Thank you VideoGameCrack, for showing how epically wrong my friend is. I myself have a hard time to think up arguments to support Touhou while he's screaming and jumping up and down like a chimp. Whenever he starts dissing Touhou again, I'll use your rock hard arguments and points. If he still keeps his claims about it even after those arguments, it just proves he's ignorant.

I think part of his hate for it all originates from the fact he hates moe anime and cute things in general, and anything that remotely resembles it (Touhou and almost everything else I like) makes him go apeshit. He even dislikes some kinds of normal anime, even though he never saw it (he dismissed Gurren Lagann as stupid only because of the name).

You don't need to do that. I thought it was fairly obvious he's biased against it. Why forcing the thing down his throat if he's not even going to listen? It's like trying to prove that the Irate gamer is better than the AVGN to a AVGN fan.
