Underrated themes

I accidentally bought a CD of metal remixes at Otakon, and it was pretty bland stuff.

And yes, please, I'd love to hear them. Might as well post them here.

Which CD? I remember getting a metal arrange city at Anime North, though I never heard of them, but found out why.

Supreme Duel, from Aquastyle. It sounded like they fed ZUN sheet music into a weak speed metal machine on all the default settings. The video was alright to watch, though.

Nth'ing both of Rumia's themes, the remixes I've found tend to be metal and don't recreate the playfulness of the originals.

This should make up for all of the remixes that don't exist.  (Watch more than the first 20 seconds.)

All of SoEW's stage themes have potential; I have no idea why people hate them so much.
Legend of the Great Gods is arguably rated where it should be, or at least that's my Western perspective.

The song I most look forward to remixes of is UFO Romance.
I would love to hear one -good- arrange of Alice in Wonderland too.

Also Awakening of the Earth Spirits is my favourite title screen theme.

On the other hand, sometimes you get rock/metal arranges like Wild Moon (Evening Star).  I also like Rage (Missing Power) from the same album.

For something more mellow, this arrangement of Yuka's PoFV theme is great.  And since I hear you like Tengus, have some Wind God Girl.

I'll agree with Maple Wise, I love that theme and have found exactly one remix of it so far (excluding remastering). And Y NO MORE MARY THE MAGICIAN?! Seriously, I love that song.

Also Poison Body ~ Forsaken Doll was awesome, it's lack of remixes saved only by this which is awesome.

Right on! I love Wind God Girl and that's always been my fave vocal of it.

Most non-bad apple PC98 music. Even tHRtP has awesome tracks. All of Alice's themes I also find great.

Unknown X is one of ZUN's more unique boss themes, but no one seems to pay attention to it much, unfortunately. I also really like Illusionary Night, but that isn't too neglected.

Some of the ones mentioned actually do get remixed a lot.  You just have to search more often on Youtube.

Illusionary Night ~ Ghostly Eyes is not that underrated imo.

I'd like to see more arrangements of:
Charming Domination
Heartfelt Fancy (this one gets a decent amount of arranges though)
Night Falls ~ Evening Star


Charming Domination is so underrated it's not funny. I can barely find some sort of arrangement that uses the different sections of the whole theme. I don't understand why though, perhaps it's overshadowed so much by Necrofantasia and Border of Life. And the Phantasm stage 'remix' (Who done it) is pretty lacklustre compared to the original which is the Extra stage theme.

(Except for BadApple I hate that song because of A.R now)

I also do wish there were more remixes for songs like The Strange Everyday Life and The Last Jugment.

Oh and how can i forget one of Marisas Most underated theme, Dim.Dream.
