I use Hypercam 2. It allows you to record full screen with no slowdown (though if your game already slows down you'll have that to deal with).

12 misses? How is that even possible in a 1cc? Even if you're playing on max lives (which you shouldn't), that only gives you 10 misses.

I just use full screen + fast. Just in case it helps, I also set my frame thingy on "synch" instead of "asynch" and move synch down to 1. Other than that, I'm not sure how to help you. :\

I played around with the "priority" and "external ram" settings to try to make it lag less. I can't use frame skip at all.

If your getting a black screen, it means your recording the wrong window.

On a whim, I tryed to see how far I could get in IN lunatic with Sakuya solo, also known as LOL LETS TIME EVERYTHING OUT the maid.
The 1cc ended at Reimu because of AAAAAAAAH YING-YANG ORBS.
Still managed to beat it before 5.00 AM, so the game considers it a clear.

IMO, Alice is even worse. Yeah your damage is better, but you have basically no range and your bombs are worse then UFO MarisaB. Both of them have quite pretty bombs (at least her deathbomb) but they're also the worst bombs in the series D:

Anyway, all games 1cced on at least Hard and extra cleared, with the exception of HRtP(Got to Sariel on Easy =X), PoDD (DIE YUMEMI DIE), and IaMP (just grr). The latter 2 I've at least 1cced on Normal, the last being with Alice, IMO the worst character for Story but my favorite to play with.

And then, LLS/PoFV(Aya)/SWR 1cced on Lunatic, all shot types 1cced Easy/Normal/Hard with PoFV. Very nearly 1cced EoSD Lunatic, died twice with full bomb stock and STILL made it to Scarlet Gensokyo with 3 three bombs. And got clipped by the first bubble bullet wave.

Don't forget the inability to destroy familiars which makes some attacks near impossible. Ephemerality, Mystia's final nonspell, probably some others I'm forgetting.

The immunity to familiars is nice though.

Once you've played it a few times, it's actually pretty fun.  I did the Hard version with Alice on a whim.
