Here's hoping Skyrim and its DLC goes on sale for like, 50% off. I'd love to get all the DLC, mainly so I can mod my game more.

I know I'm quite a bit late on this but it is indeed a game that's worth the price (I purchased it on sale too). Plus on Bunny Extinction difficulty you get some crazy hard patterns comparable to Touhou Lunatic difficulty.
I still need to beat it on hard, oh well. Gotta stop being lazy, I suppose.

There's a shoot-em-up sale on Steam right now, and I'm not sure which ones I should pick up. The only thing that seems familiar is Mushihimesama, but there's plenty of other stuff that I don't recognize.

The Exceed trilogy is pretty good, and Crimzon Clover is a must-have. The Tale of Alltynex series is also solid from what I hear, and you can't go wrong with Astebreed or RefRain.

I don't wanna double post or bump up anything but, Trillion 1,000,000,000,000: God of Destruction will be on Steam with a 40% deal off on November 7th, coming with that it will have the free PSvita DLC pre-installed inside it. The Deluxe Pack will be $9.99 and comes with goodies for your computer and artbook and ost and is only accessible to buy when you purchase the game itself, while the Deluxe bundle will come with the game and Deluxe Pack and tacks on another 10% off deal with a purchase of both game and the Deluxe pack itself.

Sadly it was supposed to come out today, but they pushed it to November 7th.

The final free game of the year on Uplay is Assassin's Creed III. Come visit historic New England! (And do give the Tyranny of King Washington DLC a try sometime; it's a fine finale to the series in my book, where they finally let loose and stop trying to follow actual history and create a crazy nonsensical AU with superpowers that works so well.)

On that note, while you're on the Humble site, make sure to snag DiRT Showdown while it's free. The last times Humble gave away Codemasters games, it was because the licenses were expiring and the games could no longer be sold, so best to pick it up while you can!

The fantastic Alan Wake is sadly being removed from the Steam store and Xbox Live on May 15th due to music licensing issues. It'll be 90% off on the 13th and 14th, making it about $3, a few cents over that for the special edition. (Not sure if the franchise will be available for $4, but hell, American Nightmare makes for an excellent extra.) It's a very smooth action-horror game free of jumpscares but full of immersive, eerie environments, snappy dialogue, and a glorious soundtrack. Sadly, looks like that last part is its downfall.
