I was just thinking about a dream I had where I was basicly given permission to ask Alice Margatroid any question I wanted and thought of many questions, some decent - some inappropriate, but ended up asking "when am I going to see you again?"

That got me thinking. If you could ask any character in the touhou series one question, what would it be?

It's hard to narrow it down, but I'd probably ask Eirin for a more detailed history of the Lunar Capital and their relationship with the Surface.

Too many questions, but to narrow it down I'd avoid asking Mokou anything. If I were allowed just one question, I'm not sure anything I could ask an immortal would do anything but raise several more questions.

I would probably ask Koishi to show me around Chireiden. Always thought it might be an interesting place. There are probably better people to ask than Koishi, but I don't really care. :V

Hopefully the former would be pleasantly surprised enough that someone would ask a math/computational complexity theory question, rather than ones about magic, Gensokyo, or how her hair fits into her cap, to answer it honestly and helpfully.

Eh, Yukari's more noted for ridiculous math skill than Eirin is. The latter would be a good one to go to for something like a cancer cure, though (although I have no idea how difficult it would be to convince the medical industry to pay attention long enough to see that the stuff is legit).

Ran is the math person, but Yukari is better than Ran in every way, including math. Ran as a character mostly just exists to make Yukari look good.

Other questions I'd consider asking include "how is it everyone you fight automatically understands the spellcard rules, and possesses the ability to use them, danmaku and flight" or basically anything to Rinnosuke, provided the resulting discussion would take at least a few pages to transcript.

How to utilise artificial nuclear fusion could also be a good one, although Okuu probably couldn't explain how to use it without Yatagarasu powers.
If I somehow knew of someone having met an interesting historical character in their lifetimes, asking about that could also prove interesting.
