Looks like I did it. A few notable minor mistakes (not suiciding at the right time in early stage 4, panicking to Seija's final, things like that), but my PIV gain and speedkill optimizations were enough to finish 8 million over the WR.

Also I was streaming this run, but it turned out there was actually no desync, surprisingly enough for DDC Marisa.

800m MarisaA is close, but I think I'd prefer to go for MarisaB next.

MarisaB is surprisingly hard to optimize. The bombs have a small bullet-canceling area and last a long time, meaning bosses can move significantly while the bomb's active, and you need to wait a while before you can place another bomb.

Also the power items from bombing add a new element to resource management-- is it worth using bombs to increase the multiplier on boss item sets? I've been doing it anyway, but I'm not quite sure.

Anyway, I think this route needs a lot of improvement-- right now it has too many suicides with bombs remaining. I still need to work on my consistency with MarisaB, too.

MarisaB's bomb is still quite tricky to use. I wonder what it'd take to reach 800m... Well, there were still various missed 2.0s in this run, and I don't yet know a way to consistently get 2.0s off of Seija's dual-spiral nonspells (they didn't turn out that well this run). MarisaB's bomb may have some unexpected-as-of-yet uses, too.

I suppose ReimuB is next.

MoTK Lunatic record get, I suppose.

Very sloppy execution which prevented me from reaching 1.2bil and beyond. Missed many 2.0s in the later stages. But this was more of a test run since I haven't played in a while. Not sure if I'll push this or not. We'll see.

Noteworthy mistakes:
Stage 1: Horribly messed up midboss Cirno (so hard!)
Stage 2: Messed up the end part and missed the 2.0 (getting a 1.6 instead) preventing me from bombing Sekibanki three more times.
Stage 3: Messed up a 2.0 after midboss Kagerou. Sloppy pre-boss section. Failed Kagerou's second spell (failing spells is like a sin in DDC, unless SakuyaB lol).
Stage 4: Mostly fine, I missed a 2.0 in the part after the midboss, didn't bomb Benben's second non correctly, but DID capture Benben's final which is essential (I was rusty and didn't practice :V)
Stage 5: Ooooh boy. Missed far too many 2.0s in this stage. Need to relearn pre-midboss section. Need to learn post-midboss section, and end stage part. All of Seija's spells captured, fortunately.
Stage 6: Didn't remember how to go about this one, so it was improvised. I need to go into stage practice and revise this stage (as well as the other stages). One noteworthy thing is that in the wisp section, you can get three 2.0s, whereas I only got two. That could have easily pushed my score to 1.2bil if I had gotten the third one. Stupidly bombed Seija's midboss non.

Sukuna's fight was NMNB, which is pretty much a requirement on ReimuA Lunatic. All spells in the run were captured except for Kagerou's second (Damn that spell!). Getting LNN on this game really helped polish my survival abilities. I'm sure I can push my score in this category higher if I really put my mind to it (and gathered the motivation :V)

I felt like filling up the board a little, this may not add a whole lot but atleast some categories will have one run in them. Also for some of these I do not have replays anymore (The very old runs, I have them on my old Youtube channel.) I think they're under 0% but I'm not certain, they are definitely under 3% though.

Yet another edit: made the entries look better; added a better run for MarisaA and SakuyaB in the extra stage, might improve some of these someday.

Ultra difficulty in edits inserted: added a much stronger SakuyaA run for Extra, sadly enough it died to one of the nons in a stupid manner, otherwise this would've been 700m+ I might improve those runs sometime.

OK, sure. I hope you don't mind the delay. This is about your more recent 513m replay.

Anyway, nice start. I think the main improvement is that you need to focus more on 2.0s-- if you aren't already, use stage practice to learn how many enemies you need to defeat for a set of 60 items, and when to safely auto-collect / time your bomb. 2.0s are highly valuable for both their life parts, and the point multiplier from stage 3-4 onward.

More detailed comments:
Stage 1
- In the first two stages, point items are negligible for points, but they are valuable for resources. Try collecting items in sets of 20 for more bomb parts (keep in mind every 5th bomb part is replaced by a life part). A set of 60 for a life part is possible just before the boss, but I'm pretty sure ReimuB has to bomb for it.
 
Stage 2
- If you wait to collect the midboss items, you can combine them with 4 fairies' items for a 2.0. It's hard with ReimuB, though.
- Bombing isn't needed to auto-collect the stage 2 laser orbs, and actually cost you the second 2.0-- you only need 2 waves for a 2.0, or more precisely 10 of the 24 orbs' items. Start shooting the first line of orbs from the right, second from the left, and so on.
- To minimize damage with ReimuB's bomb, don't let the orbs overlap the boss for longer than you have to. (Also, don't finish off patterns with a bomb-- you'll miss the PIV from the manual cancel.)
- It's actually possible to bomb-graze the proximity bullets on Sekibanki's 2nd, for over 1000 PIV per bomb (at least as beneficial as bombing her nonspells). It's hard to explain-- check a replay?
- There was no point in bombing Sekibanki's 3rd for score-- was that a survival bomb?

Stage 3
- If you start on one side and stop shooting after the laser orbs spawn (wait until one's about to leave the screen), you can gain a 2.0 there. Applies to both sets of orbs.
- Post-midboss Kagerou enemies are very profitable-- bomb both nonspells (don't worry about the cancel, just deal damage) to spawn as many as possible, then start building up the 2.0s. The first 2.0 comes from Kagerou's midboss items + 6 spirits' items.

Stage 4
- ReimuB's unfocused shot is better against the laser orbs than her focused shot. She's still weak enough to have trouble defeating them though.
- The first two safespottable waves' items can be combined for a 2.0 (bomb the first as late as possible, then position yourself in the safespot for the second). On the latter two, don't safespot-- you missed the orbs' items.
- Benben's lasers are fairly profitable to bomb. Also, you can bomb post-Benben orbs for 2.0s.

Stage 5
- Combining two waves of orbs gives a 2.0 each time (you'll need to bomb some sets). There are only barely enough items, though, so make sure not to collect any items too early.
- When bombing for items, remember you can shoot some enemies first-- as long as the items haven't left the screen, they count toward the same bonus.
- You can bomb midboss Seija's nonspell to defeat her faster (don't bomb the spell though, since spell bonuses are fairly high by stage 5). As with the other stages, more post-midboss enemies spawn, and this late in the game, items are worth it for the points themselves. Also, like with stage 2, 3, and 4, you can combine midboss Seija's items with some enemies' items for a 2.0.
- An effective way to clear all the pre-boss Seija orbs at once is to ram into one-- the death wave defeats them. (Best if you're out of bombs, obviously.)

Stage 6
- Every single item in stage 6's stage portion can be collected as 2.0, though again, ReimuB's low power can be a problem. (On the spirit part, auto-collect 12 spirits' items at a time, that is 3 left 3 right 3 left 3 right. Not sure I knew that at the time of my 737m replay.)
- You can trivialize Shinmyoumaru's 5th spell by alternately approaching the orbs and backing away-- they freeze in place each time they change color, so they end up barely moving at all. Works on all difficulties.

Looks like I still have it in me. It's nice to have a ☆ again, though I suspect a player like K・G who has much more free time than I do will take it back within a month, like with my last two DDC records.

Of course I had to finally clear on a last-run-of-the-night where I played it out after several minor mistakes (damaging Sekibanki's 2nd nonspell too much with bombs, and dying in early stage 3). I also died to the point item spirits in stage 5. Not sure how much those mistakes lost, but apparently not enough to place me below K・G's 747m.

I suppose ReimuB is next.
How true that was... only 2 years later than expected.

I wouldn't recommend ReimuB unless you're trying to score with all the shot types (or you particularly like using Fantasy Seal for PIV farming). The low power makes it more difficult to follow stage routes.

I think my other Reimu/Marisa Easy scores (find someone else's replay if playing Sakuya) are at a similar level of optimization though, if you'd like to learn from those. They're not WR anymore, but my first-half PIV farming has been consistently better than K@G's, so there's that to consider.

Ah, well I was thinking of trying to improve my ReimuA easy score sometime, although I am not certain when, I'll be sure to look into some runs and make some notes whenever I do so.

OK then...

As of the end of stage 4, this was 9m/600 PIV below my "762m potential" due to missed 2.0s on stage 2/4 and an accidental death preventing me from bombing Yatsuhashi for PIV. I guess that run might've actually been 763-764m potential? It's hard to tell. And it wasn't even the best post-Sekibanki PIV I've had-- the best I've seen is 37300, though I almost never break 37000.

Actually, dying to Yatsuhashi might not be worth it after all-- maybe I should remove that from the route. It does gain around 400 PIV * 3 bombs, but loses a bit under 1m from the third spell's bonus, and another ~1m from the value of 43 power items.

And on what I expected to be a minor derust run, first attempt after over a week of not playing. What happened to 762-764m potential? I seriously don't know how I did this.

I even somehow had an 8/8 clear, on a route that expects to barely finish with 8/7. That means I was not only an entire spell bonus ahead, but also had 8 additional life+bomb parts at the start of boss Seija.

But anyway, unless K・G or someone else retakes the record, I'm done with this category. I might improve my ReimuA or SakuyaA scores next. Or perhaps return to SA Easy or LoLK Normal; I never did get a run I was satisfied with for either.
