It's in the Edirol SD-80 synthesizer as the "Romantic Trumpet" patch. I'm not sure if you guys had figured it out by now, but I found this out on another forum, and while I haven't been able to see for myself, the guy who posted it knows a lot about synthesizers so I imagine that's about right.

Is there a place I can get the soundfonts off of that synthesizer? I must have those trumpets...

You need the same thing ZUN uses, or something similar.
It's a soundfont file, it stores a variety of the instruments ZUN uses in his games.
You need a sampler to play the sounds, and a program to make the sampler play the sounds in accordance to the notes.
The sampler is something you can get anywhere for free. The program he uses is Cubase SX. Luckly, I happen to have it.
Boy oh boy, all I need now is a synthesizer or midi keyboard. Then I can make that ZUNish type music with that charm. This stuff is fun.

Brightmoon, Rufus' MSG Editor, and SuperExtractor: does this mean every Touhou from 01 to 12.5?

Tools for MoF-DS: does this mean every Touhou from 10 to 12.5? What about specifically 'datpackerMoF' and 'datpackerSA'? Are those to be used only with their respective game, and all the other tools in this folder are to be used with every Touhou from 10 to 12.5?

No. Brightmoon is for most of the games, MSG Editor is mainly for 09, SuperExtractor I don't even know but it works on 10, 11 and 12 demo at least.

BGM Ripper coder here, I'm sorry, that was my fault.

I've implemented a (optional, but activated by default) feature to remove the opening silence by searching for the first byte not being 0. I apparently totally forgot that it would have been more sane to compare samples (= 4 bytes) instead of single bytes. Well, it seemed to work for all of the songs I tested, since I didn't notice any bugs and even the external encoders didn't complain about a missing byte or two.

Here's a fixed exe, and here is the complete fixed program.

Thanks for noticing, though, I would have never found that out on my own.

I'm having trouble downloading the Great Fairy Wars GST. Every time I go to the link, it says that there are "no servers with the requested data on them" and to try again in a few minutes, but it's always the same, yet if I go to another mediafire download for something else, I can download it immediately. what's going on?
