I mostly use Okuu and Sanae and I can beat Arcade mode on Hard with no losses, so i'm moderately proficient.

Signed up. I should be able to do this and hopefully my schedule won't get out of hand. Only problem I may face is lag. Whenever I netplay someone (only netplayed one particular user so I can't completely confirm this) the game lags out horribly, even with sokuroll. So I'm hoping it won't be too much of an issue. I don't have the greatest internet connection (or ISP for that matter) in the world.

Yo! My Soku name is Moonblade92, and while I think of myself as a mediocre player (still better than the Lunatic AI tho, but that's not hard) I am good enough with Remi to be able to do blockstrings etc. Apart from Remi, I might also on occasion play Yuyuko and Aya.

There seems to have been a bit of confusion between myself and Yaffy as to when the tournament is supposed to start. Two days after I changed the date for the Sokumaidens tournament, Yaffy had asked for the tournament to be pushed back a bit, and due to some miscommunication and timezone differences, we had given out the wrong times. I hadn't realised I mentioned 16:00GMT in my post pushing it back, so I didn't bother changing anything and decided to edit in a few days time. Apologies for any confusion this has caused.

The tournament will be played at:
20:30UTC+1 / 20:30GMT+1

If anyone isn't sure when this will be for them, be sure to ask!

1) Preferably port forwarding! See Yaffy's guide for port-forwarding if you need any help. If you get stuck, you're welcome to ask for help from myself in IRC.

2) It'll be held on the 28th of April!

3) GMT-4 would be 15:30PM for you if it is indeed -4. If it's +4, then it'll be 00:30.

That'll probably be a great test for lag. I was also thinking of heading to my uni for the tourney for better internet, but now that I thought about it, that probably won't be possible. In our CS lab, on the Windows side, the firewall will definitely block Soku, and on the Linux side (OpenSUSE), I doubt Wine will work with me, it really sucks on those systems. You're lucky if something will run on it.

EDIT: Seems lag won't be a problem. :3

EST is GMT-7 I believe, so it'll be at 1:30PM your time I think.
