1. Intro AoRY is a classic, Zun-style danmaku (not danmaku
fu) game I am currently developing. This game features Ran Yakumo, Yukari Yakumo and Chen as playable characters. The plot takes place some time after the events of th12 (though it's not really important). Each character has his own story line, with Ran's storyline still being considered to be "the main" (it all begins with our favourite foxy... or not really).
Ran's storyline's plot lies around Chen gone missing after she went fishing to the Misty Lake - and residents of Scarlet Mansion, undoubtfully, have something to do with it... yet not exactly known what.
The game will, as usual, have 6 stages in Story Mode and 1 Extra Stage, 4 classic difficulties - with "
easy" being slightly easier than normal of PCB/IN and "
normal" being as difficult as normals of SA, UFO and LoLK.
Each of three characters has two options of weapons (shot type and focused/unfocused bombs), six in total. Controls are as usual: Z,X,arrows, left_shift...
All characters used are from original Touhou series (no original character will ever be in this game). Personalities of all characters are based on canon (being, sometimes, "exaggerated" for purely cute comic purposes).
2. Current progress and future plans For now, I am using Zun's sprites, art and music. After the game would be 85+% done, I'll look for artist and musician.
Currently, I am fully concentrated on making pure Boss Run (stages 1-6), since after I get a new music, preboss part of stages will have to be ramaked according to the melody.
Nearest plans:
- Implemeting of all 6 player-weapon options (shot types and bombing)
- Remaking some spells of Boss 2, Boss 3. Boss 3 rebalance
- Easy, Hard and Lunatic for Bosses 1-3
- (somewhere at this point I plan to make Demo)
- Implementing Bosses 4-6
- Cosmetic effects (spell background, flares, other graphic)
- Replays
- Dialogues
- Scoring system
What has been done:- Most of game engine
- Normal difficulty: Boss 1 - 100%, Boss 2 - ~80% (scrapped 20%), Boss 3 - ~70% (scrapped 30%)
- Ran A (shot type #1)
- [to be scrapped] stages 1-3 preboss part
- Plans and ideas: for plot >98%, for gameplay >85%
To be done much later:- New art (sprites, dialogue portraits)
- New music
- Art for endings and prologues for each of 3 storylines
- Final difficulty balance/perfecting (unless it's really-really balanced and perfect)
- Implementing Extra stage (plot/dialogues are ready long ago, unlike spells)
- 3D - backgrounds
- Menu
3. Changelog **.**.2012 - started to learn programming using Delphi, with AoRY for practical purposes.
**.06.2015 - ressurecting AoRY. Old code makes my eyes bleed.

- fixed bug where game would run not at 60 fps sometimes
- fixed bug when bullets spawned by familiars during boss fights sometimes didn't disappeared.
- fixed lots of drawbacks of game engine, refactored bad code structures (I am a professional programmer now! Not like before. )
- finished Boss 1
- implemeting player's options currently, soon to be done
4. Inviting anyone to a Skype conference I'll need a musician some time.

to start the game, you'll usually need to press L (press later P to start it over again). С removes bullets, V destroys enemies.
a normal Demo is intended to be released in some monthes.
