Day 1 experiment. All 4 runs have room for improvement, so I'm not sure which 3rd game is better (only sure that the 3rd game won't be SA).

Is TD really so good it needed to be disallowed?

SA is probably worth the most score on Lunatic, don't know about Hard though.

Also, Shimatora, the 37 I had before was correct: 8+1+2+6+4+16=37

Again, SA seems to be the best game on Lunatic. I don't know what happened on UFO, the stage could be improved but I don't see such a good Shou fight happening ever again. I'm not sure if PCB is the best third option, maybe MoF is better?

Didn't bother grazing much besides the Stage 3 boss 1st nonspell. I was more conservative with my resources, so didn't take that into account when trading them off for point items.
There was a mistake of making 2 sacrifices, should've just did one after defeating Nazrin, since the full power would've helped better and I only needed to use 1 bomb on her.

It's not so bad on Easy at least in this challenge. Normal I get up to Stage 4/5, while Hard/Lunatic don't see me past Stage 3 yet. Hardly had much practice on this particular game.

Congrats on clear. Takes a bit of heartful practice to cap all the spellcards. It's also easy to be reckless with the PoC as well, especially on lower difficulties.

Heh, thanks. I'm pretty proud of myself, as not so long ago I couldn't beat it on easy with UFO's. That's great progress. (Even if I finished the run with no lives and one bomb left).

I didn't try, but I think on normal I would get to stage 4 and died here (eventually on stage 5 if I would be lucky), as I really hate fight with Murasa. Especially her survival card. I hate that type of spell cards (brings bad memories of Princess Tenko... ugh).

I think I may have genuine issues with numbers or organisation, probably a mixture of both, as I seemed to have gotten it wrong even after putting it all in a spreadsheet. Emerald has offered to track it for me and I'm almost definitely taking him up on that offer.

Regarding updating the current month's standings: I'm still recovering from being ill and really don't want to sit down and do it right now. Will update in a few days.

...Thought I might as well contribute. I wanted to participate last month, but I was tied up by IRL stuff.

PCB I did at the beginning of the month as a test run. didn't know I'd actually go through with the whole thing though. SA was kinda fun. I don't know how to score UFO. If I had captured more of Shou's spells I would have probably scored higher.

Edit: Ended up using ReimuB for the UFO challenge. Since I'm fairly decent at Shou with ReimuB, I figured that capturing all of her spells would make up for my previous run. And indeed it did. Although the stage portion isn't as great...

Happily awaiting the day that DDC makes its appearance in the challenges ^_^

Now to try and get a LNBNUFO run ready before March. I suspect that having NB on top of NUFO is the "hidden" condition. IRL business has hounded my freetime though. So don't expect too much.

I accomplished this fairly early in the month (and had some lucky dodges towards the end), but I thought I could potentially improve on this. However, I never had another run as good as this one. What's with the seemingly random score variances anyway? On rare occasions, I could get over 50K with my first or second shot, but usually I get in the low-to-mid-40Ks, and sometimes even less than 40K, despite having 2.0 for "Boss Shot!" and 1.5 for "Nice Shot!". In fact, I'll share a couple of replays I saved of me getting unexpectedly high shot scores for one of the first two shots:

53,560 for the first shot: Replay (Too bad I ended up failing this run.)
55,460 for the second shot: Replay (Unfortunately, this run was also a failure.)
