I was watching this edutainment show that my mom used to love on TV. They were going over the "fr" sound, and one of the things that they did was "freeze that frog!"

After the obvious "what?", I then wondered that in context, what kind of kids show would encourage that kind of behavior?

Well, it aired today, which was sometime in the last 20 years, so I'd reckon the remake.

My mom said she loved watching it when she was in college, so that's why it was on in the first place.

I used to watch the original when I was a kid. Probably one of the best children's shows I've ever seen.

My grandmother had gotten two books for the 1st Birthday present of a friend's baby.

They were 'Eye Like Numbers' and 'Eye Like Letters' (they're actually part of an 'Eye Like' series, no less, as I found while googling the names).

I wondered, when I first laid eyes on them, if they would be an appropriate present for a certain ice fairy, as well.
