how much for patch?

If i were to ask someone to made a patch on counterstop or vsync or boss pratice for some obscure doujin shmup noone cares about, how much would it be appropriate to offer? 50$? 100$ ? 300$? more?
I'm not a pogrammer so i really don't know what are the prises. Tell me, pls?

If I knew how to ph3 I'd try to make Riverbed Soul Saver boss rush or something else. Otherwise, no.
