Job, you know of this artist named "Mark Crilley"?

He has awesome tutorials for these types of things. Check him out on youtube, maybe it can help you improve your drawing!

That was exactly the artist who I saw.
Although I don't really like the way he does anime hair.

You can use the principles he uses and make your own variant. It's your art style, do what is most comfortable to you.
