European Speedrunner Assembly 2016

Since it seems no one bothers to post about ESA here, I guess I will. ESA is much like SGDQ in that it's a week long marathon of speedruns raising money for charity, in this case Save The Children. So if SGDQ wasn't enough for you, here's some more speedruns to watch.

I looked through the schedule and one of the more unusual titles is Koumajou Densetsu 2: Stranger Requiem. A Touhou fangame based on Castlevania. So for whoever was complaining about the lack of Touhou speedruns in HME, maybe this will satisfy you?!?

Superb, thank you for reminding me this thing exists! They're actually running Chex Quest 3? Never thought I'd see a live stream speedrun of that in my life. I also see an Ultima game, which is great, as the series was horribly underrepresented at GDQ events so far. There's Croc (the cutest 3D platformer ever), Thief, Aliens vs Predator, Morrowind with all main quests... Even BubblesDelFuego with a Fallout 4 run! Not enough Pokemon though.

Huh, I could get down for keeping track of this. That Wednesday lineup looks killer. Surprising number of American runners, though.
