After more than 170 hours of game, I got 9999999 at money , and I was go to the bamboo forest to talk Tewi and make her request.
Ducking Tewi, she trick me again DX
Anyway. Somebody knows about the official tournament that they going to make at this month?

I figured that Tewi's request would be 1 above the max amount of money we could get, about the tournament, only know there's some irc channel, 63 rule and something about hamachi. Not going to enter since my team probably sucks vs other players. :V

Important things to remember:
Date is April 18th 18:45(Japan time, +9 GMT)
There are 63 basic rules, details not yet unveiled.
You have full freedom to customize your party between each match.
If the match got interrupted by connection problem, then you can have a rematch. But if it happens a second time, the results will be determined from the recorded replays.
As such, replays must be enabled by both contenders.

Here are the requirements to participate in this tournament. Not fulfilling it beforehand will result in disqualification:
Updated the game to the latest version, if there are any updates, before April 17th 19:00.
Enabled replay save
Have an account in IRC channel, or use IRC client. By the way, channel is #幻想人形演舞
Can use Hamachi (only if you can't use IRC)

I've just finished the main game a few days ago, and just tried my hands on reincarnation by looking at the guide in the JP wiki, but this certainly could help.
Even though it was just a blind run, getting 5 As and 1 S isn't so bad.
Now I've reincarnated half of my team to full S ranks.

How's the difficulty? About on par with a regular Pokemon game, or harder?

Letting you choose your starter from pretty much anything is almost a little cruel, I'm still trying to decide between Utsuho or Miko but I keep bouncing around and wondering if I'd have more fun with another one instead.

Difficulty seems similar to the normal Pokemon games until you get to the end of the story where you're a little underleveled if you didn't do extra grinding (at least it was like this for me) and the final fights mostly consist of your opponent having a hyper offensive super-fast team that tears you to shreds without you being able to retaliate :v

Ended up grabbing Miko after I made that, should have looked at the list on the first page earlier I guess.

This is significantly harder than Pokemon though, it's like Red/Blue if there was a bunch of trainers on the first route with one that has two lv6 Pokemon at the end and then the one optional rival battle on route 24 or w/e was made mandatory before you could enter Viridian Forest. Though I do like how there doesn't seem to be any real penalty for losing. Most of the systems seem like nice minor improvements over Pokemon, too (the option to switch between abilities is great, I know that'll save me some headaches in the future).

Where is the 1.18 or 1.19 patch? (The ones that work with the English translation

I have found the-1.10 , 1.20, 1.31 and 2.02 but not the ones specified that work with the english patch

On Focas Lens' website there's only 1.10 to 1.20 patch. I still have 1.10 to 1.19 patch though, so I can upload it for you (and other people who want english patch too).

I hope other updates Arent THAT BIG like to make me play on japanese, but it cant be that bad i guess, i just have to look at the move power/accuracy and i guess i can win 70% of the time playing blind

Yes.

I don't think that other than costumes (which is just a cosmetic change) and small bugfixes there where any big game-changing fixes.

Okay started with Meiling (didnt knew you could start with anybody, i guess legendaries are excluded)

How do i fix the gibberish numbers? i cant see any number, just....odd messed text,I guess red moves are physical and blue are magical?

Oh nuts, I didn't actually realize that Style Changes were permanent. Didn't actually do anything I want to take back, luckily, but I was thinking I'd be able to switch between Miko's forms, both of which look to be excellent in pretty different ways (great attack and good speed with Speed Boost, or wtfhigh attack and great speed with Defeatist).

This'll also make it a bit harder to pick forms for Futo and Sanae considering I was originally planning on using both and I already have a Fire type planned, I guess I'll probably ditch one.

Yeah, there are a lot of nice little improvements on the default Pokemon formula like that. One of the many benefits of using their own engine instead of a ROM hack, I guess.

They released the soundtrack at Reitaisai a few days ago. It'll appear in online stores later, though.

You didn't really have a choice of which ones you got though. You could get a random one (starter) for 100 Yen, 6 random ones (full team) for 500 Yen... or ALL of them (gotta catch 'em all!) for 10000 Yen. This was probably so that people couldn't just pick favourites and leave behind the least popular characters.

It's possible, looking at the Icon file which has all the menu sprites for puppets it has a huge amount of space not used, updating that and adding in the few new battle sprites don't seem like a hard thing to do later on.

As of two weeks ago 280 out of 400 trainers were translated, which I believe is the primary hurdle now? It'll come eventually. I've got endless respect for those doing this though- it's no joke even without hex editing.

So I'm a little unclear on how playable the game is in English right now. If I buy it, to what degree will I be able to enjoy it? Is there at least a basic gameplay translation patch that I can get my hands on? I keep seeing references to one, but I can't seem to actually find one that works with any update patch that's still available.
