Puzzle & Dragons is an ios/android puzzle RPG.  It plays like a cross between Bejeweled and Pok?mon.  It's completely free to play, but has premium features through purchasable "magic stones," the game's premium currency (which can also be obtained occasionally as rewards in-game), which allow increased inventory, pulls from a rare egg machine, and more.  If you're patient enough the game gives you enough stones through special events and rewards that you shouldn't need to buy any.  (It's recommended you don't because you are almost guaranteed to be super frustrated at getting screwed by bad rolls ;_;)

You can control monsters from lowly slimes to mighty dragons  to even gods like Ame-no-Uzume (above).  They all have different stats and skills, allowing you to customize your team for any number of purposes.

A tip for new players: At the end of the tutorial the game will give you one free pull on the rare egg machine.  It's best to "scum" this pull and start over (by uninstalling and reinstalling) until you get something that's really rare, like a 5-star beastie or a god.  Great starters include any of the Chinese Gods, Shiva, Ares, Isis, Horus, Idunn & Idunna, Hermes, Archangel Lucifer, Great Valkyrie, Amaterasu, Odin, Loki, Persephone, Parvati, Batman, and many others.  Feel free to ask!

Feeling like maybe I should just buy box space and hop on the Pengdra treadmill (with a smattering of other evo material gathering, I'm particularly in need of dark keepers and light dublits) for a while. I'm not dissatisfied with my progression even though I'm still not really up to scratch for any Descendeds or anything, but I do feel like I need to take some time and work on the monsters I've got rather than adding new ones constantly.

Many runs of Ancient Light Dragon Expert later, I have picked up All Of The Gold Moltras? and evolved my Athena.

I also did some metal dragon runs, saw exactly one tamadra that didn't drop, and will probably spend the rest of the day on thursday dungeon funtimes.

No Tamadras here, but I did get my Lucifer to shoot up to like level 35, from 11 or so this morning. I should probably do what Arashi's doing and just focus on evolving things for now so I can handle the normal dungeons better.

That's more or less what I've been doing for a bit. Evolved my Dryad into a Mandrake and my Marine Goblin into a Marine Spec Ops Goblin.

I did get a Tamadra when I first started playing though

Umm yeah, that 1 tamdra every 400 stam claim in metal dragonville. Is that 1 tamdra appearance that often? Or you GET one that often? I got the impression you actually got it but now im wondering since ive seen 4 and got 0.

Even if its get one in 1000 stam, better than the bs as fuu skillup system. I have no clue how people skill ANYTHING to max. I bet i can get 10 tamdras before i max out just my effing siren qq.

Scumming rerolls isn't too hard for me right now as each attempt only costs me about 20 minutes. I plan to try get something good enough to keep from the free pull and then hoard stones until a godfest rolls around.
