The Reitaisai site has still not been updated with any news about their future plans. However, they have released a full list of participating circles. Due to some system glitch, only the version sorted by booth number is available now.

There are 4312 circles in the final list (according to yunonote), compared to the initial 4317 registered circles.

I'm curious, is this later reitaisai going to have the same circles or is it going to be a bit like an overflow, like deciding the main one will go uo to X circles and other can go to the other one (not implying one is lesser than the other).

Yeah this seems to be the case lately, for example when we wait for Shingeki no Kyojin spoilers on the 5th ~ 7th of every month when it's regular street date is usually on the 9th. Somehow the Chinese have a way with getting us the spoilers early. Naturally the publishers aren't very happy with this, hence the crackdown. If I recall correctly this has been said months ago and yet we're still here getting spoilers two or three days early every month. If they were really serious about this, it would've been in effect for quite some time now (right?).

But I think this will have less of an effect on Touhou, imo since we wait all the way until Comikets for full releases without any shortcuts imo :V

Apparently, there is going to be a new Touhou game coming at Reitaisai 11.

Also, Seija is the main character of this game.

So ZUN did conduct some kind of experiment by efforting in a Youtube tutorial. As I said in the 14.3 thread, he most likely is starting to take oversea more serious. Pleasant developments.

I didn't realize that Youtube kept track of the viewers' genders. Well, I guess that's probably connected to its integration with Google. Now I have a number to cite! Although I wonder why ZUN thought 15% was surprisingly high.

In the Touhou Popularity Contests, the male-to-female ratio has been aroung 9:1. Of course their representativeness is debatable.

The 3rd NicoNico Super Conference starts the day after tomorrow. You know ZUN will be selling his own craft beer made by Baird Brewery, but have you found out about what is this year's ZUN Beer?

Either a single "w" or multiple "w"s are Japanese internet slang for laughter (warau), and ZUN isn't above using "w" on twitter for mockery, which I've always translated as "lol". No matter what he says, it seems he's too shy to admit he's attracted to this indie thing, so he has to put in an "lol" to show he's not too serious about it.

There are more important news I still haven't covered (how many times will I be saying that?), and I failed to properly cover the recent book releases, but here is a thing:

In the Comic REX magazine, an ad page has revealed the cover art of Wild and Horned Hermit Vol.4. The next issue of Comic REX will come with a replaceable cover for the book.

A book signing event will be held on June 1 at Melonbooks Nagoya (Note: this is not a permanent link). As before, I'm not going to translate the details about how to get in, because if you are in a good place to get in, you probably has some way to read the page.

Never mind about WaHH Vol. 4, just now ZUN has announed on the Nikenme Radio stream that he will be attending the Summer Comiket (86) this year.

For context, earlier in today's show, he said he was going to release Touhou 14.3 at Comiket 86, but moved it to Reitaisai so he can enjoy more free time.

If he wants to enjoy free time, the Comiket release must take even less time to make. A new music CD?
