You start to remember the past again. You saw an image of a lightly tanned boy with black hair smiling with a big grin. Besides him was a short girl with gray hair. It was you and your sister. What was her name again you thought to yourself. You then remembered that it was Naomi. She was in awe with how you caught your largest fish. You then went home with her to show mother what you had caught. When you showed her the large fish she patted your head and told you that you were a good boy. Naomi was telling everybody in the village how cool you were and how she was glad to have a big brother like you. Those were the happy times... It had all changed the day the village council decided that you were the ultimate evil... Every friend who had tried to defend you were killed on the spot. Any friends that were left betrayed you to save themselves.

Why did it have to be that way? But then you thought to yourself how you just save someone else from being unjustly punished. Yet your true friends all died... They did so in an act of kindness too. You should be feeling hatred towards the village council but why aren't you? Why is it that you feel no hatred at all? Why don't you want to claim revenge against the village council? Then a picture of Nazrin's smiling face came into your vision. It was like watching a slide show. She looked so much like your sister Naomi. Then the last picture blurred and you saw that girl you just took in a moment ago. Her grin made you somewhat happy. You then realized that what you said to her was true. Not all everybody is cold hearted. You then felt Nazrin and the girl cling to both of your sides. You thought to youself before going to sleep.

"I will bare other people's sins. So that they may not suffer like I have. I'll bare the burden all by myself."

The next morning came by quickly. It was still raining outside but not as heavy as it was yesterday. What will you do now?

>Wake up everybody
>Scout ahead outside

"Do you any of you know whats going on with the weather?"

All of the girls looked at you funny except for Patchouli who replied.

"It seems that this girl that you took in is emitting a kind of field that causes the level of moisture in the air to change."

The girl shrank behind you as Patchouli continued to stare at her. You replied

"So she can manipulate the weather?"

     Patchouli replied.

"To a certain degree, yes. She seems to be unconsciously doing it."

You stopped for a moment for the information to soak in. You then decide that it doesn't matter at the moment and that you must follow the trail before it gets cold. After an hour of walking it suddenly was lightly drizzling. Your group came to this road full of stands. It was like a festival except everybody looked ethereal. What will you do now?

>You decide to ask for the girl's name before moving on.

"Little True Assassin, what is your name?"

You knelt down towards her as you said that. She smiled and said.

"The Real True assassin named me Cyber Fantasy."

You thought about how it was such a strange name before asking Patchouli.

"Can you farther explain the extent of her power?"

    Patchouli nodded and replied.

"Her powers seem to link from her state of mind. That storm was a representation of her anguish."

    You nodded then said.

"Is it possible for her to activate this power consciously?"

Patchouli thought for a moment before saying.

"No, I don't think it's possible yet. She is much too young to control it."

You sigh to yourself. You got up from your kneeling position and continued down the path. You also took mental notes in case you might return to this place to investigate. After awhile of walking you came to this large river. On the other side was a gate and nothing else. A ferryman rode her boat towards you. She was carrying a scythe. She smiled as she said.

"How you do wanderer? A mighty fine group of young ladies you got there. Anyways the fee is 5 gold cold if you want to pass. I could charge you much cheaper but your not a ghost."
