The Highly Responsive to Faith - THRtP redone *Sample demo out 2 levels*

Recently I've been playing The Highly Responsive to Prayers, and thought it would be a cool idea to redo it, and make it a bit different.

What do I want to add?

-Multiple Shot Types that you can switch between - Done
-More Playable Characters
-Different Bosses
-100+ Levels
-Extra stage
-A new storyline
-Redone music
-Being able to move vertically in a short distance (but there isn't a dash)
and more that I haven't decided yet :/

What have I got so far?
-Amulet Shooting
-Running
-The Dash
-The Orb
-The Shottypes
-The Cards

What are some issues so far?
-If you spam dash, and release the arrow before you're done dashing, you will just keep going fixed
-Shots fire from a corner of your body

When can I expect a demo of some sort?

Sounds good! Although HRtP is my least played game. Perhaps this'll help me get better at it.

Make it so bombing is mapped to a button instead of a combination that either goes off when you don't want it to or fails when you have one more hit on Sariel and no more lives and you'll be good to go.

Anyways, I fixed both the bugs, but it has some pretty choppy movement :/

I have concluded that the main characters are Reimu, Marisa, and Hikouki seeing as all games I make now have Hikouki as a main character :/

Also, nintendo, it will be mapped as a key. Possibly spacebar or c because z and x are already taken.

you create the yin-yang ball using the simple formula ax?+bx+c

or you use acceleration over the x and y axis.
requires some math knowledge, but i'm sure you can do it

You know, I once had an idea of making a tHRtP styled Reimu player for danmakufu, but I scrapped it before starting on it because it would be next to impossible to make it compatible with most boss or stage scripts, what with the lack of vertical movement and the bomb-nature of the yin-yang-orb.

I don't think that there should be more replayable characters in this game...it is the first game of the Touhou series and it's before Reimu met Marisa or anyone else after that.

Well, it's a fangame, so it doesn't have to make sense.

Basically there will be the regular two storylines (with dialouge that I may add) and Shingyoku.

Then there will be a few more storylines (out of the ones listed below) with dialouge.

I say that you can vote for two that you want the most.

Also, how about a makai route? :V One of the many things that bugs me about Story of Eastern Wind is that other than MIMAAAAAA, it completely ignores the PC-98 characters that were in the game it's based off of.

This.  This so many times.  If you're remaking it, use the characters that actually appear in the original game~

Wow, what a shock. It stars Shinki, but it replaces Eternal Shrine Maiden with Reincarnation...and Mima's the boss...when she's actually a boss later in the game...>_>

I dunno, I think it'd be best to leave the plot and characters as-is, but that's just my mind that has already come up with personalities for even Yuugen Magan talking. :V

Okay, here are some changes.

Hikouki won't be in it.
The storyline will not only be thickened, but possibly be lengthened.
There will be a smaller hitbox and grazing.

Also no it won't be like that Jaimers. that's just a retexture pretty much. I'm actually doing some gameplay changes.
