I probably should have thrown this up before the con (lol) but Ohayocon was awesome. Sadly I didn't get to do the house shenanigans I wanted to do because of the weather but it was a lot of fun and I got to sneer at touhous all weekend and go EWW TOUHOUS (while in Keine of course). Missed the two panels but heard they were awesome, and the photoshoot Friday was fun (including the last minute relocation shenanigans).

So I was in Rebecca Chambers and got grabbed by a roaming group of Umbrella operatives that they were gonna do a photoshoot and I tagged along. We get down into the main halls and prepare to setup when this guy goes up, plucks the sombrero off a girl's head and runs off. What happens in the next 5 seconds is glorious as 2 Raccoon City Police officers and a dozen Umbrella and STARS and BSAA operatives tear off after him (all "armed" of course). They eventually catch the kid and get her hat back, was amazing. The sight of 2 cosplaying police officers chasing and catching a thief made my weekend. Escorting him back while looking all smug with their billy clubs was worth it.
I wish I had more to writeup but in reality I did really nothing except relax and be a gooftard and watch other people be gooftards. First convention in 4 months and you could tell because everyone was just being that much weirder because they've had to coop it up for so long. There was a group of Zubat cosplayers going around in a group circling cosplayers and "attacking" them in a horde. And Bemani Invasion ran the game room this year and I got to watch this guy basically breakdance while playing Pump It Up. It didn't matter he was playing on Easy, he made it look so good. And I went to a "Nevermind the Buzzcocks - Anime Con Edition" and watch as a very drunk Tenth Doctor cosplayer show how much of a weeaboo she is. I got to be in a lineup for "Guess the Celebrity" AND I WON A PRIZE FOR KNOWING KAMEN RIDER BRAND FISH SAUSAGE!
