These are actually pretty neat. Really fits for Touhou for obvious reasons that I don't need to explain.

Ha ha, nice! I'm kinda amazed this is the first we've seen of this kind of blending.

Baity: For a moment, I thought you broke 1.1billion. Upon looking at my score.dat, I can assume that you destroyed the score that is my failed (first!) 1cc attempt on my first day of playing. Congratulations.

Kinda reminds me of this (NSFW unless you have AdBlock). But still pretty awesome.

The yukkuri one made me shout-laugh.

My personal favorites are the second Youmu picture and the Utsuho.

Years ago, when I was a newcomer to the community, there was a thread on the imageboard asking for woodblock-style pictures of Touhou. It's not the first time, but you're right in that it never ceases to be a novel thing. I love fine art parodies.

Heh, tried to post an SC link of that in the addiction thread the other day, didn't know there was a wordfilter for that site.

Anyway, pretty neat stuff.

At first, I didn't see what was so special...

...then I looked again, and suddenly, they were amazing.  :D

Has that ever happened to you guys?

Oh, all the time, most often with music though. Didn't think much of Necrofantasia, tGtGL, Candid Friend or the PCB stage 5 theme the first few times I heard them, but they just get better the more I listen to them.

No matter how many times I see these, it's still awesome.

Now to go trick my friends into thinking Touhou really is THAT old.

The pictures remind me of comic books like Superman for some reason  :derp:. I bet with this drawing style an action Touhou comic could be made...unless if it already exsists.
Indeed.

This is kinda neat. My favorite is the Byakuren one, but the ones involving Mamizou are just hilarious.
