Name: Hisan Sainan (tl: Disaster Calamity
)
Title: Mistress of Disasters
Species: Youkai
Sub-Species: Generic
Ability: Controlling any disaster
Occupation: Managing Gensokyo's disasters.
Appearance: Hisan has long, disheveled ash gray hair that constantly looks like her hair is being blown back by a strong wind. The has a white scarf that is similarly blown back. She wears an ice-white blouse with a blood-red vest on top. Her skirt reaches her ankles, but it's in shreds and tatters by the time it reaches there. The has rock-brown sandals. Her arms have brown, blue, white, gray, green, and red bracelets to signify various natural disasters (earthquakes, flooding, ice ages, storms, volcanoes, and biological happenings). She has no hat, as it has blown away thousands of years ago.
Backstory: Hisan is a primal youkai, born when the Big Bang occurred. She was in control of every disaster in the universe, like asteroid impacts, galaxy collisions, and various other cosmic disasters. When the Earth formed, she moved there, as there were more disasters in a single place than she had ever seen. When humans first evolved, she was called upon by the gods, and she was employed to deliver natural disasters when they requested. As more and more disasters were being explained by science, Hisan moved to Gensokyo, becoming the local disaster youkai, demoted from her position of being a servant of the gods.
Relationships: Hina: Disasters and misfortune go hand in hand.
Various other gods: She was called upon by them to send out disasters as punishments or blessings.
Medicine: Poison and disasters go hand in hand, too.
Komachi: All those deaths from the disasters have to go somewhere, right?
Spell Cards:Space Sign "Meteor Impact": A clump of various bullets (brown on the outside, red in a ring around the center, and yellow in the center) spawns in the center of the screen. Hisan then circles around the clump, randomly throwing around snowball bullets. The snowballs move around the clump, and if they hit the clump, the bullets around the snowball fly out randomly at high speeds.
Earthquake "Fault Zone": Brown bubbles and rice spawn vertically in a jagged pattern in the center, forming two lines of bullets. The lines first move away from each other to the edge of the screen, and then rapidly return to the center, then over shooting a small bit. The lines reset, but this time, the lines "grind" each other, moving up and down. The lines do this for 5 seconds, then they explode as the "earthquake" happens. Rinse and repeat.
Prolonged Rain "Flash Flood": Hisan teleports to the bottom of the screen. She then moves up, spawning blue flame bullets in a similar fashion as Murasa's "Venus of the Bilge" spell card, but much more smoothly and quickly.
Ice Age "Glacial Advancement": A wall of white bubble bullets appears at the top of the screen. It then closes in on the bottom, taking 5 seconds to do so. The wall stops at about 1 player sprite away from the edge. Meanwhile, Hisan rapidly moves around at the top of the screen.
Cyclone "Wind-Blown Rocks": A "city" of gray bullets spawns around the player, with the player being in a "street" devoid of bullets. Small rocks (from SA) blow in from the sides and top, scattering bullet debris everywhere.
Volcano "Mount Fuji": A volcano of black and red bullets spawns in front of the player. The bullet volcano then erupts, spewing red, orange, yellow, and black bubbles around, before the volcano falls randomly towards the bottom of the screen.
Pandemic "Bacterial Apocalypse": Survival card that lasts 90 seconds. A little snowball spawns in the center of the screen, representing a bacteria. The snowball then doubles and moves around until it reaches Hisan, who is randomly moving around. Once the snowballs touch her, she starts spewing blood bullets in random directions, mainly towards the bottom. The snowballs disappear. At 45 seconds left, she then adds in green "vomit" (with little chunks of carrot, meat, and other things that a youkai eats) that is aimed at the player, but it has a large spread. At 30 seconds, her movements become erratic, occasionally ramming the player. At 15 seconds, large, tan "tumors" start bouncing around the screen, being reflected at the edges. At 5 seconds, an Okuu sun encompassing half the screen appears where Hisan is, and not disappearing until the card times out.
