>"She doesn't need it. Let's go!"
>Now we book it, for the nearest alley away from the sirens, then a block away, then keep moving.

>You make a run for the nearest alley (which is right next to you), with the blue-haired girl following right behind you.
>Then the two of you keep on running down the alley, until you emerge in another street, probably more than a block away (but still better than back there).

>"*Huff huff* I would say that stealing is wrong," The blue-haired girl says as she stops to catch a breath. "but that bitch deserved it, so thank you."

"Don't worry, I know my way around the city." Nitori says. "And as much as I'd like to, you can keep those cash yourself..." She then adds, noting your impoverished condition.

>"If you insist...but let's not make the exchange here..." Nitori says.
>Then with Nitori leading the way, the two of you take the long road back to her car workshop.

X-X-X

>You arrive at the car workshop Nitori works at. Turns out it wasn't very far from where the commotion earlier happened (though neither the thug girl nor the police are anywhere to be seen).
>"There: the place I work at." Nitori says as she introduces the shabby car workshop to you. "I call it the Kappa Repair Shack. Not very fancy, as you can see, but that's all I ask."

Sukeban are just japanese female punks, not a particular person.

>Rather, say, "Also, do you have any idea what that girl was going on about. Do we have a bunch of punks trying to hassle people, now?"

>Rather, say, "Also, do you have any idea what that girl was going on about. Do we have a bunch of punks trying to hassle people, now?"

//Yeah, sukeban are just Japanese female delinquents. Though "Sukeban" (with a big S) in this story has a slightly different meaning than it does in real life...

>"I heard these delinquent-ish ladies turned up out of the blue about a few months ago. But that's all I know..." Nitori tells you.

Now that we have a bit of money should we buy ourselves some decent clothes and items?

>Let's check how much we have, so we can split it properly.

Clothing is a good idea, too. If we actually hit it rich, maybe even find a hostel or something to stay in? The problem is, at this point, Shion herself doesn't have many goals. I'm expecting to get drawn into things as the story moves on a little bit.

//Yep. We're gonna have much more intense action scenes much later on.

>"Or maybe you can come sleep at my place, so you don't have to worry about paying rent and stuff..." Nitori says.
>You go count the ward of cash that you looted from the punk girl earlier.
>That is a thick ward. Why would she be carrying so much without a wallet?

>You count about 50 bank notes in that ward. The whole ward consists of 1000 Yen notes, making all of it valuing at 50000 yen.

>You imagine every possible things you can possibly do with the money.

> Ponder what can 50000 Yen buy and how much things like food cost

//Lets not assume Yen in Gensokyo has the equivalent purchasing power as JPY or is even the same currency

//Yep. Gensokyian Yen is not the same as Japanese Yen.

>50000 yen can buy you any daily necessities such as food, water, better clothes, etc. And since food doesn't look all that expensive in this city (from what you can see about the restaurants and bakeries you ocassionally passed by), that might just be enough for three whole meals a day for a long time. Assuming you don't blow those money on some unimportant stuff, that is.
