Thoughtsteal is amazing because it's a +1 in terms of card advantage

The fact that it takes the opponent's cards just makes it hilarious

Also I main priest for Ranked and it's OP as fuck

So much goddamn card advantage holy shit fucking Northshire Cleric is one of the most broken cards in the game

Combine that with all the 1 for 1 cards like Shadow Words and late game is an easy guaranteed win unless you get killed before then or have your combos countered

I go into Arena.

Get mage.

Draft 5 Fireballs and a Pyro.

10-3. [Getting to 10-0]

Yep. Mage is fair.

I decided to never play arena again. The last 5 times I wasn't offered any 1-3 cost minions and went 0-3 every time. Even when I got 3 Pyro as a Mage.

Yeah, pretty much why I always pick mage if I have the option.  On the offchance I get a mess of spells like that, it's free win city.

Unfortunately, I tend to wind up with closer to no spells and a bunch of bad minions.  I did wind up with 4 flamestrikes once, though

It's a good thing 90% of decks I see have Ragnaros in them. That means I don't have to craft him.

EDIT: This seemed like a good idea at first

BUT WHO'S WORST?

HUNTER.

[I'm playing Hunter because I have most Hunter cards; and my only Legendary is Krush so I wanna use Krush :V]

So yeah. I'm allowed to whine about Preists as Hunter :V

And I had like 24 cards in my deck when he used Thoughtsteal I'm allowed to be a little annoyed he stole Krush.

But hey; if anyone should be favored by RNGeus it's the Preists. Being holy and all.

Also if Misdirection had hit his Tazdingo instead of his face we would have traded Krushes so no MC. I had a huge lead but when you're suddenly taking 16 per turn to the face... yeah.

they kept spamming burn damage cards so all i did was spam heals on myself every turn

eventually they had no cards left and i still had a full hand so they just surrendered :v

Conversely; I just got a Mage with like 0 spells. I got some Mirror Images and 1 Fireball and that's like it.

0-1 retire after I got stomped by a Hunter who didn't even have any good Hunter cards.

I missed the screenshot but I probobly annoyed this Druid so much:

He plays Onyixia with an empty board.

I use a Thoughtstolen Swipe on his face. Kills all the Whelps.

I use Shadow Word: Death on Onyxia.

The next turn I use mindgames and steal an Ironbark.

Preist in a nutshell. He be stealin' your spells; stealin' your cards; stealing your precious things.

And yes I made that godawful paint edit.

Anduin is actually Marisa.

We will be making changes to the following cards: Unleash the Hounds, Sylvanas Windrunner, Blood Imp, Defender of Argus, Pyroblast, Dark Iron Dwarf, Abusive Sergeant, Warsong Commander, Charge and Novice Engineer.

Unleash the Hounds? mana cost is now 2 (down from 4)
Unleash the Hounds was intended to give Hunters their own form of AoE and to have synergy with other beast cards, but its old cost was too prohibitive.

Pyroblast?s mana cost is now 10 (up from 8 )
The 8-cost Pyroblast made for an un-interactive experience where the Mage only needed to do 10 damage during the course of a game and then double Pyroblast you for the win. We want Mages to be more interactive with the opponent to achieve victory, rather than delay the game until they can Pyroblast.

Blood Imp is now a 0/1 and now reads: Stealth. At the end of your turn, give another random friendly minion +1 Health.
The Warlock has three very strong 1-cost minions and that made the Warlock rush deck slightly stronger than we were comfortable with.

Warsong Commander has been reworked and now reads: Whenever you play a minion with 3 or less Attack, give it Charge.

Charge (the spell, not the keyword) has been reworked and now costs 3 mana. The card?s new power reads: ?Give a friendly minion +2 Attack and Charge?.
Both of these cards were key components in ?One Turn Kill? or ?OTK? decks that kill your opponent in one turn without requiring any cards on the board. We want the game to be about playing minions and fighting for board control rather than just waiting until you can play your big combo and win in one turn with no interaction from your opponent.

Abusive Sergeant now reads: Battlecry: Give a minion +2 Attack until end of turn.
Abusive Sergeant was changed to make its power the same as the Dark Iron Dwarf and to give it additional versatility.

Dark Iron Dwarf?s buff now only lasts until the end of the turn.
This change was made to reduce the Dark Iron Dwarf?s overall power slightly. We also wanted to make the Battlecry effect the same as Abusive Sergeant?s as to not force you to permanently buff one of your opponent?s creatures.

Defender of Argus is now a 2/3 (down from 3/3)
Defender of Argus was a card that found itself automatically included in many decks due to its power and stats. We want players to have an option of what cards they put in their decks, so cards that feel like they must be in all decks (especially Neutral ones) are not ideal.

Novice Engineer is now a 1/1 (down from 1/2)
The Novice Engineer was played in most non-rush decks (and even some rush decks) due to its cost and power. Similar in reasoning to our Defender of Argus change, we want players to have an option of what cards they put in their decks.

Sylvanas Windrunner?s mana cost is now 6 (up from 5)
Sylvanas had power and stats that made it a bit too powerful compared to other 5-cost cards, which made it automatically included in many decks. We want players to have an option of what cards they put in their decks, so cards that feel like they must be in all decks (especially Neutral ones) are not ideal.

Strange; my most successful constructed deck after this patch...

Is my Warrior deck. Which is more of a buff-oriented deck with Rampages and Worgens and Gurubashis; it's more of a slow grind deck too. Only thing that actually hurts it is the fact that since Engineer is now I HP I can't Taskmaster it or something. Or get it hurt and then have a 4/3 very early.

I've actually got to the point where I am frequently playing against decks with Rag and Sylvanas and stuff now with this deck. I do not have these cards.

So I'd say keep. Hyena/Buzzard and Hound shenanigans are fun.

it's really situational but uh it's basically still a decent hunter card for lack of better options :derp:

i'd vote for keeping it, it's not great but it's hunter

And now I'm a murlock.  Lord have mercy on my soul.

12-2 Arena Deck.
[attach=1]

Memorable battles include a Warlock that played 4 blood imps. I was on the verge of losing but had a 4/7 chance to top deck a Swipe or Starfire for direct damage and got it.  2 victories occurred with me drawing my last card. Beat a warrior who had 3 Kor'Kron Elites and 2 Arcanite Reapers (got lucky and was able to put up a last ditch taunt with Mark of the Wild on my Oasis Snapjaw). We rematched and he crushed me the second time since he went all out aggression and also got his Fiery War Axe to counter my Turn 2/3 play.

Rewards were 2 packs, Golden Mirror Entity, 225 gold, and 20 dust..... grr. At least one pack had a Doomhammer which I needed.

i keep pulling unleash the hounds, although before it was a lot worse so i just sacrificed them for 40 dust

now that it's buffed should i keep them or just go for the dust?
If you are thinking long term, I would disenchant all the patched common cards that you aren't immediately using. You stockpile multiple commons pretty fast because you tend to average 3-4 commons a pack. 40 dust vs 5 is a huge jump for all those repeat commons. UtH at 2 mana is really damn good now though. I need a Snake Trap and then I'd be ready to give a beast Hunter deck a go.

This is the weirdest Warrior draft ever.

0 weapons. [Except a Weaponsmith]
3 Epics [Brawl/2 Giants]
Bloodhoof.

As Rampages + Stormwind Knights came up a lot.

I went 4/3
