>Is there a fire escape? Or failing that, anything to land in?

>There isn't a fire escape, or anything to land in on the ground.
>But you do see a drainage pipe running down the wall to the ground, right next to the window.
>You then hear the sound of the door being knocked down. Yikes...

>Gesture toward the drainpipe.

>Nitori gets your message, as she goes for the drain pipe then climbs down of it.
>As you climb onto the drain pipe, you catch a glimpse of the front door - or what used to be the front door - as half a dozen Sukeban, two of them carrying submachine guns, busts into the apartment.

>You quickly slide down the drain pipe after Nitori, right before the Sukeban open fire at you.

>Okay, so the landing is still a bit rough, as you landed on your bottom. But hey, at least you're still alive and uninjured.

>Hiss "C'mon!"

>You keep close to the wall as you run away with no care for the direction as long as it gets you away from that window, with Nitori following right behind you.
>One of the SMG-wielding Sukeban pokes out of the window, and fires at you two.

>You and Nitori make a run for the nearest dumpster and jump behind it right before the Sukeban open fire on you.
>Good thing the dumpster is bulletproof. Although the Sukeban seems to realize this too, as she stopped firing almost immediately.
>And unfortunately, this alley is a straight line, with the nearest crossroad being too far away to get to without you being shot up...
>"You've got nowhere to run! So why don't you come out with your hands raised, like the good girl you are!" You hear the Sukeban demanding loudly.

> Inventory (From memory, don't advance time if possible)

//Inventory checks don't trigger actions and events unless you specify it. In my CYOAs, at least.

>Checking Inventory...
+WARD OF CASH ($99620) - Cash you looted from members of the Sukeban. You wonder why thay are carrying so much.
+T-SHIRT AND SHORTS - Clean clothes Nitori loaned to you.
+KNIFE - A simple knife. You took this from a Sukeban that tried to beat up Nitori for "looking at her funny".
+CROWBAR - A simple crowbar. You took this from a group of Sukeban that tried to rob a restaurant with you in it.

Had mystia pitch it. Carrying gun's is a bad idea. Also not interested in shooting people.

We can always keep it unloaded and use it for threatening, unless possession alone can get us in trouble
But it would be a good idea to have a long range weapon since they can hit us from a distance and our knife/crowbar can't

Ideally, we want to avoid lethal hits. A melee weapon offers a lot more control over that. The knife was just because knives are useful.  I was hoping that no guns would descalate things a bit, but that is a vain hope.

It's just that they appear to show no hesitation in shooting us so if we had a gun we could force a stalemate at some encounters or at least delay enough for other characters (Nitori) to do something

>The Sukeban is close to your position, but not too close.
>The mouth of the alley (the one not occupied by the Sukeban) is pretty far away.

> What happened to the hand gun we had? (The one we got in the restaurant and unloaded?)

//Oopsie, forgot about that. Let's assume it is still in your inventory.

>The handgun is still with you, ammo included. Must've forgotten about it when escaping from the Sukeban earlier.

Well they still have SMGs so I doubt our little handgun be of much use
> Does the  dumpster have wheels?  If so look under it (in the gap the wheels create) to see roughly where the Sukeban is in relation to us
> Examine alley, any hanging items/lights over us or the Sukeban?  Any doors or windows on our side close to the dumpster?

>You take a peek through the underside of the dumpster. You see that the Sukeban is still standing at the same crossroad you went through to escape her moments ago.
>You see a power line directly above you going across the alley. The closest door is a bit of distance away, and reaching a nearby window would require you to climb up a drainage pipe.
