Hello and welcome to my second let's play.

This time, I'm going to play Touhou-A-Live, A Touhou RPG based on Live-A-Live, a classic SNES JRPG that sadly never left Japan. One of the innovative feature of Live-A-Live the stories. There are 7 different with different genres. for the Touhou version we have

Gatekeeper:

Genre: Martial Arts

Ice Fairy:

Genre: Fighting

Wild West:

Genre: Wild West (Duh)

Genre: Adventure-Comedy

Genre: Sci-Fi, Super Robot

Now, I need you to vote for whichever chapter I will do. Generally, the time limit for the vote is between 3-7 days, the chapter with the most vote is the one that I will play. By the way, I heard that Reisen in canon is actually antisocial to a degree (though I don't know to what degree exactly), so it's somewhat understandable that she gets cast as the grumpy veteran here.

Yeah, but antisocial doesn't always mean a jerk. The reason why she's a jerk is because she's direct expy of Darth in Live-A-Live who pretty much acts the same way to Cube. Though if you watched Terminator before or genre-savvy you probably know the reason why Reisen is dick to Shang.

Who doesn't know 2001: A Space Odyssey and HAL-9000? To be honest, I thought it was released on 80s.
Everyone loves zombies! There's a lot of zombies related media: Left 4 Dead, Resident Evil, The Walking Dead, etc. Behemoth? Zombies are harder, they have numbers, Behemoth relies too much on element of surprise in my opinion.

Considering the Wrestler chapter it's based on, I wouldn't say "easy". Short, yes; easy, not so much...

There's a little difference between Wrestler chapter and Ice Fairy. Masaru stuck at lv 2 throughout the entire chapter while Cirno gained a level for every boss she beats. Plus, look at the title.

Ice Fairy Chapter - Tsuda + Abise-Geri = WIN

These two moves allows you to breeze through the entire chapter

To be honest, I cheat though, I could never clear the maze by myself.

Every chapter which has JRPG element has optional superboss. Wild Chapter has an age-inappropriate superboss with its own theme song. Netherworld has a badass superboss with his own theme song (though I'm not sure if I can ever reach him). And Gatekeeper has a superboss (which is easy to guess) with her own theme song. Let me give you a hint: The superboss theme in Gatekeeper is T.A. Live Was Her?
