To start off... you know you're addicted to Touhou when you seriously wonder how to create an umbrella just like Kogasa's. Tongue umbrella. :?

You hear your manga nerd friend talk about Dio Brando and think "Gawd, that poor sap has nothing on Sakuya..." even when Sakuya was somewhat inspired by him.

People have some pretty weirded out reactions to your Touhou wallpapers and even the other nerds around don't know what the wallpaper is of. (Touhou being so obscure is both a blessing and a curse... *sigh*)

Touhou music is usually what you end up humming throughout the day. And by usually I mean always.

Master Spark is one of the few songs I can consistently remember the tune to and sing (Yes, sing <.< It's basically humming, just with gibberish words that sound vaguely Japanese but I'm relatively sure aren't...) and then I'll off and on remember the tune from other Touhou songs as well. Maid and the Pocket Watch of Blood, Riverside View, Doll Judgement, Casket of Star...

Apparently, they act as gatekeepers to the cell.

A sorrow my first attempt, an old broken umbrella, couldn't be repaired and thus couldn't have canvas attached to it. Instead, i'm going to buy a purple umbrella and sew the neccesary decor to it~

I just realized that I know Casket of Star by heart. The whole thing. I'm pretty sure that hasn't happened with ANY other song, even Love-Colored Master Spark only has a small part I can consistently remember.

I ALWAYS have some Touhou theme going in my head. Also it reacts to my mood, and when I'm feeling different, the song inside my head changes too, to fit to my new mood.
Of course, I know a lot of themes. My mind is very sensitive to music, and I can remember more songs that I can put on my mp3 player.

So my house has this bitchin' bridge thing right above the living room, right? My mom and sister were watching America's Funniest Home Videos and I leaned over to ask them if it was new. My mom looked around and noticed me, laughed, then went: "Jesus?"

Same. After listening to the piano remixes, though, just because those piano players can't do stacattos, they remind you of Yukari's IaMP/SWR theme.

But of course, I usually have a theme different from yesterday's theme in my head from Touhou everyday. One day, when I discovered Nue, it was her theme. Later, it was a certain Youkai Jesus theme.

I can't go through a single day without vocally imitating the sound of several Touhou music. Even I believe that I pretty much got ZUN's synth trumpet sound spot-on.

Hmm, I can't really explain it that well myself. I can't whistle, though, so no air blowing is involved.

Basically, you have to hold 'mmmmmmmmmmmmm' while adding vibrations on your throat for the 'buzz' of the trumpet. If that doesn't make sense, I couldn't really explain how I do it either. $:-\$

Also, by what I mean getting the sound spot-on, I was referring to the lower octaves since I can't really imitate the high trumpet notes at the beginning of Wind God Girl all that well.

Yeah, I like planning out danmaku and games in boring lectures, too. I've only been to college for a month, but I'm already working on my 3rd Touhou fangame idea in my head what I'm probably never going to do, ever.
