Actually, it's possible to only move once right/left to completely dodge it. It's hard though, as the room for error is pretty big. Well, that's how I did it because I completely suck at doing the other way.

On top of that, that was the best run of SA Extra I've ever done. 0 bombs, 2 deaths, captured everything minus Bumper Crop and Philosophy. Hell yeah.

NOTHING is as fast as GRT. GRT is like the hardest shmup attack that isn't a solid wall ever and it's only fitting that a goddess given human angel demon form should possess it and HNNNNNNNNNNNNNG.

Pssshhffft. Nue is a lot more fun than, say, Koishi or Suwako. Especially Suwako.

SanaeB takes all the fun away from Nue. Red and Rainbow UFO SCs become ridiculously trivial.

Also, I forgot to mention that I spent around something like 3 hours just looking at Syou's first SC.
...I think I'll have to slow it down and see what I can get. I don't like the fact that I get randomly walled, clipped by an offscreen bullet, bullets overlapping and I can't see shit, etc.

As of now, I have cleared UFO Extra with every shot type. I also 1cced SA with MarisA today.

Speaking of which, why do I never see any videos of people beating Koishi with anyone but ReimuA?

Because everybody other than Reimu A sucks. Reimu B may as well not even do damage, Reimu C's bomb is useless against an extra boss and does the whole "move once and all your firepower is diverted lol", and Marisa's hitbox makes the stage a nightmare like the rest of the game. Really, there's no reason to use anyone but Reimu A unless you want to challenge yourself.

The replay crashed MoF though, and it has the bug where the frame rate is inverted (0=60, 60=0) because I saved it twice; the first time I saved it, I put Na2O instead of Na2O2. >_>

Edit: Alright, the replay counter for the replay alternates between 255 and 15, except for on spellcards, which are a steady 0. >_>

I noticed that nobody that posted has 1cc'd PoDD on Normal yet (except for Donut and Baity). This makes me feel accomplished.

Now to 1cc Normal the other Touhou games...

Yeah, as far as I know, me, Trancehime, and Ruro are the only three people outside Japan to have 1cc'd PoDD lunatic (though I don't doubt there are others). That's because it's HARD.

@donut:  Considering Nue's last card is made of 110% clipdeath, I don't think "fun" is the right word for it.
Also I'm pretty sure GRT wasn't meant to be possible at all.  (You want the bullet clear bonus?  How about all of these bullets?)

I will grant that Nue is more fun than Suwako and Koishi, which isn't difficult.  That said, that doesn't imply that Nue is by and large "fun".  (Her nonspells aren't bad...)

Seconding that ReimuA far and away the best shot type in SA.  MarisA and MarisaB trade shot range for a massive reduction in firepower.  Everyone else has a hard time doing more damage than their base shots.

At a first glance, it appears to be static (same "flow" of bullets, same boss movements, etc.). Upon a closer inspection, it appears to be either aimed, or using a "set pattern with deviations" (i.e. BS due to the claustrophobic nature of Lunatic). At this point, I'm willing to go with the latter option. It may as well be put under "read this pattern quickly, dodge and be praying". Though, having a general idea on how the pattern works does help (a bit).

The only problem is... I can't read the bullets fast enough. And that's coming from a person who can consistently take on "VoWG" lunatic with ReimuA. Clearly, UFO Lunatic is THE kick in the balls for 99.99% of players.

Not a huge accomplishment, but I just tried PoDD for the first time. 1cc Easy on my first attempt, my only loss was to Yumemi because all the gigantic crosses that spawn on you took me by surprise. <_< Still, considering it was Easy there was an absolute shitstorm of bullets flying about. Also, Mima vs. Mima was a very '...what' moment.

Time to try on Normal. :V

My poor UFO grabbing aside (all but two were multi colored), this is exactly what I want to happen in a real run. UFO stage 5 lunatic, one death on the stage (I've seen two ways to get through the final part of the stage, and both rely on luck to work), and one on Syou (spinning laserrrrrrrrrrs).

Finally did a decent UFO extra clear. Now that I have red UFOs down, Nue's pretty easy...outside of Rainbow UFOs and her survival card, and even then for the later I'm starting to see how I'm supposed to dodge through those damned walls.

@Sapz: Damn you, I still haven't done that. Genetics is the only card in SA I haven't captured that isn't a Satori card.
